Anyone heard of the Fodmap diet? Just been to Dr about my 'issues' and he printed off a sheet about it. Basically all the foods I eat are causing me issues. It tells me to eliminate things like apples (have 1 every day) cows milk (every day) veg like onions ( every day) beans (not every day but most days) also yoghurt (every day).
Also being tested for gluten so have to make sure I have had a fair bit before the test to see if it's a problem. So have a couple of days to eat bread, pasta etc so it's going to be a painful time with a gain on top if I could live without food I'd be fine :p

    Yesterday I had;
    B - weetabix
L - sml amount of wheat noodles, big salad, boiled egg, couple spoons of bachelors curry rice, balsamic dressing (.5) on salad and honey & mustard on egg (1) slice of super white, jam (1)
    LOTS OF PAIN :(
T - (at 9pm when pain subsided a bit) baked sweet pots & cheese plus half a tomato, h&m dressing (1)
    HEA - milk, cheese
    HEB - weetabix, bread
    Syns - 3.5

Rest of evening was very uncomfortable and broken sleep from tummy pains :(
Oh well same again today, roll on tomorrow's blood test :p
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Thanks Maman and Top Girl :) I'm halfway through AA100 now and that TMA was an absolute killer! Judging by the comments on the Facebook page I'm not the only one who thought that :D as I posted on said page it was 1135 words of complete drivel but hopefully my tutor can find something good in it :D
    Another green day today.
B: HEXB porridge with 190 mls HEXA semi skimmed, 0% peach Activia, cup of tea with HEXA
L: Mushy pea curry made with curried beans (1.5 syns) Uncle Ben's wholegrain rice (3.5 syns) Frappucino with HEXA, apple
T: Quorn peppered steaks, mash, steamed mixed veg, 2 kiwis
S: Ryvita Minis, (HEXB) cheese twist (2 syns)
Drinks will be my usual NAS cordial.
    Syns: 7
Hoping to get out for a walk if the dam rain stops but if not will haul myself onto the torture machine :D for a session.
Well done on all the losses everyone and hugs to those who need them xx

Chuffed to have lost 2.5 lbs last night:) Now to make sure I stay on track this week as I'm out for dinner tonight, tomorrow night, Friday lunchtime and Monday night:eek: All due to my brothers and their families coming home from different parts of the world. Can't wait for us all to be in one place together again but oooohhhh the syns!!

    EE today -

Breakfast - banana, pineapple, Muller Light

Lunch - Ham with huge salad, gerkins, onions and beetroot. rest of pineapple and nectarine.

Dinner - melon and berries, steak and will ask for baked potato instead of fries, veg. Drooling at the puddings on the menu but will hopefully opt for coffee!

Syns - l/f s/cream 2, gin and slimline tonic 4? trying to keep rest of syns to help cover other events

In amongst all this socialising I'm definitely going to start Shred on Sunday. Even after losing over half a stone, put dressy trousers on this morning for a funeral and they are tight!

Have a good day all x

MrsR, I did that course when it was called plain A100!

jelly, I'd enjoy yourself with your brothers. Make sensible choices where you can and try to be extra good (syn free and plenty of SF) in between when you're not eating out then straight back on the wagon when they leave. You'll probably have a gain but like Mrslady and her honeymoon gain it'll go quite quickly.

Had soup for lunch and shifted myself to cut up a melon so ate half of that too. That's all now until WI.;)

    Interesting day today food wise:

B - Poached egg and beans on THREE  slices of great white toasted - HEXB + 6 - followed by pineapple and kiwi and 2 x laughing cow blue cheese for 3

D - Three pork steaks with carrots, broccoli and green beans
and a deli box for 1.5

Not hungry, thinking maybe savoury rice and celery followed by some fruit and an options about 8:30, finishing on a massive for me 12.5.

No body magic, rainy, horrible, somewhat disjointed day, cleared out the cupboard under the stairs and sorted a load of stuff for ebaying though so not a dead loss.

Thanks for the planks :D I will have a look tomorrow when I feel less bleurgh.

    Yo losers :D here's yer chart... :T:T

    SWnew_zpsfa9b18bf.png

I have took a different route this week to weight loss, I ordered Paul McKenna's gastric band book and have hypnotised myself into not being a piggy! :D

I thought I could combine it with the SW way, that way it controls my portions and stops me thinking about food all the time.

So far today I've had :
    B - pineapple 250g
L - chicken tikka salad (half)
    T - HM lasagne (2) salad, pickles
S - milk in tea (A) couple of sweets (5)

And I feel stuffed :rotfl: it's pathetic!!

Still need my B choice, might have some ryvita later..

I hope to join you big losers next week, the loses coming in are amazing!! :j:j

Thanks Maman and Topgirl. Yes - I always have lean meat and fish - all free stuff. It's not very MSE the way I shop! My life is busy, and I say I haven't got time to plan, but actually, I know that really it would save time in the longer run! (I could be doing it now instead of being on here - hehehe!!) I definitely think it's an improvement I could make.

I did an OU degree too! I started with A102 back in 1996 and graduated in 2000. I loved it - but I was glad when I could finally read books and listen to music etc., for pleasure rather than to study.
