    Fingers crossed for you Latanna.

Have just made what I think is this simplest soup I have ever made, its just 1 tin tomatoes, 1 tin baked beans and one tin carrots. The person who gave it me said not to drain the carrots but I did so less salt, just added a bit of water. It is really nice and makes loads, I think next time though might include a couple of stalks of celery.

Hi all, sorry for being MIA a bit this week!

Passed my theory so that's a weight off my mind but yesterday I didn't eat enough - just an apple, couple of chocolate fingers and a small snack from KFC :/ not enough and not the best but sometimes situations have to dictate what I eat as there is such limited options :(

    Today so far/plan:
breakfast: mushroom and cherry tomato omelette
Lunch: beans on toast (HeB) , fruit/veg snacks
tea: chicken and lean bacon topped with cheese (HeA), pile of mixed veggies, mash (no fat/milk), poached egg/s

Need to turn it around and refocus. Had wanted 2lb off this week but as long as I can salvage whats left after a few bad days I'll be happy enough!

Weigh in tonight - I have been REALLY good all week, but dont feel like I've lost any....we will see!

My leader told me that saving syns wasn't 'allowed'?? but I have noticed that several people have got them banked?
Married the absolute love of my life on Sunday May 6th and I couldnt be happier!!!

I guess this is just different opinions, my consultant says its OK , she does it, my own thought is that it makes sense, if you know you are going to be in a situation where you will be tempted, party, buffet, take a way etc, then its better to hae a few in the bank, rather than go over and try clawing it back.

Well done losers:T will post the chart again later..

Good luck for weigh in Lantanna and congrats LLS for passing you theory :j:j

I'm on my 4th day of behaving so i'm pleased :T managed to lose 3 of my 6lbs i'd put back on :o

I've kind of applied some rules to myself to try and keep on the straight and narrow, will type them up incase it can help anyone else
    • write down WHY you want to lose weight - read it a few times a day to remind yourself
    • if you're tempted by off-plan food then read your reasons - are they more important or is the food more important?
    • plan meals the night before and stick to it, don't eat anything off plan - if you want bad food then plan it for the next day, chances are by then you won't want it
    • congratulate yourself for a doing well, if you've stuck to plan or turned down a biscuit then acknowledge it and feel proud - do this everyday not just when you've lost weight
    • it's ok to be hungry for a bit (i know this isn't a SW thing but i want to learn how to eat properly again and filling myself up till i'm stuffed isn't a good thing)
I don't know if those sound a bit preachy but they've definitely helped me this week, i've turned down a greggs and everything!! :rotfl:

The big one for me is the "is food more important than being thin" thing.. i'm very good at being in denial about how big i am so it really makes me think before i stuff my face and acknowledge that i'm not where i want or need to be..

Anyway that was all a bit deep for a Thursday lunch time wasn't it! :rotfl:

    Hope everyone's ok..

If you add a couple of pickled onions (I kid you not!) it will taste just like Heinz tomato soup:D. Our consultant made this one morning at group, just opened the cans, tipped them into a blender and blitzed then heated up in the microwave in a jug.

The official SW line is it's not allowed, however, my consultant says whatever works for you is fine. She always says that you should start off using your 5-15 syns a day until you know how the plan works; she also says "It seems to work for some people but not everyone."

Sorry for so many posts but I was replying to different posts and if I didn't do it as I go along I'd get lost!!!

I weighed in this morning and maintained. I'm pleased about that as I definitely had far too many syns at the weekend and didn't really leave enough for Monday to Wednesday.

I'm away again this weekend (I love having the motorhome so we can get away so often) so have decided I'm going to be a bit more restrained with the wine this weekend so I have a few more syns for Monday to Wednesday.

Having yet another EE day today:

    B - banana after WI
L - Sweet chilli prawns & noodles (1 syn) (recipe in this month's magazine). Made loads and DH took some with him to work for his lunch and there is enough left for both of us to have the same again tomorrow.
D - Sweet & sour pork using up the last of the LO roast pork, HM sweet & sour sauce (1 syn) with rice. Will stir fry some veg and then add the pork and sauce to reheat

HEA - milk in teas throughout the day
HEB - not decided yet but may have some 2 Ryvitas & cheese this evening and an Alpen Light (3 syns for 20g of cheese)

May also have a fruit split lolly - 3 syns. So syns will be somewhere between 5 and 8!
