Got back from my weekend away with both my daughters, youngest's partner and our grand-daughter. Was pretty good over the whole weekend, less alcohol syns than usual, LOL, and more exercise including a 3.5 mile ramble (although the route had to be changed because there was a bull in one of the fields we were supposed to walk across!

Have had a total of 78 syns between Thursday and Monday so now have 27 syns left for today and tomorrow - completely unknown for me lol!

    Today will be EE:

B - bacon, beans, loads of mushrooms (no egg as having lunchtime!)
L - egg mayo sandwich (HEB + 0.5 for LTL mayo)
    D - sausage casserole (2 syns)

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB - 2 WM bread
Syns - 2.5 so far; may have a fruit split lolly later - 3; may also need a little cornflour to thicken the casserole stock 2?

May syn a frappachino later (4)

Have still got bananas and strawberries left to snack on so won't buy any more fruit today as need to use these up otherwise DH will start on fresh stuff rather than eating these:(.

Start by doing what's necessary, then what's possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.

Thanks Annie. Would love to see you get your 4st award tomorrow. Bet Mum got a lovely surprise when she saw you. Did she know you had been losing weight?

Great loss lisa. Hope you get your award next week.

No, I didn't tell her as I knew I would see her in the spring sometime, we skype regularly but I always angle iPad up a bit so she couldn't see shape of face too well.
    Thanks

    Good morning everybody. :)

Had another busy week and haven't been able to get online much. We've been having some work done on the house so everything has been upside down and topsy turvy but we're starting to get back to normal now although there will be decorating to be done once the new plaster has dried out.

I've tried to stay on the plan as best as I could but have been living mostly on pasta meals and sandwiches. I've had a lot more syns than I usually do, used mostly on extra bread but I've kept them under control and had between 10-15 per day.

Got weighed yesterday and it was a STS which I'm quite happy with as I was really expecting a gain with all the extra bread and pasta I'd eaten. Anyway, I'm back on the red plan as from today so will hopefully show a loss next week.

Will try to catch up and read all the posts from the last week, later today if I can.:)

I'm still plodding on here. My EE day:

B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, scrambled eggs
L: cold pork, fried veg and beetroot
D: SW burger, SW wedges, fried onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, peas
Syns: HP sauce with breakfast and supper!

You're doing really well with the syn bank denise.:) I think mine must be empty this week so planning very few until Thursday WI. Thursday I'm out for lunch and dinner so an off plan day then back on it with a vengeance.

Jelly baby, I had this sent to me for syn free magic pancakes

    Ingredients

    35g porridge oats - HEXB

    Half a muller light yoghurt

    2 tbsp granulated sweetener

    2 eggs

    Method

Place your 35g of porridge oats in a bowl & mix with half a muller light yoghurt and leave this mixture overnight in the fridge

Then in the morning whisk 2 eggs into the mixture then add tbsp sweetener.

Spray a large frying pan with frylight and bring to medium heat

Use a dessert spoon and measure out roughly 12 small pancakes

Fry one side for about 4-5 minutes until it stops bubblingFlip over and cook for further 3-4 minutes until golden brown

Serve with some fresh fruit of your choice or any other syn free accompaniment

    * I personally am wondering about making them with fat free natural yoghurt, skipping the sweetener and making them larger and topping with mushrooms, tomatoes and gammon for example as an alternative to bread/toast.

    Stuck to plan yesterday

    Today is as follows:

B - Trimmed bacon, poached egg, mushrooms and tomatoes with HEXB toast

D - Ham and boiled egg salad

T - Trimmed pork loin medallion, SW chips, carrots, broccoli, green beans

    HEXA - Milk in drinks
    HEXB - Bread

Syns - Not sure yet. Definitely an options for 2, maybe some cheese curls for 3.5, maybe some laughing cow on celery sticks, see how I feel tonight.

BM - Going out this afternoon round town, visiting a relative, various chores through the day. Hoping I'm well enough to resume some proper exercise soon, until then, I bustle about as best I can with a couple of ten/fifteen minute brisk walks and housework.

Hoping to start the 30 day abs challenge on June 1st, anyone else seen this and fancy it?
