Hi consultant, thanks for your comments re post WI treats. I agree completely - I can have a treat any time I like with SW. My problem is that when I do indulge, I over indulge! I have no stop switch.

I understand the 'no stop switch', I don't have one either :o
reporting in with a loss of 2lbs please and i got my half stone award !!
really pleased its going down , and still not smoking too !! 7 months now

Well done, losing weight is never easy and to do it after quitting smoking is doubly good :T

Thank God for you Maman, I thought it was just me who looked at magazines and taglines and thought if she's a size zero, I'm a coconut... figured I was just being an itch with a b :o

    Is NAS Ribena free then?

Just had breakfast and drinking my green tea now.

Question: is it so good for weight loss because after drinking a whole cup of this, you never want to put anything in your mouth again? :o

Lol, I actually like green tea, but I know it's an acquired taste. I don't like ordinary tea so that's perhaps a factor in my liking it. I just bought a Salted Caramel Green Tea, but I have to say, I'm not completely sold on it yet :(

Please-let-me-be-lucky, your Mum sounds completely tactless at best. Sometimes they seem to think they can say just what they want because you know they love you so you won't take offence ;)

    Folks,

    Question for you all!!!

When should I stop losing weight???

I am getting seriously frustrated by the amount of people that are making comments about me being skin and bone and don't be going too far! etc  and now I'm starting to worry about it. I've always been one of those people that weighs more than people think I do I guess - but I don't know what to do. My face is looking a little on the tiny side today...........

My BMI is 0.5 off the normal weight category.

I'm 5.4 and 10.9st and of medium build. I have 34 E boobs  so I am definitely not slight lol . I carry all of the weight around my belly - I have skinny arms and legs and not much of a bum. My stomach is pretty much a mess after losing all this weight and for being overweight for so long - don't think It will ever be flat but I can still grab a good handful and I have the remains of a shelf! Sorry to be rude but those with one will know all about it! And I hate it...........I can cope with the rest of me but the belly is hateful!!

I also think you should ignore other people's opinion. Smile sweetly at them and go your own way :)

Sometimes I think that going that little bit lower can be harder to maintain (which in itself will sap your confidence) but you won't know till you try. Your 'love-handles will take some shifting (if mine are anything to go by) but my DD assures me that "planking" is good and the "shred". I am of an age to not even want to know what they are :rotfl:

    Well, I am definitely jinxed.

Best laid plans scuppered again. This afternoon OH's car broke and has had to go to overnight at garage for urgent repair. This caused all sorts of issues for us and led to fish suppers. In mitigation, I shared mine with my DGS (usually cat gets some, but she was mia). So no point posting rest of today's menu.

Tomorrow I have hairdresser am, and will have to take OH to get his car from garage (it's in a nearby town and there is no public transport from here to there), assuming it's ready. I'll prep evening meal as soon as I get back from salon, in the hope of circumventing any more straying from plan. OH has bowls again at 6.00pm, so have to be organised. Then I'm out at friend's in the evening - should be safe enough there (famous last words).

I love rural living, but it has its drawbacks from time to time.

Sorry for the moan again; I just feel as though nothing is going to plan at all. I just feel harrassed. Never mind, World Cup is on and I do love my football ;) so that should cheer me up. I am always a right miseryguts when it's the close season. Roll on the pre season friendlies, so I can get a shout and release any tensions.

    Night all.

If you look online it says Alpen Light summer fruit, 19g bar is only 2.5 syns which is strange as it is 70 cals and the same calories as the other bars.

Lemon drizzle, cherry bakewell, double chocolate and chocolate and fudge are 3 syns each and apple and sultana are 2.5 syns each

Thanks Tracy for looking I will have a look myself to confirm.:T

My first day on the EE plan:

    B: Bacon, mushrooms, beans

Snack: 2 X Alpen Lights (HexB?)
    HexA: 250ml semi-skimmed milk

L: Missed it as I had a meeting - had a banana, apple and orange mid-afternoon.

D: Just waiting for the cottage pie from the SW website to cook, with kale. Should have enough for lunch tomorrow as well. Will syn the reduced-fat Cheddar to go on the mash.

Drinks: 4 coffees, lots of water.

Does this look okay? I didn't have time to read much before I kicked off this morning, so I'm flying by the seat of my pants at the moment.

Pleasantly surprised at how unhungry and calm I am - that's never happened before on a lowfat diet. Normally I'm craving some cheese by now.

What's the story with Muller Lights eg. toffee? How many syns?

Muller Light toffee yogurt is free!

You're EE menu looks fine to me as far as I can tell.

Your fruity lunch balanced off the breakfast only having mushrooms (although you may have had loads of mushrooms;)) so plenty of SFs across the day.

I got really peckish tonight so ended up with JP about 11pm! I did put about 2 syns worth of spread on it and had a load of beetroot. So that's 4 meals today.:)

Off in the motorhome again this weekend - really looking forward to it as haven't been away for a couple of weekends so don't feel as thought we've really had a break as both weekends we were at DD1s helping her sort out her garden and sorting out a load of paperwork, most of which needed shredding!

Another EE day for me today:

    B - mushroom omlette
L - Prawn & sweet chilli noodle salad (from July magazine) - 1.5 syns
D - beefburger in roll with lettuce, tomato, gherkins. Might have a cheese slice (will need to check syns) but depends on whether I can be bothered to go and buy some!

    HEA - milk
    HEB - roll
Syns - sweet chilli sauce 1.5; cheese slice ?; weekend alcohol.

Going to stay on plan foodwise over the weekend but will probably go over on syns with alcohol and then need to rein it in again during the week.

Have a good weekend everyone. Not sure whether I'll manage to get online over the weekend.

    Denise
