    great loss Beanie

up much later than I intended to be but I've done lots of sewing and had late snuggles with wonder bairn, have popped her down in her basket now so going to get my toast and a drink then call it a night; lots to do in the morning before my dad arrives tomorrow so need to be up and at 'em and hopefully full of beans from the off but...we will see how that goes!

Hope everyone has had a good day/night :)

Brilliant losses you two. Well done!!:T

I made a very :money: version of Szechuan beef tonight. We had roast beef the Sunday before our holidays and I used the leftovers for beef & horseradish rolls for the plane and then cut the remainder into small strips for the freezer. Then I added sliced mushrooms and courgette to the peppers in the recipe to pad it out and give extra SF. It was yummy although I did go a bit mad on the red chillies. So much cheaper than using a piece of steak like I usually do.

Good for you resisting the pasty MrsR. I really love them but, like you, I've virtually had none since starting SW. You could have made much worse choices than a couple of Freddos so don't beat yourself up.:)

Think I've done ok today. Had dinner in pub but I think it was ok (pasta arrabiata, which was just pasta with a very frugal non oily tomato sauce). It had olives in it but I gave them to my friend. I asked for the cheese separately and didn't eat it. I checked that the pasta was dried and not fresh. Then once it arrived and I inspected it, confident that it was sw friendly I had 3 small glasses of wine :rotfl: (13 1/2 syns)

Also had diet coke, cherries, coffee and soya milk (hea), bran flakes (heb), banana, lamb, cous-cous. Oh and lots of sparkling water.

Got to fill my days somehow Maman at least until I head back to work in October ( :( )
today I've (90%) made a reversible dress for wonder bairn once she grows a bit plus two matching bibdanas (one for each side) and started a vendors apron for myself to use on the playgroups stall on Saturday :) Need to make some signs for the gala too - might leave that til tomorrow and work some more on the dress though

Wish I could make a living out of this stuff!

You know, I bet you could. Ive just bought a couple of really pretty 'taggy' blankets from ebay. They were relatively expensive for what they were, and I know I should have been able to knock some up myself but I'm about as creative as a brick wall.

The bibdanas I'm assuming are the triangular shaped bibs all the trendy babes are sporting these days? I'm sure, in pretty, creative colours and materials you could sell them.....why not give it a try for a couple of months before you have to go back to work? I'll be your first customer :D

    Hi all
I don't know what it is with me today but I just feel like I want to eat utter carp :( I went into Sainsbobs and had a real craving for a pasty (I used to love them when I was big- I've had one in the last 14 months!) but I managed to rein it in and came out with just some strawberries and some mango chunks. But then I went into Iceland to buy some chicken chunks for lunch tomorrow and I happened on the fact Freddos were only £1.. So I bought some and have eaten 2 :o feel throughly disgusted with myself :( I'm going to have an utterly bland and boring (but only 2 syns) meal now to punish myself and stop me exceeding my syns!!

No-o-o, don't feel like that. Be really proud of yourself for resisting the pasties, and as for the Freddos....they are within your syns, so count them and move on. You don't have to punish yourself for slipping up slightly. If you exceed your syns, so what, it's only once and a few less tomorrow will sort it out :D

Annie - can I go on the challenge list please? 14lb target.

you are making me feel very lazy! I'm focussing on the fact that although I could possibly do lots when my baby is sleeping (I probably wouldn't, but still) I have a toddler running about who no longer naps.

Had bran flakes for breakfast and going to have a banana shortly. Lunch will be salad stuff and probably some eggs.

Don't know what to cook for tea. I've been making a veg/bean/quorn thing for us to have that lasts 2/3 days and the last one ran out last night. Got to come up with something for today but my other go-to recipes are not SW friendly so got to put some thought into it!

Hubby weighed himself last night because we thought it would be interesting to see if eating the SW meals would make a difference to him too. He was horrified! He weighs more than he has ever done - but still less than my target weight :rotfl:

Having a Red day today for a change:

    B - mushroom omlette; banana
L - LO tuna crunch from yesterday; selection of fruit
D - Beefburgers & onions in rolls (2 x HEB - Great White Rolls). Will probably have some gherkins & salad in as well.

    Snacks will be more fruit.

HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day.

Syns - burgers from butchers (unfortunately not my usual butcher!) 7
    weekend wine.

Away for weekend so probably won't post again until Monday.

    Morning everybody,

Mrs Ryan - 2 Freddo's will not bring you down!

So I went to weigh in last night and had a lb no. Ive now gained 3 weeks in a row despite being good and exercising like a demon.

Folks I'm calling target. I can't do this anymore. I think I'm getting too fixated on the numbers on the scales and I'm finding it all a bit much. Maybe I'm done and my body is happy at a size 12 and 10 stone something.

I'm going to concentrate on my fitness, toning up and finding my next challenge. I'm getting nothing from my group now that I have lost weight. Contemplating getting a trainer / going for body fat measurements etc.
