So Today I think looks like a GREEN DAY?? Maman will correct me if I am wrong
B - Strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, blueberries
L - Wholemeal pasta, tuna, peppers, spring onion, pineapple, blueberries, strawberries, FF Greek yoghurt.
D - HM Salmon Fishcakes, (HEB1 for breadcrumbs) actifry chips, salad, milk (HEA1)
I will have 2nd HEA & HEB later tonight
I'm not an expert on Green but I'm pretty sure you have too many HEBs planned. That's because both tuna (115g) and salmon (65g of fresh or 80g canned) have to be counted as either HEBs or synned.
As you've probably already had lunch then you could either not have fishcakes (perhaps have a couple of fried eggs with your chips) and then you've got another HEB for tonight or as you've had plenty of salad and fruit you could call it EE and just stick with the evening meal as it is and just count your milk as HEXA and breadcrumbs as HEB.
If you wanted to stick to your planned menu and syn some of the the fish, it's 5.5 for 100g of tuna, 9 for fresh salmon or 7.5 for tinned salmon. So synning your lunchtime tuna's your best bet.

The syn value is just for the 11g sachet of Options powder. Many of them are 1.5 syns BTW especially the flavoured ones. Some people add them to yogurts and mix into puddings but if you a mix it with milk then it's from your HEA or synned extra.please-let-me-be-lucky wrote: »It's 2 syns as long as it's made with no milk or with milk from your allowance. Otherwise it would be more syns on top of the 2 for any milk you used as extra (ie not from allowance) Xx
thank you. i didn't know some were 1 and a half, but yeah i meant if i used milk from my allowance for the HEA. i wasn't sure if it would still be 2 syns adding the milk. i've done a few weeks of SW and then had a break for a family wedding so am concentrating a bit more on it now and trying to get it right. i'm not massively overweight but i lost about 10lb in 3-4 weeks before the wedding and would like to lose another stone now. was 11 stone when i weighed myself monday. i put on weight through eating junk, i live alone these days and cooking for one was a bit naff. am ON IT now though! It is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

Thanks ladies, I just assume as its not meat, then its free on green day, fishcakes are all made up in fridge just waiting to be crumbed, so I will just make it an EE day & have cheese instead of milk so I still get my cheese fix
. I actually only use 1 slice WM bread & that covers 2 fishcakes so I technically could still have a rocky road or alpen light later.

Good for you, doing something about it before it gets out of hand. The good things about cooking for one are that you can have what you like when you like and you don't need to buy anything you shouldn't be eating.
For those interested the Options that are 1.5 syns are:- Jazzy Ginger
- Turkish delight
- Choca Mocha
- Mint Madness
- Dreamy Caramel
- Cracking Hazelnut
- Caribbean Coconut
- Outrageous Orange

Called into Morries this afternoon and Magnum Pistachio lollys jumped into my hand
- after studying the box and finding they contained 280 cals (guess around 14 syns) I put them back in the freezer. I wouldn't care they were half price
. However they also have the new Walls Solero Mojito lollies on offer £1.49 and they are only 2 syns each so we got two boxes of those - hope they are nice.
Also found (in Morries) the Liberte yoghurt someone mentioned a couple of weeks ago. Sadly they didn't have the plain one (free) but they had blueberry, lemon and honey ones - these contain syns but not many and won't break the syn bank. Another plus was that they were half price too :j
Picked up a cooked chicken for tea and promise the skin will be removed and binned (honest) and we are having that with mountain of roast veggies. While the oven is on hubby is prepping the stuff to do the braised red cabbage with apple and spices as it seems to take quite a while.
Take care everyone

I'm staying on here lush until meals ready. I am starving and know that if I go into the kitchen at this stage I will start mouching around to see what I can find. Pinterest is a good way of whiling away the hours - I usually start looking for one thing and end up in all different directions. Hope you find what you are looking for.
