Thanks to the person who posted Delias Braised Red Cabbage Recipe. Gave it a go and it was gorgeous - passed a little bit onto Mum and my friend (another SWer) and they both loved it too and the rest has gone in the freezer. Substituted sweetener for the brown sugar and eating apples instead of cooking apples.

That was me;). I make it and freeze it in portions. I'm obsessive about my SFs and I think it's well worth the batch cooking to start with then makes it easy to use as an extra side of veg.

    Saturday's plan is Green

    B. Porridge A/B. Clementine x 2

Snack toasted fruit tea cake all my Syns I think ????

    L. Speed soup. Banana

    Snack. Clementine x 2 Apple

    D. Turkey.B. Potatoes roast pots, carrot and swede mash gravy 2 Syns
Supper strawberries and jelly 0.5 Syns

    A milk A milk B porridge B turkey
    All my Syns ?????
    Water, NAS Vimto

Teacakes can be anything from 9 to 12 syns depending on the size and then if you butter it that's probably all your syns used. I wouldn't do it but whatever floats your boat. That's the great thing about SW, you use your syns on whatever pleases you most.

I'm hugely impressed by your efforts to include more veg. Unless you're massively over on the milk that could easily be an EE day and then you can have as much turkey as you like!

:T on your 5lb loss becks, that's amazing.

Hi there, I whisper, hoping no one will notice.

SYNFUL day. I have eaten like a pig! No that's an insult to pigs - I just went food crazy. I blame the hot weather! Not even trying to estimate how far over the score I went. Too embarrassed to write down everything I consumed ('ate' would be too kind a word).

Anyway, in line sand a draw the (rearrange these words to make a well known phrase or saying). I will be back tomorrow.

Well I've gained 2lb 'sigh' Don't know why as I've stuck to plan, I've even lost half an inch of my hips. I'm determined not to let it spoil my day as I've planned a treat for DH as an early anniversary present. I've bought tickets to see Boyzone. I'm not fussed on them myself but DH loves them. It is a surprise. However the event is outdoor and it is forecast for thunder and rain! I'm taking a packed tea with lots of SW goodies.

    Green day for me today:

B: Fruit salad with ff greek yoghurt.
    L: 2 x cheese toasties. Apple.
T: Savoury rice(DH will have pasta), fruit, sports mixture, freddos, laughing cow XL triangles, skinny latte.

Hex A 1: milk in latte
    Hex A 2: cheese.

    Hex B: 1 & 2: 4 slices wholemeal bread.

    BM: 10 min walk
    Weight loss 0/2st
    Inch loss = 0"

    Slow & Steady 3

Well done for losing a half Beanie! Xx

Having an EE day today as much easier when DH is around all day!

    B - SW fry up
L - tuna mayo & cucumber sandwich (HEB + 0.5 for mayo); grapes, strawberries, banana, apricot
D - pork schnitzel (from this month's magazine) 2.5 syns, roast pots or wedges (not decided yet!); salad

HEA - milk as usual in tea throughout the day
    HEB - bread
Syns - 3 as listed above plus wine syns (probably - although didn't have any yesterday for a change, LOL)

    Morning :j

Well done on your loss Beanie Lou and commiserations Durham Mim.

Hoping not to go too far astray today

    B - SW cooked breakfast
D - Mug shot and fruit
T - Takeaway for a night in with Top Boy, thinking chicken kebab with loads of salad and a wholemeal pitta to replace theirs? Do some SW chips for the side.

I've found a recipe for homemade ketchup that is free so I might have a go at that some time this week as I do love ketchup with my chips and a level tbsp just doesn't cut it :)

    HEXA - Milk
    HEXB - Wholemeal pitta

Syns - Lord knows but I am well under this week to be fair.

BM - General household stuff, I've got ironing, kitchen and bathroom and the floors to do so that's a good couple of hours on my feet/knees

Know exactly what you mean here, I put on 0.5lb last week and was so tempted to say sod it whats the point but remembered that when this happened before the week after was a good loss of 3lb so decided to plod on, a sneaky weigh in on my own scales is showing a loss but will see what happens in group on Tuesday,
their scales seem to slow a pound or two more than mine anyway.

Anyway heres to keep plodding, it will happen in the end.

:Tbeanie, you're right it's going in the right direction!

I'm having an EE day but not sure how it's going to work out. This afternoon I'm off to a baby shower for my niece and I know there'll be loads of food and I'd be surprised if anything was SW friendly. I think I'll have an early lunch and try not to be too hungry.

    Today's menu:
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast
    L: LO chicken casserole
D: baked cod, cauli cheese, Jersey Royals
Syns: likely to be pretty awful:o

    Hope for better day tomorrow.;)
