Hi Lantanna, thanks for your kind words. It's been three years since I've been widowed and although I've had happy moments and my sons keep me on my toes:D I've generally just felt blah!
I think it's finally sunk in I can't change anything no matter how much I wish I could so I need to change the way I deal wtih things, how I respond, react and behave. I can be a bit overly sensitive and analyse everything to death!
My friend and I've been mates for over 28 years and she just makes me smile. She's a real character and always very, very positive. So a combination of lots of sunshine and laughter, good food, LOTS of wine, good chat and a wee chat with myself has given me a boost.
Now for the hard part - to keep it going!!
I love reading your messages lantanna, you've done fantastically well and not far to go now:T Your gym efforts scare the living daylights out of me though!0 -

Are you sure you aren't me??? That is exactly how I am - my little brain just needs a rest at times from all my overanalysing and fretting!! What you say is so true and very wise words!

They scare the living day lights out of me as well - but I guess when I'm on it I'm on it - there is no middle ground with me - It's either all or nothing!!
As for my messages sometimes they are little rants but I am glad they entertain!!
I'm having a good day I got told I would put someone in mind of Cheryl Cole and whilst this is so not true I am delighted by the compliment!!

Change of plan for dinner tonight! Have decided to do a vegetable risotto using celery, leek, peppers & mushrooms. Think it'll be nicer than a jacket potato with beans and also a bit more filling, particularly for DH after a day's work.
Have also made a mini crustless quiches to snack on.

It's always so, so encouraging to see how many people in this thread have lost masses of weight and how many are nearing target :T:T0

Well, I weighed in this morning and am extremely happy to report a loss of 3 3/4lb for the chart please Shala. This actually brings me to my major target. I have been doing SW for exactly a year now. I started at 15 stone 13lb and was in the Obese weight range. I am now 12 stone 3 3/14 and am in the "normal" weight range. :j

BUT really hurt my back and been totally off plan since yesterday due to not being able to cook or go out shopping
Had two takeaways on top of a load of grab and go junk.
Been more mobile today, so am turning over a new leaf as of this morning, not managed to get out shopping yet though.
Breakfast - Mushroom omelette with frozen mushrooms, did not enjoy. Spaghetti hoops on toast after that.
Dinner - Deli box noodles
Tea - 2 quorn sausages and a tin of mushy peas
SFs - Mushrooms, 2 kiwis, 1/4 of a pineapple and an apple.
Probably not enough but I'm working with what I have here.
6 litres of water , one glass of sprite zero and 2 cups of tea
Syns - 1.5 deli box, 2 sausages, 1 packet cheese curls 3.5
Body magic - Hobbling round bent over like my 90 year old grandmother0
