    Hi everyone :)
Meg, I am so sorry to hear about your friend :( you are right about the wigs- I wear one as I have alopecia and I have them in all different colours and styles :) I like to swap them round when I'm in new company and watch the look of confusion on people's faces :D naughty, really but I have to laugh else I would cry!!
Had a bit of a rubbish day again :( I have managed to go to the gym today though which is good. Hoping for a really good loss this week.. Would like my 2.5 stone before I go to my Mum's next week- but my consultant is on hols for three weeks then and there's three of us really close to target so I bet she'll be gutted if we all hit it while she's away!!

Sorry to hear about your friend Meg, really hope there's something they can do for her.

Just back from holiday and really don't have time to scroll through two week's worth of pages as snowed under with washing and the like. Sorry if I've missed anything vital but have read the last page.

So sorry to hear this news meg. Do post as much as you like. Only this morning I was reading that GPs should be taking more notice of emotional reasons for weight gain. So my reasoning is that this thread is as much fro emotional support as weightloss tips.:) Sending you a big hug. You are a very kind friend.

Dearest son bought me some gluten free burgers made by tesco? No idea on syns, can someone look up syns please?

Can't find Tesco brand but Co-op 114g gluten free burgers are 6 syns for beef and 5 for lamb.

I'm not going to WI tomorrow as convinced I've gained about half a stone while away. I was completely off plan and although I did have many SW friendly foods I certainly wasn't food optimising!! I don't weigh at home but my skinny jeans I wore fro journey out and back told me all I didn't want to hear. So I've got a week to make sure I'm back within my target range. At the moment only one lunch out is planned. I've done a small shop today to see me through to the weekend.

    Today's menu's been very good:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB Shreddies, HEA milk
    L: ham, apple, Satsuma
D: liver, onions, mash, peas, cabbage, carrots
Syns: gravy, 2 squares of chocolate

Really sorry for hogging the board like this but really cant talk to anyone else, not at a real depth anyway.

Take as much space here as you need. I have lost two people close to me to cancer and I know what it is like to try to talk to people about it. I had a lot of support but the truth is that a lot of people don't want to talk about the ins and outs of cancer treatment. They can't really cope with it. So talk all you like on here. We will try to support you as best we can.

    big hugs
