Evening all! There seem to be some amazing losses this week. Must be something in the water . . .I lost 4lb!! :j

So that's 4lb of the 6lb I gained on honeymoon already gone - very pleased as I'm back on it, but a bit half-hearted some days. I can say that I have eaten my own bodyweight in cherries this week though - I just love them.

Planning is still the most difficult thing for me and always has been. I have never been in the routine of planning meals and shopping well, so I tend to grab cooked meat or fish at lunchtime with a box of cherry tomatoes and a load of fruit. I could be better at this - something to work towards. I'd be interested to hear how others have cracked the bad habit!!

    Have a good week everyone . . . . plodding on :)

I'm not so convinced it is a bad habit as long as your meat and fish are lean.

I know that if I don't take dinner to work, I can grab a plain salad from the local supermarket with a seafood selection and it's all free/super free or get the local deli to make me up a free salad box with a few trimmings.

I know it's not very :money: but if I've taken food from home Mon-Thurs, I often buy such a dinner on Friday, to mix it up a little bit.

Hi Top Girl, I've got Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred. Dusted it at the weekend and took off the wrapper! Was thinking about giving it a go so could start on Sunday and we could compare notes??

I'm older than you but have noticed the creppiness (sp?!!) starting at the top of my arms so this needs to go!

Thanks for pancake recipe will try them at weekend when I have more time. They sound really good.

I've got that too, might have a shot at that as well

Needs must now, dress weather is a-coming and this wings won't wobble themselves off :rotfl:

No worries, hope you like them :)

Well done! Starbucks is a bit weakness of mine, I work right in town so Starbucks, Costa, Pret looking at me from all directions!

Pret is my stop of choice if I'm in ton over a mealtime. I love their salad nicoise and since they replaced the olives with capers it's absolutely free. There is a separate pot of dressing and I just usually put a tiny drizzle on.

I told you what goes on quickly comes off quickly. Well done you for getting back on plan!

I've always found that meal planning saves me time (and money). It's a bit easier for me as I'm generally home at lunchtimes so I just plan suppers and make sure I have plenty of ingredients for a range of breakfasts. Lunches are generally leftovers, soups (from freezer) or sometimes jackets with cottage cheese and pickles. So I basically plan 7 suppers unless we're going out to eat, some are batch cooked things from the freezer for busy nights, others based on what I have in first so as not to waste anything and then I just by extra essential ingredients.

I bet you're delighted to see the back of the assignment MrsR and the walk to clear your head was an excellent idea. When I did my OU degree back in the day I had to post hard copies by snail mail. When it was finished I'd walk to the postbox even in the middle of the night (which it often was:() just to see it off and clear my head.

    Great reductions meg.

My waistline does not miss TMA week.

It doesn't help that in 6 years, I never wrote one without a glass of wine at hand. No wonder most of the best literary minds were rampant p1ssheads...

Well done, much less stressful now, for at least four weeks ;)

Well done to those with losses and STS this week and hugs to those who need them. WI for me is tomorrow morning and for a change I will definitely be under the 105 syns for the week!

Today will be another EE day with meals being at odd times due to having a lunchtime scan appointment for which I have to starve for 6 hours:eek:. So will be having breakfast shortly but lunch won't be until about 2pm or perhaps even later (not sure what time I'll get back home!).

B - bacon & mushroom sandwich with a bit of brown sauce
    L - LO sausage casserole
    D - sausages, mash, broccoli

HEA - milk in tea during the day but may use some for a frappachino later
HEB - 2 slices WM bread
Syns - 3 Tesco Healthy Living Sausages - 3 syns
    Brown sauce - 1 Tbs - 1 syn
    Butter - scrape - 2 syns

so 6 syns in total but may need to syn a bit of milk if I do have a frappachino!

Off to do my breakfast now as need it eaten by 7am!

    Denise
