Well done Shala!!
I'm a big fan of a homemade pizza as well - though I haven't made them in ages. I normally use Nimble bread and Low Low Cheese with passata and then whatever meat and veg I fancy chopped up finely and serve with a big salad.
Doing my shopping list and meal plan for the first time in months. I'm kind of er wondering what the heck I have been doing for months upon end - sat in a trance with the black dog sat beside me and man related drama melting my head!
Deary me its time I got my life and my !!! in shape!!!
Its like coming out of a coma - : /
Slightly embarrassed!0 -
You're sounding really positive lantanna:)
I'm working on my meal plan for the week too and can't make a decision! All EE or have a couple of days green or red??
Today will be green, just cos I want chilli halloumi and veg kebabs for dinner tonight:j
Breakfast - toast with banana
Lunch - pasta salad with roasted veg, pineapple, raspberries and muller light
Dinner - chilli halloumi with mushrooms, onions, red and yellow peppers, courgette.
Can I use my two hexa's for cheese?
This leaves a hexb for supper so probably toast with jam (2 syns).
Going to try banking syns for weekends and see how that works out.0 -
Wow no pizza for 4 years, now that's what I call super restraint. I just love pizza and was making them using an asdas pitta bread as a base, it was a healthy extra but isn't now. I was given a recipe using smash asd a base but haven't tried it yet.
My pizza is a proper one with a proper HM bread base! I've made the dough and rolled out the pizza - it's about 11.5" diameter (I needed to make sure it was less than 12" as I recently bought a pizza stone of that size!
I was never a big pizza eater even before SW so not really super restraint!
I tried some of the smash based pizza at a taster morning a couple of months ago but have to say I wasn't really impressed with it. It certainly didn't make me think "I'll have to go home and make one of those" or even "I need to put that on my next menu plan".

You can use your 2 HEAs for cheese if that's what you want to do - there's nothing in the plan that says you can't, although I can never do that as I have to use one for milk in teas!
Your chilli haloumi sounds nice - how do you do it?

Dashing to visit (read that as check up) on parents but kebabs were fab and I'm stuffed. Think I may have gone slightly over on cheese as scales are broken so will count a couple of syns just in case!
Denise tonight I grilled it on skewers but usually just slice it and dry fry until golden but you've got yo keep your eye on it. Loving chilli halloumi from Aldi.
Also rustled up some muffin quiches. First time I've tried them as I hate cottage cheese but I used healthy living onion and chive and they're delicious. Tomorrow's lunch sorted!0 -
Evening all. Well done movers and shakers.
Lantanna, just sinking in (I'm slow, clearly) that you have lost 6st+ in just over a year - wow, wow, wow and more wow. That's fantastic. I'm taking the scenic route - just over 2 and a half stones in 3 years. I wish I had the will power to do better/faster, but I am happy that I'm heading in the right direction - just!
Anyway, Wednesday's Menu
Breakfast: French toast (hexb) with strawberries, raspberries and blueberries
Lunch: roast pork with mixed salad, lo salsa, mixed pickles and beetroot, grapes
Dinner: steak with chimichurri sauce, red & yellow peppers and new potatoes, WW caramel apple tart yogurt
