Which book is this please, our consultant told us to avoid birds eye one as high in syns. She recommended Youngs at 2 syns per serving. Is it possible that the 1.5 syn quoted is for 100grms?

Its the Green coloured Food Optimising book, and your right it is per 100g :o
It was the last one in the packet, which I just checked and it is Youngs not Birds Eye, so not too bad.

ETA: Oops cross posted! Never mind, only 2 syns so that's fine. Well done you for buying the lowest syns one.

Oddly enough Bird Eye Cod in Butter Sauce doesn't come up online, although it is a very poor database IMO. Other brands vary between Youngs (2) and Sainsbury's (6).

Thanks meg72. That actifry is fab but too expensive for me. I am struggling a bit and need to get rid of last stone. I love reading this site and love the tips. I am 100 per cent this week but have done this in the past and only get rid of a half or a pound!!!! I can not understand it. I love SW and the amount you can eat as I am sooooo greedy. Love, love chips so I think my activity might break down with all the work it does.
Thanks everyone for the tips and laughs. X

Thanks to the person who posted Delias Braised Red Cabbage Recipe. Gave it a go and it was gorgeous - passed a little bit onto Mum and my friend (another SWer) and they both loved it too and the rest has gone in the freezer. Substituted sweetener for the brown sugar and eating apples instead of cooking apples.

Nothing to eat since lunchtime except for one Costa coffee, bottle of water and a satsuma. Hubby is on doing tea now - lovely pasta with bacon and loads of veggies in tomato sauce - cannot wait. :)

Well I ended up missing lunch and both of my planned snacks :/ I had my pink and white (2.5syn) and a mini sausage roll (3syn) before a chicken and ultra lean bacon salad for tea.

So 9.5 syn left to mess with and a major downer to battle. Think I might have a jubbly ice lolly (1syn) and a 2 finger kit kat (5.5)

I was going to have a grapetise to drink but can't find a syn value online :(

    Evening all!

Am feeling a lot more positive which is good. I'm knocking the exercise on the head and am just concentrating on sticking to plan. Its obviously working as I lost 5lbs at weigh in last night. I was 100% on plan, made a conscience effort to eat as much free food as possible and drink lots. I'm not bouncing off the walls at my loss as it is still catching up from my run of gains. But am in 'the zone' and am running with it.

It is my DD's school fete tomorrow, so I will be surrounded by cakes and candy floss etc. I have already planned my meals, am eating before I go and am taking a Hifi bar to curve my sweet fix! Hope everyone is ok and has a good weekend.
