    afternoon all
Well it seems that my little indiscretion yesterday hasn't done too much harm. I'm aiming to try and get to just a 1lb gain for WI tomorrow. And quite frankly if I manage that I will be thrilled :D
Been to look at some laptops today. Ive seen the one I want to get so Im hoping that will happen v. soon :) cant come quick enough!!
Thankfully given our lack of tumble dryer the weather has been beautiful again - only downside to that is the washing has gone crispy :D
Right so today's menu then - tis EE.
B - SW fry-up - bacon with all fat removed, fried eggs, and 2 Linda McCartney Italian sausages (1 syn) cooked with Frylight, tinned tomatoes. 2 kiwis. NAS cordial
L: Big mixed salad with sweet chilli chicken chunks and sliced gherkins, 2 tbsps. Tesco Healthy Living Sweet Chilli dressing.(1 syn) Bottle of plain mineral water. Frappucino with HEXA semi skimmed, pear.
T: 2x chicken legs, one with Chicken Tonight Chicken Chasseur (3 syns) one plain, both with skin removed. A few Aunt Bessie's Midweek Mini Roasties (1.5 syns) steamed mixed veg. Eton Mess made with 3 Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Mini Meringue Nests (3 syns) fresh rasps, and 1 Mullerlight Greek Yoghurt (0.5 syns) NAS cordial
S: Bowl of baked beans (sounds weird but I always have them the night before WI!!)
    Syns: 10
Body Magic: well so far its 2 miles round the shops but I'm going out for a walk as soon as my phone is charged a bit and hopefully will add another 2 miles to that total.
Hope everyones ok and enjoying the sun xx

meg, what will you use the red & white cabbages for??

I've been thinking about buying some from Ald1 & eating them raw in a salad or making a coleslaw, but I'm not sure what to use instead of mayo for that. Does anyone know if Quark would work??

Hot drinks & a hot bath & I'm feeling a bit better so I haven't had to resort to the paracetamol yet.

    Weigh-in tomorrow.

Factory shop nearby had a rummage sale, all m and s stuff and bought loads, then went to George sale and finished off at matalan with my money off voucher. So I officially have clothes that fit. All size 10 tops and 12 bottom s plus a size 10 dress for hols and niece wedding. My new m and s knickers and bras in 34b make me feel like a new woman. I spent about £80ish but have 11 pants, 3 bras, 4 socks, 1 dress, smart trousers, blouse, 2 nice tops, jogger bottoms, pj s, nightie, so very pleased. Bought a few bits the other week (jeans, t shirt, gym stuff, cardigan) so albeit imited definitely ok now. Have "gone it alone" so feel money saved justifies spend :o)

At gym today managed a 2 mile run at a good pace, just feels like everything is brilliant. Another 2lb to be a healthy bmi with my goal being 12 away. :j I can't see myself more than a size smaller hence clothes buy. Just need to shift my flabby tummy.

Had actifry chips twice this week as just so gorgeous with loads of salt and vinegar, can't remember last time I had chips at home. Roasted potatoes in it today. May treat self to a proper recipe book.

I will use some of the cabbage cooked, I really like the red cabbage braised with apple, some in stirfry only need a carrot and a 50p bag of bean sprouts from asda. and coleslaw, for the mayo I use Hellmanns lighter than light which is only 1/2syn a tbs or just Kraft fat free Italian dressing which is free, but this is rather thin
so I sometimes mix with fat free yogurt also free.

Glad you are feeling a bit better. the cabbages are well worth getting at the price and are a good size.

I get a lot of meals from a cabbage and it keeps for weeks (I keep in meter cupboard outside) if you only take off the leaves you want at a time, it dosent last so long if you cut it.

Wow Helen that's a lot of new clothes for the money, well done
I am not at target yet so just buying a few cheap bits to tide me over but cant wait until I reach goal and can go proper shopping.

I bought a cheap actifry on ebay a few weeks back but it has backfired on me, heater element has blown, but will be looking out for another one as you say the chips as just gorgeous, its probably no wonder its blown though I think I have worn it out,
even had DD, DGD and a friend popping to sample them and DGS
now refuses chippy chips wants the healthy Nanny ones.

I've been searching internet for actifry recipes Meg, my best finds is the minimims site, just been jotting down ideas.

Felt did brilliant for my money, the rummage sale was very timely, was nervous that the stuff wouldn't fit (as its a no return no changing room affair) but was just to fabulous to miss. Fortunately every thing fits!

I've made coleslaw with Natural yoghurt before as I don't like mayonnaise or salad cream.

MegWell done on the new clothes. I've been buying off Ebay as don't want to spend too much as hopefully I'll need a new size soon, also it saves on the leg work when you don't have much energy. I measure myself each week so know my measurements and can double check against what I buy so not so much of a risk.
