    Evening all!

Back from hols, washing all done and am almost back in the mind-set to return to work tomorrow :( Weeks away go so quickly.

I had a nice time, was good food wise, but lost it a bit with the drinks. One night in happy hour I had 9 cocktails!!! But all in all had a lovely time.

I start back at a new group on Wednesday so I won't weigh myself until then. Im going all in and going for a 12 week countdown to save myself 2 weeks worth.

I'm just eating out of the cupboards at the moment, so wont officially start sw until Thursday, but Im looking forward to it.

Welcome to all of the newbies and the returning members. Hugs to those struggling at the moment, I will attempt to catch up on the rest of the thread now.

The best list is on the SW site. You need to be signed up to access it. We can't copy it but just ask any questions you want. If you really enjoy the olive oil then I'd stick to that as your HEB but that would cut out bread, cereal etc. unless you went for the Green plan. But you can change your plan day by day if you want.

    Hiya!

gallygirl, square slice is for putting on a roll with fried onion and mustard - drool

maman, don't know how to describe sliced sausage to you. The square one (technically it isn't square) is sometimes called Lorne sausage. Looks like it has been shaped in a loaf tin, then sliced. It doesn't have a skin. Round slice is just a big roll of sausagemeat, sliced. It has a wrap, not skin, that you don't eat. It can be pork or beef.

Anyway, that's enough talk of sausages!

    Review of Sunday's menu

Breakfast: scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, maybe toast yep, 1 small slice, hexb
Lunch: hexa cheesy bean jacket with beetroot and picled onions
Dinner: steak & salad (salad leaves, red cabbage, carrot, tomatoes, cucumber , SW toffee apple ice cream (1.5)
Snacks: shortbread finger (5), 2 Belvita fruit & fibre (counting 1 as other bit of my hexb, so just 3syns to count
    Total: 9.5 syns

    Monday's plan
Breakfast: scrambled egg & smoked salmon (don't want it to go to waste ;)), hexb toast (1 slice), clementine
Lunch: tuna jacket, mixed salad, banana
Dinner: SW spag bol, hexa parmesan, 1 slice hexb bread

Here's hoping you all do well tomorrow.

I noticed that Maman has answered this question for you. As Maman says just ask on here and someone will come along and answer any questions you have but basically on EE (Extra Easy not Extra Express!). It might also be worth having a look at Minimims as there is a lot of useful information on there.

Have decided on another EE day today as had to get up early this morning but not allowed anything to eat or drink until after I've been to hospital for blood tests so have decided I'm going to the local cafe for a big breakfast (and done in SW friendly way as long as you don't have the black pudding!). Will have HEB of toast with it.

Lunch will be HM butternut squash soup.

Dinner tonight will be prawn, pea & mint risotto (was supposed to have had this over the weekend but because we ate out and there was so much of it we didn't need or want another big meal!

HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day (once Ive been to hosital!).

Only syns planned so far is a 10g pack of butter on toast for breakfast so 3.5.

Re the clothing debate………………..aaaaah I have many issues!!! :eek:Panel dresses work for me too, body con believe it or believe it not and anything empire line as I am busty! And quite frankly there are times when I would like to cut them off lol
As my legs and thighs are skinny I can get away with quite short dresses as well but I prefer knee length as I think it is more flattering.
Anything cut on the waist or that emphasises the waist looks awful on me as its my worst area! I have real problems getting fitted dresses to fit all over as they are never made big enough in the bust for me – and if they fit they are too big elsewhere!
Tunic styles add bulk to me and due to my boobs - look like maternity wear! Such hard work being a woman isn’t it! Men have it so easy – just pick a pair of trousers and a shirt and that’s it! All I wear at the min is jeggings and different knee length boots – though those are getting too big and I need to buy insoles as I’ve dropped a flippin shoe size as well! Lol
Mrs Ryan - I’m having a full on ongoing clothing dilemma as well. It’s a nightmare – my knickers are like buckets – that’s the only way to describe them lol! I’m going to be in a Size 12 trouser any day now – I desperately need new bras as well! Its so depressing having a wardrobe full of clothes that don’t fit – I really need to sort it - like now for the good of my mental health!
Frogga – Hey, good to see you back!
Shala - Have you tried a maxi dress style – Just thinking that might be nice with a cardigan or shawl etc to cover your arms??
Sary – Thank you, only just saw congrats there now!
I am so skint this week until Friday so I will be making do with what is in the house until then! Being low on funds always dampens my mood so trying to avoid that.
Did we come to a conclusion about the next challenge – re starting?
    2b - Where art thou?
Mildredd - Keep hanging in there chum!!

Becks you were on holiday – you deserved the 9 cocktails! J Bet they’ll be the last for a while!
HelenDaveKids - Good work on the exercise!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kettlebells for me again tonight – dear help me lol xx

Welcome to all the Newbies & returnees!!

    Morning all

Half term here, but I am working 2 days. Been in since 7.30 and it's lovely and quiet in the staff room so getting loads of admin and prep done :T

Wednesday will be danger day. I've planned a day on the sofa with the box set of Game of Thrones series 3 for company. :j Will have to make sure there is nothing tempting around. Thursday and Friday will be fine as I'm out and about.

Daughter no. 2 and her fiance invited themselves over tonight for dinner. She's on SW too, so will make a suitable meal for all of us. Just need inspiration for pudding so will go for a pootle around the internet during my lunch break.

WI today -1.5lb taking me down into the 13's and 1/2lb away from 1st since I re-started this year :j Slow and steady seems to be the name of the game, but I'm happy with that.

Adopted daughter gets married in May so would like to be able to wear something fitted instead of my normal dresses which "skim" the lumps and bumps! Another stone off and some magic underwear should sort that.

Right, that's my break over. Back to it..............

Have a good week everyone :)

I'd suggest you plan for Wednesday by having loads of easy SW friendly food around. For me that would be loads of cold meat and pickles type stuff for picking at: tikka chicken, drumsticks, cornichons, pickled onions and maybe make a frittata. Then if you have something easy for actual meals like soup or JPs you should be fine.

I'm a very lazy cook when it comes to puddings. I'd go for raspberries and meringue (can smash it up into Eton Mess if you want) and then serve with 0% Greek yogurt and cream for others if they want.

Back on the great shrinking clothes theme: I struggled by with old, badly fitting bras and one of my treats when getting to target was to go and get measured properly and buy a really decent one. I was delighted to have gone down 2 (probably more as old ones started off tight) back sizes but kept the cup size!:D Then when I was sure of new size I've been buying more in TK Maxx. I look whenever I go in there just to see what's in my size, on average a third of the price of my 'measured' one.

    Today's EE plan:
    B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast
L: plenty of choice, probably LO veg and beef
D: home cooked ham, mash/new potatoes (can't decide), cabbage, carrots,
    Syns: squirt of HP sauce

Hope you enjoyed your breakfast denise, and all OK at hospital.:)
