Hi, lots of you have been happy hunting this weekend. Well done on your purchases.

Actifry def sounds tempting, but I have so little worktop/cupboard space, I'll have to give it an awful lot of thought before I take the plunge. Sorry you'll be without for a wee while meg, you'll really miss it meantime, by the sounds of things.

Another lovely day here. I went out with my friend and we had lunch at the garden centre in between browsing and buying a heap of plants.

    So, Sunday's Menu
Breakfast: hexb porridge made with water, 35ml hexa milk on top (yes, I did measure it on the scales, lol), a banana
Lunch: prawn mayo jacket (2 syns for mayo, although there wasn't much of it) , salad and (whisper it) ...... a piece of coffee walnut cake, my social eating strikes again! No idea of syns.
Dinner: baked cod, roasted new potatoes (used 1 tblsp extra virgin olive oil for 2 portions = 3 syns for me), green beans, Hartley's 10 jelly (0.5 syn)

Total syns: 5.5 + cake syns so I'll write off all todays syns + the syns I'd saved from earlier in the week.
Syns Bank Balance: 15 for 1 day

I'll have fruit and a couple of mini babybel light (remaining hexa) later tonight.

Off to watch the rest of today's football now :)

Back from a great weekend in Wales with sunshine all the way.

Ooh, where about in Wales is this place, it sounds yummy? My daughter is at Uni in Bangor, and graduates next year so we will be down that way. It would be nice to visit as a treat.

Durham_Mim, the shop is in Tywyn and well worth a visit! Ice Cream Shop

I restrained myself and only had a single cone!

Face is a tad red from riding in the sun (guess who forgot sun cream?)

Fingers crossed, no damage done - all will be revealed at WI in the morning.

Just had a big roast dinner and used all my Syns on stuffing, gravy and a bit of skin. Just talked myself out of having a toffee crisp! Feel stuffed and am not hungry, just want. No !

Did my fitness ball workout this morning, had egg on toast for breakfast then a big fruit salad and muller light for lunch. Spent the rest of the day parked in front of the fan, so hot!

We've been today and bought a little Ford Ka, only about 3.5/4 years old, in a nice blue :) not the one we went for but a bit better spec and a colour rather than their off white - got it from where bf's middle brother works so got staff discount and a lower finance rate :)

Bargain :) Hope you enjoy it. We should be getting a new car next month, have a ten year old 206 at the mo. Love it though!

Well done everyone, great reading all your news and food plans!

Friday I went to the races with friends and between us we had three bottles of Prosecco so that means I had a whole bottle of Prosecco. I just couldn't resist :(
Saturday did a 24 mile cycle - hopefully that will have burnt off the Prosecco? Had a roast dinner out but apart from that SW all day.
Today: eggs, smoked salmon, baked potato, cheese (syns), home made fat free hummus, home made fat free aubergine dip, home made fat free chicken tikka masala, diet coke, muller light, banana.

Also did my first 20 mins of Couch to 5k!!!!!!
It was 20 mins of mainly walking with 8 bursts of 60 seconds running. So proud of myself!!

Really hope I lose weight despite the bottle of wine on Friday and the fact that I have a wine tasting tomorrow. Been booked for it for over a month with friends and don't feel I can pull out of it.

Since I lost weight I seriously don't feel the heat as much :/
I was sat huddled under a towel today in the garden while everyone else was in vests and shorts :/
I think my blubber layer has gone
    I'm expecting plus 2 tomorrow...

Straightening my hair so to stay me straying into the cupboards :(

Thank you meg & durham_mim for the cabbage/coleslaw info :)

meg, what a shame about your actifry. I suppose you can look at it as being a cheap trial. If you had bought one full price & hated it that would have been awful ~ at least you know you love it.

hostie, well done on your first 20 minutes of Cto5k. That is something I would really like to do, just need to get some major scaffolding first though :rotfl:

Some fantastic weight losses on here (I don't know everyone, but HDK & Mildredd spring to mind & I'm sure there are others).

And on that note, I lost 4lbs this week!! :j I still feel ill this morning but that has really cheered me up!! :D

    B - branflakes (HEB1), blueberries & raspberries, greek yoghurt (3.5 syns)
L - HM lentil & veg soup. Baked potato with cottage cheese & salad
    D - 2 x soft boiled eggs, baked beans on 2 x toast (HEB2) & grated cheese (HEA1)

Have a great day everyone :)
