Well done tazzyb on your loss today.
Thank you so much everyone. You are a really inspiring bunch. I'm so grateful to all the people who replied when I was upset and wondering if it works.
I have looked at your signatures and can see you are losing lots of weight.
Thanks also for pointing out that I'm not eating enough veg. Actually I prefer veggie food, just don't like salad all that much.
Was delighted to hear that if you don't eat enough, your body starts to hold on to what it has!!!
I like to eat a lot but to be honest, am not great at cooking proper 'meals'.
Today:
breakfast couple of spoons of yoggidge (2 syns as using HEB for bread)
HE A soya milk in coffee at work
lunch baked potato low fat cottage cheese, salad and fat free dressing, sip of diet coke
dinner… just grazed… smoked salmon, home made scotch broth, toast and banana (toast is HEB), fat free hummus, broccoli, fat free yoghurt with spoon of honey (1 syn),
No wine - yay! Just sugar free juice and lots of water at hot yoga.
Body magic: went to hot yoga (fattest in the class, but hey ho, I'm not bothered!)
Thanks again for your responses, I have read and re-read them. Interesting that people aren't going mad on the carbs. Good idea maybe to limit them a bit. I'll try not to have a baked potato every day! You are all cooking 'proper' meals so I will try to too.
Great menu plan, cook most days, but for the odd cant be asked I love to graze, just fill the fridge up with free food and graze my way through it,Slimming World at target0 -

I eat carbs pretty much everyday, I love carbs - bread, potatoes and pasta specifically though I don't eat all of them every day if you see what I mean.
Had a lovely couple of days with wonder bairn and bf and am now ready to get my mojo sorted
Picking up my new car in a few hours which is very exciting
Plan for tomorrow;
breakfast: omelette bites with ham and baby plum tomatoes (no cheese), sliced apple, tea (milk from HeA)
Snack: satsuma
Lunch: pasta salad of some description with mint sauce (1 syn)
snack; sliced apple
Tea: I think salad with something - perhaps breaded turkey escalope for bf but ham for me, maybe a few wedges
Supper; HeB toast with jam (1syn)
Leaves a few syns for either a 2 finger kit kat (5.5syn) or a frozen curly wurly (6.5syn) if I really want a chocolate hit.
new grocery budget starts tomorrow (June felt like it dragged for ages) and with bf away the first week of July I'm going to stock up on fruit and veggies at Tuesdays market and make some soup for whilst he's away - fruit wise I'm thinking: pineapple, melon, apples, strawberries, satsumas, bananas************************************

I've just read back the last couple of pages and really glad to see the meal plans. I'm on day 2 and I've eaten loads of lovely food and I was starting to get a little worried that I'd gone overboard!
I did check against the book and I know I've eaten loads of fruit and veg included in that but it just feels a bit weird to be on a diet and eat more than normal :-)
What I haven't eaten is I guess far more important - no snacking on crisps or my personal favourite of white bread with loads of butter. More of a savoury snacker normally but I've managed to eat fruit today instead!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

I won Diamond Member of the Year at my Group this morning; didn't really know it was taking place but consultant just asked if I wanted to be included in the vote! Was really surprised - the prize of a bottle of reduced alcohol was very welcome (16.5 syns for the bottle!)

Good Morning!
Knew this thread existed but only able to come here now I've been to my first class! Joined SW last night so no losses to report, just know how bad the start weight is :-(
I'm going to be looking through the books today and work out what I need to swap out in my diet and what to stock up on so I can fill up on free foods. Already got some fruit and veg in. I guess I also need to work out what I normally have that is syn heavy.
Not sure about the HEx foods either, I've got loads of them to use (sorry, probably not a normal issue to have!) because I'm veggie and breastfeeding a non-weaned baby. Hoping that will help me because I can't stand black coffee or tea so I really need the milk! That would be a step too far for me.
Welcome to the thread CrabappleDon't worry a jot about the start weight, you won't be seeing that on the scales ever again
Cor, you lot can't half natter on. Took my Mum away for a few days and there's about 5 pages of chat. I can't get through it all, so will just say, good luck to anyone with weigh-in today or tomorrow. Stay strong, you can do it because it really does work. All you have to do is follow the plan, simples :j
Ooh congratulations joedenise, don't drink it all at onceI let my mind wander and it never came back!0
