Just enjoyed a good lunch. Last night DH ended up eating out unexpectedly but I'd already parboiled enough SW chips for two of us. So kept them in the fridge and today I've diced them then fried up with a couple of mushrooms, spring onions and a chopped tomato. Would have made a good base for a frittata/Spanish omelette but I wanted to use up some cold cauli & broccoli so made a sort of hash instead to have with cold meat and pickles. Very tasty. Next time I do wedges or SW chips I think I'll make extra on purpose.

Sounds lovely and a great idea which I think I might copy, thanks.

Have had a mooch around the kitchen and have decided my 2nd HEB is going to be some cheese on Ryvita's tonight! Who would have thought it would be so difficult to decide what to have for HEB, LOL!

    Sounds most yum maman.
I so need to be more organised.
If only I had more energy.
If I was well off I would have someone cook all my meals.

macpep~The sparring equipment is very expensive.
I think they are bringing out a new design so keep your eye out for a bargain on the older design.
I picked some up on ebay yonks ago.
My DS is pre black belt & last I looked his grading would be £180.
( & they have to do a pre test thingy too which is also £££'s)
He only goes intermittingly now. Bleeping waste of money  :rotfl:

Hope you get a physio appointment.

We pay direct debit monthly for both of them, I dont mind that so much as they both really enjoy it but since they started we have forked out a fortune on suits, gradings & now the sparring stuff .

7pm Friday before I can see Physio but to call back docs at 5.30 to see if they have left me a prescription.

I'm in a uber piddled off mood
Apparent being good all week / being slightly under syns for the week ie 5 ok not a massive amount but 2 weeks ago I had a box of quality street that I didn't count and was up to 110 syns plus and lost
:@ fuming I gained 0.5lb today ok it's not a massive amount but I'm fuming because I think I've actually lost weight? I've been more active this last week - gutted a bedroom including dismantling 2 computer desks and have decluttered loads of wardrobes and the loft etc so haven't stopped?! My belt is showing as being another cm smaller so how have I gained :@
Two women in front of me gained as well and on the fb page other people have gained so honestly I'm smelling foul play I really am :@ I've paid £5 a week to have an inaccurate weight basically :@

The SW scales are self-calibrating and at a cost of well over £400 (well that's what mine were insured for several years ago) I don't think they are likely to be inaccurate.
The more likely cause is that box of chocs catching up and an excess of water around your muscles from all the extra activity. Keep plodding on, it will all come right in the end.

As for the fella, you're better off without one that won't treat you well. Have a ((hug)) from a strange woman instead :rotfl:
