I don't want to be busy making stuff for that time, and do want to sit and have a break with a cuppa and bite to eat if possible. Just need to plan it better.
Sary, I don't get a break as such due to the hours I work.
I can take time between cases to eat and as such, currently, I take a big salad box to work and nibble at it for an hour.
Tomorrow's is leftover chicken, pickled onions, gherkins, beetroot, peppers, tomatoes, lettuce and cucumber. I also have a lot of tuna pasta, SW quiche and various meats and eggs, with salad, that I prepare the night before.
In the winter, I prefer warm foods generally and stick with soups, leftovers or take in prebaked potatoes and a filling that take a couple of minutes to reheat.0 -
Happy to report a 1 lb loss.better than gaining.0

Today is not going so well; I had a very tough night with a bad stomach and this head cold that evolved yesterday and today has been bad with the cold too - I was up from 5 with wonder bairn so tuned in to the live link for bf's last game but then forgot to eat so by 8.30 I felt dreadful and ending up forcing down my cereal, i baked bf's cupcakes (haven't even tried one!) and am about to haul myself to the kitchen to fill and frost them, didn't have my lunch until gone 14.00 and I can't even bring myself to think about an evening meal at the moment
Struggling to even drink anything currentlyhopefully i will feel better super soon as I have a driving lesson at 08.30 tomorrow and then we are taking bf's car to be serviced.
Hope you're feeling better today lushoutoffunds wrote: »Just a quick pop in to report a 1.5 lb loss for this week of the challenge Thanks Shala Moo.

What's the general consensus on white jeans? I've got a pair but I don't seem to wear them much.
I love my white jeans but Matalan also do crinkle-finish wide legged trousers that are very comfy and holiday-like. They're cheap too
Welcome to the thread, Sugarpuss and Campercomper :hello:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Shala – I think being fed up is going round us all at the minute!
Well done Becks for losing with all of that going on!! Hope your little girl doesn’t mind the cast too much!
Topgirl – that sounds like an amazing weekend foodwise!! Hope you enjoyed!
Wine, fish and chips and too much bread over the weekend - so on the claw back til thurs.
Did do a 5 mile walk yesterday though. Gym tonight.
Bit fed up today as usual!!

Shame that your outing was scuppered. Weather still good here.
When I was getting to target I bought an absolute minimum of new clothes and those that I did buy were either cheap (Asda/Matalan) or from CSs. CS helped me to experiment with colour as when I was fat I mostly wore black from head to toe.

Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: I've got fruit to eat up, so probably a bit of SW friendly grazing!roast beef, roast parsnips and potatoes, carrots, cauli, broccoli
Syns: squirt of syrup, gravy, maybe horseradish and weekend wine:D
Thanks Maman that's a great idea for experimenting with colour,
like you I normally stick to black or grey, the trouble is I haven't bothered for so long that I really don't know what suits me now
so will visit a few charity shops and try stuff on.
Have been really good this week and hoping for a loss tomorrow.
I like the NAS sugar Ribena but hae found Asdas NAS lime and lemon and think I prefer it its quite sharp and clean tasting. Its also much cheaperSlimming World at target0 -

Hi All
Sorry to have been M.I.A. I've struggled this week as I've lost my SW mojo. Mostly kept to plan, though meals were a bit hap hazard and unplanned, which is always bad. Also went to see a friend on Friday and they presented me with a freshly baked white loaf whose smell tortured me in the car on the way home and was punished by being eaten with homemade rhubarb and vanilla jam!
Also been at the cake tin as I had off cuts from a vanilla cake and a lemon cake that I had made for a friend at work. These might have been accompanied by smears of left over butter cream too!
So, reporting a gain of 1/4lb for the challenge Shala All my own fault and could have been much, much worse.
Off to look behind the sofa for my motivation!0 -

Oh My if I thought I would only again 1/4lb I would get the breadmaker out, lol, but sadly I know bread (and butter) was my downfall I`d gain a LB just looking at it so out with Ryvita, sniff, sniff) for me.Slimming World at target0 -
Morning everyone and welcome to the newbies.
Bit later than usual posting my mealplan as had a Dr's appointment this morning and had to walk as DH took the car this morning as his scooter has a puncture! As I live at the top of a cliff and suffer from COPD the walk back up is a nightmare! Still at least I got some BM today!!!
Green day for me today:
B - weetabix/milk - HEA1/HEB1; banana
L - beans on toast - HEB2
D - Butternut squash, lentil & chickpea curry/rice; may also do some bombay potatoes but not sure yet.
HEA2 will also be milk - in tea throughout the day.
Was really bad with syns over the weekend so only have 14.5 to last until WI on Thursday morning so syns will be limited until then.
Not sure what Im having today but will probably have a fruit split lolly for 3 this evening. Don't think I'll need any more than that.
