Ooh what car are you getting?
We've been today and bought a little Ford Ka, only about 3.5/4 years old, in a nice bluenot the one we went for but a bit better spec and a colour rather than their off white - got it from where bf's middle brother works so got staff discount and a lower finance rate
Weighed today and the scales were very kind and gave me a STS! Well actually a 0.4lb loss but I'm declaring that a stay the same
Today is much better - even having a low syn option from the Chinese tonight for date nightwe are away Wednesday but back Thursday night which is when we are collecting the car eep! Hoping possibly driving round more frequently in my own car will help me feel more prepared for my test...might even take it in my car!

Lush - from memory if you take the driving test in your own car you have to buy and place the second mirror that learning cars have?
Meg nah I start with a bank of 105 for the week? I could eat all 105 on the last day of the week or the start of week. Mid week syn eating is direI like to have some in the bank
This week is a wash out though I thinkStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb
New Year New You Challenge - /6lb0 -
Hi all please may I pop in on this thread? Started SW a week and a half ago, my partner is also coming with me. At first he said it was just for support but now he has made it into this huge competitive thing! Glad we are doing it together though as we cook together more in the evening now and it is a great support.
I would ideally like to lose 6 stone but I have set my first interim target at 2 stone loss otherwise it would just be too big a number to think about.
My partner has set a target of 3 stone loss but not sure if this is an interim one or final one. When we first weighed in, he only weighed 5lbs more than me, I was mortified! As he is a good 6 inches taller than me at least!
First weigh in down, I lost 4lb and my partner lost 8lb. We weigh on a Thursday!
I would write a daily food diary but I tend to have the same sort of things on rotation so dont think there is much point. I am currently going through teeth whitening so cannot drink tea so been drinking just water and the odd sprite zero maybe twice a week.
Anyway glad to become part of you lot, and I will pop back regularly if that's OK!

Great loss Beanie
Does your Son add pickled onions to his soup too, I was really nervous about trying it as thought it would ruin my nice soup, but it really works. Going to make a batch up for my DD and DGD to try, It works out really cheap as well.
He doesent add the onions & I don't either at home.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Hello everyone, I just started slimming world again last week. Could I join you?
My first three days were good but difficult at lunchtime when I finish work as I don't have the energy to prepare anything. Apart from that good.
Yesterday was a write off as I had a whole bottle of wine. I'm wondering if I will still lose weight this week… I did go for a 24 mile cycle today but also has a pub roast.
Can anyone clarify how many syns I should put down for the pub roast lamb? I didn't eat the fat but it was cooked in gravy. Also I took boiled potatoes and veg with it but both seemed to have butter on them. The app seems to say that basic lamb roast is 12 syns but I also saw somewhere online that said a Sunday roast was a good low syn thing to have if you are eating out.
Hope you are all doing well.
Mildred have you lost 5 stone??? That is very inspiring!24.06.14 12 st 12 lb (waist 45" at fattest part of belly)

Hi all
Ugh I've been naughty again. 21 syns  I'm away so much at the moment that weight loss is impossible! (So it seems)
Thanks for the kind words all. Our dryer has gone kaput today- to add to my phone charger and laptop in the broken electricals in our house  dryer is less than a year old and this will be its second repair
Beanie- my PIP claim is into month 5 now- week 22 at the moment, nearly into week 23. Edging very close to that magic 26-week mark
I think the only good thing that has happened today is winning £15 on the quiz machine in the pubit was badly needed as I don't get my ESA till Thursday and I seriously thought I would have to raid my copper jar to pay my £4.95 on Monday!
I haven't really eaten anything majorly bad it's just a case of too many things adding up- and I haven't felt very well either so haven't walked it off. Will force myself out tomorrow!
Here's the syn-laden menu(EE)
B: HEXB Alpen Light bars, NAS cordial
L: Quorn cottage pie (5 syns)big salad, Frappucino with HEXA s/s
T: lean mince (the new labelled one, less than 5%) passata, uncle Ben's rice (2.5 syns) chicken chunks, 2 WW wraps (9 syns ) fresh strawberries, Mullerlight
S: becks blue (2.5) diet coke, cheese twist (2)
Think I'm going to have to flexi syn. I'm going to have a great big gain on Monday but what can I do?!
