Well done on getting to healthy BMI weight SeaBea. That is my goal still got 6 stone to go though.
Hope your back is better topgirl
Struggling to get on line every day at the moment, working none stop so need a holiday. Hoping to get away in September and want to lose at least another 2 stone by then.
Had a few people comment that I had lost weight over the last week which has really gave me a boost.
Then I want to the fair with my son and was too fat for the seat belt to fit on a ride. So I did not go on any more after that.
Weigh in for me today 1.3 lb off. This takes me not far off my target. It ends Monday and my weigh in is Weds.
EE day for me today.
Breakfast - wheatabix, skimmed milk, grapefruit
Lunch - mug shot, apple, nectarine, banana
tea - super rice with extra veg, salad, hard boiled eggs, baby bell light
Snacks - water melon
hea - skimmed milk, baby bell light
heb - wheatabix
Syn - 3 x kallo chocolate covers rice cakes 9, options hot chocolate 3 - Total 12 - might not have all three rice cakes though.0 -

Well done tazzyb on your loss today.
Thank you so much everyone. You are a really inspiring bunch. I'm so grateful to all the people who replied when I was upset and wondering if it works.
I have looked at your signatures and can see you are losing lots of weight.
Thanks also for pointing out that I'm not eating enough veg. Actually I prefer veggie food, just don't like salad all that much.
Was delighted to hear that if you don't eat enough, your body starts to hold on to what it has!!!
I like to eat a lot but to be honest, am not great at cooking proper 'meals'.
Today:
breakfast couple of spoons of yoggidge (2 syns as using HEB for bread)
HE A soya milk in coffee at work
lunch baked potato low fat cottage cheese, salad and fat free dressing, sip of diet coke
dinner… just grazed… smoked salmon, home made scotch broth, toast and banana (toast is HEB), fat free hummus, broccoli, fat free yoghurt with spoon of honey (1 syn),
No wine - yay! Just sugar free juice and lots of water at hot yoga.
Body magic: went to hot yoga (fattest in the class, but hey ho, I'm not bothered!)
Thanks again for your responses, I have read and re-read them. Interesting that people aren't going mad on the carbs. Good idea maybe to limit them a bit. I'll try not to have a baked potato every day! You are all cooking 'proper' meals so I will try to too.24.06.14 12 st 12 lb (waist 45" at fattest part of belly)

hostie~how did you find the hot yoga then?
I find it a bit hard if I am honest but I know it is good for slimming as one of my friends dropped two sizes when she did it regularly.
Tonight it seemed a bit easier than the few times when I have gone before. I think it is important to have eaten a few hours before you go so that you have the energy for it!
Do you do it as well Beanielou?
I also go to Iyengar yoga, which I love, but I don't think it makes much difference to slimming. The hot yoga does as it is more like a fitness class.24.06.14 12 st 12 lb (waist 45" at fattest part of belly)

Ohh i'd love to do yoga or pilates but i hate being in a class where everyone knows what they're doing and you're the newbie!
hostie - whats yoggidge - is it some new culinary delight that we've yet to come across?Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
shala~ I have been going for about 11 years & I still don't know what I am doing  :rotfl:
The spirit of yoga is really just to go & 'be'.
I am youngest in my class & my 83 year old friend is so much better than me!!!I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I was guessing yoggidge was the yoghurt/porridge combination (magic porridge??). Great new name for it though!!
Well done to the losers
I'm trying an EE day today as I fancy some meat.
B - branflakes (HEB), raspberries/blueberries/mango, greek yoghurt (3.5 syns)
L - tuna/quark/red onion in a baked potato & salad
D -fajita chicken (without the tortillas), boiled potatoes, grated cheese (HEA) & salad followed by an orange
Saving my syns for wine at the weekend'A watched potato will never chit'...0
