    Hi all

I think I am becoming a bit obsessed with healthy eating at the moment. There are several birthdays at work this week so instead of bringing in cakes they are doing a buffet lunch tomorrow. I am trying to tell myself that it will ok NOT to take lunch in tomorrow as there will be loads of stuff I can eat.

    Will report back later.

I've been lay in bed about an hour without doing much so figured i'd think ahead to a possible menu for tomorrow

breakfast:i'm thinking toasted kingsmill great white (60g measured HeB) with poached egg or cereal and milk, cup of tea. melon chunks, peeled apple
lunch: jacket potato with ham and salad - lettuce, tomato, cucumber, beetroot, boiled egg
    snack: honey monster stix x1 = 3syn
tea - spag bol from freezer - loaded with veggies but it's about 5 syns for the sauce, garlic bread x 1 = 4.5sy
    HeA = milk

Hi consultant, thanks for your comments re post WI treats. I agree completely - I can have a treat any time I like with SW. My problem is that when I do indulge, I over indulge! I have no stop switch.

Well OH was out all day today so it started well again.

    Breakfast: bacon, egg, tomatoes, beans

Lunch: Hexb toast, hexa cheddar, tomatoes and basil, ML banana& custard with a nectarine

Dinner: confession time - I had collected DGS from school and took him home to wait until his mum/dad (whoever got in first) got home from work. I had a Tunnocks tea cake while waiting (5.5 syns) Of course dad was working late, and mum missed her bus, so it was almost 6 when she got home. OH had been doing the same duty with other DGS in another town. When he found out I'd be late and itd be almost 7 by the time we ate, he went and got take away for us on his way home, so I had a giant chicken burger and chips (I left half of these).
So again I let myself be scuppered :(>:)

snack: mars ice cream bar (7 syns)

Sorry for being so weak willed. I need a kick up the proverbial.

Hope you're all doing better than me.

I've taken a sneaky few minutes at work this morning and attempted a meal plan for the coming week and written up a shopping list. Thanks to everyone who's posted NAS Ribena on their menus. I've bought a bottle as I need to up my fluid intake and forgot just how fab it is!

Planning has to be one of the best ways forward jb. IMO that and plenty of SFs are the secrets to SW.

I'm always very dehydrated in the mornings and used to have a huge glass of orange juice but the syns and sugar meant I banned it instantly when I started on SW. NAS Ribena is the best substitute I've found. I have a large glass with breakfast but also find it good with hot water instead of milk in tea when I want to keep my HEA down to have cheese in a recipe. I really don't like sweet tasting soft drinks and Ribena's the best I've found so far. Any other suggestions greatly appreciated.:)

    Question for you all!!!

When should I stop losing weight???
I'm 5.4 and 10.9st and of medium build. I have 34 E boobs  so I am definitely not slight lol .

I was wanting to go down to 9 stone 13 to get the whole 7 stone weightloss but now I don't know. I also am in love with the idea of being 9 stone anything. .....

Has anyone else had this problem - Maman / JoeDenise?? Its bizarre that I am now worrying about when to stop losing weight??? I never thought I'd get here!!!

    I'm a dress size 12 - a 10 in some things.
Any thoughts - sorry for ranting but if one more person comes off with one of these cheeky comments I'll crack!!

My family are of mixed opinion and it is becoming a bone of contention!!!

How did you know what your target was / or know what it will be???

I hate reading in all these mags that people like Michelle Keegan / Cheryl Cole etc are like 8 stone soaking wet - it makes me feel like a total Helfalump :(

    Sorry for the ranting :rotfl:

First, don't apologise for ranting. That's one of the great things about the thread. I'd ignore all the stuff about Cheryl Cole et al as I'm always amazed about what I read about dress sizes compared wit weight. That doesn't just go for celebrities either it's the same with even SW magazine.

My target weight is 10st 7 (although I hover below that) and it was a number I conjured out of the air at my first SW meeting. It was a weight I'd been happy with years ago and seemed an impossible goal at the time. When I was younger I was closer to 9.5/10 stone. BUT I'm 5ft 9 and strangely enough like you I'm a standard size 12 and a 10 on certain styles and brands too. What I'd say is ignore what family and friends think, this is about what you feel happy with. I've avoided going lower as I'm older than you and don't want scraggy arms, legs and neck but if I was younger I'd go for 9 stone something even if it meant a bit of BM to get toned.
    Evening all
After my unexpected gain last night I thought I would keep a diary and then post on here in case I've made a booboo
    B - quark, frozen berries 2scan bran(2)
L - salad, SW chicken and pasta (free) ml yogurt
    Snack -apple, ml yog
D - salad, ham, jacket potato, small squirt of salad cream (1), clover (1) ml yog
    Water intake 2.6 litres
BM 30 min walk with dog
    2xguylain chocs (6)

Annie, It's hard to advise without knowing which plan you're doing but it's a great idea to keep a diary and post it on here. It looks like EE but, if so, what are your HEXs? Don't understand why you seem to have synned the Scanban and where is your HEA (milk/cheese).

I had a very greedy off plan lunch today but haven't eaten since. Back on the wagon tomorrow.;)

    Hi all
Just running in quickly- only got back off hols at 3.30 this afternoon and went to WI at my consultants other group tonight  well you can imagine what the result was- 3.5 gain :o my clothes all feel horrifically tight so better get this gain off ASAP methinks..
Still I've had a lovely holiday and eaten some lovely (although very very naughty) food! I did feel guilty but as my mum said you don't go on holiday to pick at a salad with no dressing and drink water do you? I know the general advice is to eat steak or pasta when you eat out but I don't eat either so hence the fact I just don't usually eat out- however my mum put 6lbs on after one holiday so I suppose I should count my blessings :D

I'm sure you'll be fine and I agree with your mum.

Saw in an FB group someone gained 8lb on holiday  and lost 5lb the week after, thus making their holiday only a 3lb gain really.

Thank God for you Maman, I thought it was just me who looked at magazines and taglines and thought if she's a size zero, I'm a coconut... figured I was just being an itch with a b :o

    Is NAS Ribena free then?

Just had breakfast and drinking my green tea now.

Question: is it so good for weight loss because after drinking a whole cup of this, you never want to put anything in your mouth again? :o
