Hi All
I am fully expecting a gain tonight, lost my mojo just now, no motivation whatsoever & if I gain I won't stay to class therfore will not have motivation.....vicious circle.
I had a busy weekend though, had some "me time" on saturday which was absolute bliss, the DD had her Tae-kwon-do grading on Sunday then me & the 2 kids went into Glasgow shopping for holiday clothes.
Hope you all had a good weekend, as per usual , I have not caught up with thread x
TIE - I hope you are better soon, I too have problems 'going' I take 2 drinks a day, cannot remember for the life of me what its called, its in an orange & white packet. I had been ok for a while but not "went" since having a dose of the runs on Friday.
Lantanna- Good to see you back :T
Mildredd - That does seem a bit strange that a lot have gained? I didnt think those scales would be innacurate. Sorry your date didn't go as planned but you are better off without him if he is only after one thing!! :T ........................
**Step away from the scones.....now!***;)

Thanks everyone for your ideas and for being supportive.
I will stick with it and do a few changes.
I know I'm having a good moan but it's been like this for almost 2 years up and down and not getting anywhere.
Maman the doctor says it could be my medication, but. He did say that one of them helps. I think it was Metformin but can't be sure I take 7 different ones either once, twice,or three times a day. He also says that the way I am eating is doing my diabetes good. And he is very please with me.
I will just plod along .:)0 -
I can 100 % confirm Lantanna is not normal!!! lol
I have just been donated a tuna salad by a work mate for my dinner - great will save me cooking and no mayo on it either!!
45 mins of exercise will be done tonight - I will have a loss this week and get to target soon. This is my mantra for the next month0 -
macpep~What belt is your DD.
Hope she enjoyed the grading

Hi all - I'm thinking of trying Slimming World. Is there the option to do wheat-free/gluten-free recipes? I don't know much about it, beyond a vague idea of red and green days."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

Hi:wave: I have to admit that I don't know a huge amount about eating gluten free but, at it's simplest, SW can be done on meat, potatoes and plenty of veg (or no meat if you're a veggie) so no problem there. There are definitely gluten free bread and cereal options. SW does work on eating a fair but of fibre bit that can be done through beans and things like that. So overall you'd probably not find it much more difficult than what you'd eat now. You could look up a local group online and phone the consultant to get answers to specific questions.
There's a section on it on the SW website (on the section only open to members I believe) but it does seem to suggest it can easily be done.

Lantanna is normal
I'm in a uber piddled off mood
Apparent being good all week / being slightly under syns for the week ie 5 ok not a massive amount but 2 weeks ago I had a box of quality street that I didn't count and was up to 110 syns plus and lost
:@ fuming I gained 0.5lb today ok it's not a massive amount but I'm fuming because I think I've actually lost weight? I've been more active this last week - gutted a bedroom including dismantling 2 computer desks and have decluttered loads of wardrobes and the loft etc so haven't stopped?! My belt is showing as being another cm smaller so how have I gained :@
Two women in front of me gained as well and on the fb page other people have gained so honestly I'm smelling foul play I really am :@ I've paid £5 a week to have an inaccurate weight basically :@
I did the same this week Mildredd, I only had 80 syns last week and had loads of SF but still managed to put on 0.5lb, it is so annoying. I am just plodding on this week
TraceyOfficially debt free :j0 -

Yemma, let us know how the soup goes. I love Thai carrot & coriander but I've been avoiding it, because of coconut milk.
Mildredd, my body seems to work on a one or two week time lag. That said, I'm expecting the bad week I've had to show up on scales tomorrow. Enjoy your scones - what did you have on them? Butter? Jam? Both? Cream?
Today I had a treat of a choc eclair ( oh, and I might have had a caramel bar too). I've been getting my shopping delivered, but I had a 650 points coupon, which I had to take to the shop to be scanned to be added to my points balance. So temptation was all aroundAnd SIL just brought us a bit of his birthday cake and it would be rude not to eat it.
I can't decide if it's better to have all the naughtiness in the same week, or to have it spread over the whole time. I know, that's what our syn allowance is all about, but I mean EXTRA naughty lol.
So, not counting anything mentioned above Monday's Menu was
Breakfast: hexb porridge made with salt and water, with a little hexa milk
Lunch: hm fridge things soup, Shape strawberry yogurt, nectarine
Dinner: bean chilli with rice
