Had a huge bowl of strawberries and yogurt god breakfast. Just a hifi for lunch, wasn't hungry. Iced coffee just now, and roast lamb for dinner. Maybe a toffee crisp too!

Planning on walking to and from work tomorrow- 4.5 miles in all.

Hi everyone, would love to join in if possible. I've been reading your wonderfully supportive thread for about a week now. I first started sw about 3 years ago and lost nearly a two stone but I then left my job to become a respite foster carer. I got back into cooking and baking and eating what I'd cooked consequently I put it all back on plus another stone and a half. My own fault! Anyway earlier this year I decided enough was enough and got my old books out and started again. Unfortunately my dad died a few weeks later in February and all went to pot. It's been a strange few months but decided I needed the structure of a weekly weigh in to keep me focused so I started back to group at th he end of April. It's coming off slowly and I've lost half a stone and I'm happy with that. I have about 4 stone to loose so a long way to go. Thanks again for the support from you lovely people, you may not have known that it has helped me but it surely has.

Evening all, I'm not fully up to date with the thread, but have just quickly skimmed the last 3 pages. Hope you're all OK. Time is still a bit to short for me to fully take part, so sorry if I'm not fully up to speed with all things with you. Thinking of you all, even if I'm not here daily right now. I'm sure I will get into a better routine soon.

The week went okay, but the weekend has been VERY bad foodwise. I won't mention what I've eaten, as I think it's a bit unfair on those being really good and sticking on plan. It's * week for me, 2 months overdue, so have felt a bit carp tbh. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. Today's takeaway dinner was a treat for OH for father's day. I know I didn't have to indulge too, but I just am weak and couldn't resist. Promise to try harder next week. Am finding lunches the hardest to know what to have, so have been just having a sandwich or something on toast when I nip home for half an hour. I don't want to be busy making stuff for that time, and do want to sit and have a break with a cuppa and bite to eat if possible. Just need to plan it better.

Will try to plan meals for us all a bit better too. I have stuff in the freezer, but again it's time once I'm home from work to make things, and again, not wanting to waste hours in the kitchen when I have lots of other stuff to do. Have spent most of the weekend cleaning, and sorting through a build up of stuff that has either been put out for charity, or photographed and ebayed. Trying to be productive, whilst also trying to get some rest, as OH is still waking us up very early right now, so have felt very tired, plus getting into a routine with the new job.

Thanks for the chart Shala - not hopeful for WI tomorrow. Fully expecting a gain :(

Will try to keep reading every night this week if I can. Keep plodding!

  • Hugs for all those not completely 100% at the moment,

anybody know what to do with an artichoke thats sw friendly? Got one in the market veg box this week and have never used a whole one before - a quick google involved making dips for it all very mayo/cream based so if anybody has got any ideas i would be most grateful!
