Congrats on the loses loosers :j

    Green day for me today.

Breakfast - bran flakes, half a banana, strawberries, shape 0 fat yoghurt
Lunch - super rice, veg casserole, shape 0 fat yoghurt
Tea - stir fry lots and lots of veg and noodles. watermelon

The stir fry did contain quorn beef strips, they are rank so I picked them out. Never again.

Snacks 2 apples, banana, peanut butter on toast.

    hea - skimmed milk
heb - bran flakes, 2 x wholemeal toast

Syns - options hot chocolate 2, peanut butter 4

My little boy still has Easter chocolate left. Opened a new egg for him and it had bars of Dairy Milk in with it. Looked at it is 12 syns for a regular sized bar. I used to think nothing of scoffing a massive bar all in one go and all to myself. I dread to think what the syns would be.

No, I didn't tell her as I knew I would see her in the spring sometime, we skype regularly but I always angle iPad up a bit so she couldn't see shape of face too well.
    Thanks

Oh you crafty little devil Annie. :D I bet her face was a picture. Keep up the good work.

Jelly baby, I had this sent to me for syn free magic pancakes

    Ingredients

    35g porridge oats - HEXB

    Half a muller light yoghurt

    2 tbsp granulated sweetener

    2 eggs

    Method

Place your 35g of porridge oats in a bowl & mix with half a muller light yoghurt and leave this mixture overnight in the fridge

Then in the morning whisk 2 eggs into the mixture then add tbsp sweetener.

Spray a large frying pan with frylight and bring to medium heat

Use a dessert spoon and measure out roughly 12 small pancakes

Fry one side for about 4-5 minutes until it stops bubblingFlip over and cook for further 3-4 minutes until golden brown

Serve with some fresh fruit of your choice or any other syn free accompaniment

    * I personally am wondering about making them with fat free natural yoghurt, skipping the sweetener and making them larger and topping with mushrooms, tomatoes and gammon for example as an alternative to bread/toast.

Oh thank you TopGirl. DH is craving pancakes. Had me looking up for wholemeal flour tonight. :D

Morning all - just been weighed and have lost 3.5 lbs -= in spite of being away over the weekend!!
Also won Slimmer of The Month Award - really pleased! and achieved Bronze Body Magic. Actually did enough for Silver but didn't tell consultant so will keep going at same rate this next 4 weeks.

This will keep me on track!
Keep up the good work everyone and thank you for the ideas for menus and your support.

Great loss just the two of us and well done on receiving awards. :T

  • Back from weigh in and 3lbs off:j. That's half a stone in 2 weeks and 2stone 10 and a half off in total. Pleased to be moving again!

I make the banana pancakes. 1 banana, mashed like you would do for a baby, then add cinnamon, sweetener, 2 eggs and whisk with a fork. Add to a hot frying pan, cut into quarters when the first side is cooked and then flip the pieces over to cook the other side. Serve with plenty of berries and yogurt. There is a big hoohah as to whether these are syn free or have to be counted as 5 syns as the fruit has been changed or cooked. I never count them as syns, but to be fair I rarely have my full syns so they probably won't affect me either way.

    Evening all.

Well done losers and award winners. Hugs to people finding things difficult.

Well I should have known! I'd have been better with that "all visioble fat removed, scabby dug", maman. It's a 1lb gain for me, Shala - I'm off to sit in a corner wearing a dunce's cap.

On Sunday night when I weighed myself I was STS from last week, but this morning before breakfast I'd gained, so that was pretty bad between Friday's and Monday's disastrous efforts.

So, what have I learned about me?
    1. I can only have one synful day, no matter how many syns are in the bank.
    2. If it's a mealtime, eat something, even if it's a bit synful - it'll be a saving in the end.

So, back on that wagon - is there a seat?

    Tuesday's Menu
Breakfast: hexb porridge made with salt and water, some hexa milk, banana
Lunch: Batchelors cheese, leek & ham Pasta 'n' Sauce (0.5 syn) with beetroot, ML vanilla & dark choc sprinkle yog with a cherry underlayer (1.5 syns)
Dinner: beef pot roast made with onions, carrots, swede with potatoes mashed with fat free natural fromage frais, cauliflower
Snacks so far: choc digestive (3 syns)

    Total: 5 syns
Syns Bank Balance: 100 for 6 days & tonight
This week's booby traps: lunch on Friday.

Might have a skinny cow mint chocolate lolly (5 syns) later.

    Well done Annie :T

We still have easter choc left too. DH has gone through it with me and we have marked on each item how many syns are in so many squares etc. I must admit it has made me think twice before sticking it in my mouth - that's the whole lot I'm talking about. :o

Oh forgot to say welcome mimi :hello:

Went out shopping this morning with DH and DS - hadn't planned on being out at lunchtime but was so pleased with myself as I called at Greggs and got a pot of pineapple, melon and mango and when we called at Starbucks I had a skinny latte. Was thinking of classing the milk in the latte as hexa or is this too much stretch of the imagination :D.

Oh well off now as I still have loads to do - all involving sitting on my bum at laptop I'm afraid so no BM there then ;).

    Have a good week everyone.

Mimi - welcome to the thread.

You have put "breakfast bars" as HEB - what bars are you using as not all can be used as HEB. They have to have a certain level of fibre in them to be counted. Hopefully the ones you've got will be HEB rather than 6 syns.

    Denise

Hi Denise, I have the ones from Aldi (Benefit bars) :D I checked and they're HEB's but thank you!
