Had a lovely day out yesterday, the sun shone and it was warm. I behaved myself eating wise too. I had 3 sugar free sweets whilst travelling, then at Harvester I had in addition to the free salad, grilled chicken breast, basmati rice, peas, & piri piri sauce. I had a sugar free drink and for dessert had a Sundae best. I walked about a mile throughout the day so I'm hoping that will counter balance any syns from the Sundae.

    EE Menu:

B: Shreddies & Liberte ff yoghurt.
L: Lean Ham, XL Laughing cow triangle, salad. Fruit.
D: Turkey & Pasta Bake. Salad.

    Milk for tea.
    BM: 1 hr Callanetics

Feeling a bit despondent about my weight today. I seem to yo-yo
between 11st 10lb and 11st 7lb, and this has been going on for months. I'm so afraid of putting on all the weight I have lost, because even though I'm sticking to plan, I'm not seeing results. It does say in my Callanetics book to ignore the scales as muscle weighs more than fat and my shape does seem to be changing even though it is not showing on either scales or tape measure. I'm determined to keep up with the exercise as I want to be toned as I lose weight and not have loads of flappy skin. It doesn't help when my DH who has lost loads of weight on SW says, 'well you can't be doing it right' whenever I gain/ don't lose weight.

I've never been one for treats after WI and I agree with consultant that SW food can be delicious and plentiful enough not to need that. The trade in that I've made is that as it's so difficult to have a meal out completely on plan I have that as a treat instead and get back on the wagon ASAP. Unfortunately some weeks there are too many of those occasions and this is one of them.

I am saying this as a target member though. SW would prefer I stayed on plan and had a few extra HEXs. When getting to plan I was very conscientious about having steaks and plain jackets, taking skin of chicken and having no dressing on salads and generally being as careful as possible.

I'm out for lunch today but I have had a SW breakfast.:o

Sorry to hear you're frustrated durham_mim

I've been having a real confidence crisis the past three/four weeks. I gave myself plenty of time after the birth of wonder bairn to get settled and then ease myself back in to better eating etc hoping I would see some good progress to get back to around my old target and I had a great first week, then an ok week and since then I'm really struggling :/

It seems I struggle to eat enough during the day then battle the sugar cravings just before bed.

I need to shift another 2 stone to be back at a happy, confident weight. Right now i think I am the least happy i have ever been with my body/weight and that includes the times i was heaviest before SW:(

    Hoh hum just keep plodding and all that;

Breakfast: 3 egg omelette (mushroom and tomato) and leftover rosti, tea (milk from HeA)
lunch: not sure yet - maybe a ham salad sandwich as I need a HeB
Snack: choc chip snack a jack (3syn) and tea (milk from HeA)
Tea: i think a baked chicken breast with wedges and salad/mixed veggies and corn on the cob

Off to the post office and to pick up fil's father's day present so I will also get some fruit and I need cash for playgroup tomorrow. Should be a walk of just over a mile, will head out once I've fed wonder bairn and got her dressed

    1 lb is a good loss meg72.

Yes you are right Beanie and I know I shouldn't really moan about it, I have just taken 2 packs of butter out of the freezer to give to a neighbour, and it struck me that they are a 1lb in weight so its quite a chunk off. I am just impatient I have just 12lbs to lose now and I want it GONE, OMG just pictured 24 packs of butter

Feeling more positive today and have made a big pot of soup with reduced veg got last night, a bowl of fruit salad, also reduced, and boiled 6 half price eggs the lot has only cost £2. happy with that

Well a -1 lb loss for me last night:) Was happy with that considering the last two weeks.

I've taken a sneaky few minutes at work this morning and attempted a meal plan for the coming week and written up a shopping list. Thanks to everyone who's posted NAS Ribena on their menus. I've bought a bottle as I need to up my fluid intake and forgot just how fab it is!

Anyway, despite a few meals out this week, I'm going to be super good this week. See told you all so have to do it now.

Today might be a green day!

Breakfast - toast (hexb) and banana

Lunch - pasta salad with roasted tomatoes, red and yellow pepper strips, cucumber, red onion and LO broccoli (sounds bizarre but tasted fab!), strawberries and nectarines

Dinner - Indian meal out so probably cauliflower and mushroom curry with boiled rice. Not bothered by starters and will drink diet coke and water so only sauce to try and work out syns.

Have a good day all x

ps tried the pancakes at the weekend and they are amazing!

pps Topgirl and those upping their body magic, not had time to start Shred on 1 June as planned but now parentals on mend and I'm back home, plan to start soon:eek:

Ooh Shred, I remember that from a few years ago. Good luck :j

Had a really tasty dinner last night, salmon spread with he Philadelphia and wrapped in Parma ham (1.5 Syns) with potato rosti and a massive salad that I bought some pickled beet root for. Yums.

Have also discovered Walkers Pops - the cheese and bacon flavour are almost exactly like Frazzles, even done to the texture :) love them, and only four syns :)

Have my weigh in tonight and do expect a little gain after,p my celebrations. I didn't just give up though when I knew it was going off plan, for once. Just got on it for the rest of the time. Have done a lot of walking - 13 miles this week, and one exercise ball session, so I'm hoping that will hold back the damage as well as tighten things up a little.

I know I've only lost 1 out of 6 stones so far, but I can see the difference on my face. The majority of my extra weight always goes straight to face and belly, so it's nice to see that changing shape even a tiny bit at the start :)

Braising steak chilli tonight, extra veg for me and I think I may have white rice as a treat :rotfl:

Unfortunately, thats a myth,a lb is a lb not matter if muscle, fat or feathers. However muscle is denser, therefore takes up less room than a lb of fat, hopefully you will see a difference soon :D

I am n strong painkillers from docs & they are only taking the edge off the pain, slept from 2.30 am -5am thed had to get up :(.

Green Day today (not intentional just bad planning)

B - Mushroom omelette, kiwi, apple
L - SW Quiche (HEA cheese & HEB Bacon), large salad, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple
D - Arrabiata bake (HEA), large salad
2nd HEB will be alpen lights later on

Syns - 2 so far - salad dressing & milk in coffee
    Drinks - Water 1.5l, peppermint tea x 2 & 2 x coffees

    Folks,

    Question for you all!!!

When should I stop losing weight???

I am getting seriously frustrated by the amount of people that are making comments about me being skin and bone and don't be going too far! etc  and now I'm starting to worry about it. I've always been one of those people that weighs more than people think I do I guess - but I don't know what to do. My face is looking a little on the tiny side today...........

My BMI is 0.5 off the normal weight category.

I'm 5.4 and 10.9st and of medium build. I have 34 E boobs  so I am definitely not slight lol . I carry all of the weight around my belly - I have skinny arms and legs and not much of a bum. My stomach is pretty much a mess after losing all this weight and for being overweight for so long - don't think It will ever be flat but I can still grab a good handful and I have the remains of a shelf! Sorry to be rude but those with one will know all about it! And I hate it...........I can cope with the rest of me but the belly is hateful!!

I was wanting to go down to 9 stone 13 to get the whole 7 stone weightloss but now I don't know. I also am in love with the idea of being 9 stone anything. .....

Has anyone else had this problem - Maman / JoeDenise?? Its bizarre that I am now worrying about when to stop losing weight??? I never thought I'd get here!!!

I'm a dress size 12 - a 10 in some things. The problem I have is my boobs look massive in comparison to everything else and my waist seems to be bigger than my legs and bum - which means I am a 12 in the waist in a trouser but a 10 in the legs - which is why I think If I could lose a bit more I could just be a 10 on the bottom - end of.

Any thoughts - sorry for ranting but if one more person comes off with one of these cheeky comments I'll crack!!

My family are of mixed opinion and it is becoming a bone of contention!!!

How did you know what your target was / or know what it will be???

I hate reading in all these mags that people like Michelle Keegan / Cheryl Cole etc are like 8 stone soaking wet - it makes me feel like a total Helfalump :(

    Sorry for the ranting :rotfl:

OH Love I think the answer to this is when YOU want to, if you would love to be 9stone something then go for it, you can always scoff for a while to put a bit back on if you decide you don't like it.

I know its hard to do but do try to ignore the cheeky sods who insist on giving their (unasked for) opinion, this is about YOU and what YOU want.
