Was going to have a Red day today but have so much veggie jambalaya left over I'm having some for lunch so going with another EE day! My jambalaya recipe was supposed to be for 4 servings: DH and I had for dinner last night, we've both got some for lunch today and I've put another good 2 portions in the freezer for another time!
We did jambalaya - halved the recipe and it still did about 6 portions  Very tasty though. Had it with chicken once and then large prawns.
So following my STS last week this week I have a loss of 4.2lb and have hit my club 10!
Woo Hoo tazzy on great loss and on getting Club 10. :T

Sorry to hear about the headache shala, hopefully it will go off soon or disappear after a night's sleep so you can enjoy your break.
Have you heard that some people take the batter of chip shop fish?
I never have had that sort of self control.:o0 -
Well done ladies! It's great to see everyone supporting one another!
Please forgive my intrusion in this thread but I just wanted to ask if we are allowed to mention Slimming World forums on here?
The reason I ask is that I run an unofficial SW forum and even though ours is an active, popular and supportive environment, I don't feel that we're reaching enough people. There are lots of forums 'out there' but many are struggling at the moment - indeed, a friend of mine who runs her own SW forum has now closed it due to lack of active members. It's such a shame that forums like ours aren't being fully utilised because they are a mine of information and an extra support network - and goodness knows, when we're in the weight loss zone, we need all the support we can get!
Anyway, ladies, if any of you would like to pop over to our forum, please know that you are all most welcome, I think you will really like it. I won't post the link here (unless I'm allowed - I don't want to spam) but if you want the URL, just send me a PM or do a google search on slimming world club (it will come up 3rd in the google ranking).
My own weight loss journey has been yo-yo-ing over the last couple of years. I managed to reclaim my 1 stone award and I'm 4.5lbs off reclaiming my 1.5 stone award! In fact, I'll find out later as it's my weigh in at 5:30 today... fingers crossed I have a loss. On paper I should do... but then again, my body doesn't always do as it's told lol!
Good luck for your weigh ins this week, ladies. xxx"He who asks questions cannot avoid the answers"0 -

Hello everyone, I'm new.
..This does sound realistic but I have got severe food intolerances and am limited to what fruit and veg I can eat and cannot eat any herbs or spices which is why I struggle with SW as I can't just knock up a SW curry or any other yummy fakeaway type things.
Anyway, just thought I would introduce myself (...again...I've been here before, pre-baby!) and have a question for any consultants or experts out there. I cannot eat any fibre whatsoever, therefore cannot have any of the B's. What alternatives are there to the B's? Is it acceptable to eat one slice of white bread? I understand B's are all about fibre (how I'd love to have 2 weetabix as a HEB each day) All I can eat is white bread and rice krispies, all other cereals and other types of bread are off limits. I'd be glad of any advice.
I hope I can stick to it, I've been 100% good today which is the first day in forever that I can truly say that!
Hi Ammonite,
Welcome, I am sorry I can't hep with your HEXb problem, but there are people on here who are very knowledgeable about SW and will be able to help when they come along.
Good luck!0 -
Evening all
I have to announce I am officially in love :heartpuls: I made the frappucino drink thing with the Mullerlight and it was lush! I just bought 1 as that was all the money I had but will try and get some more when I'm paid. Bad news today- my old work (well I'm still employed by them so not old as such) is closingwhat a real shame that is as it did such good work. Very annoyed with mr Cameron and his cronies and their 'cuts cuts and more cuts' mentality
Anyway. Green day today (again)
B: 2 HEXB Weetabix, HEXA milk and banana
L: mushy pea curry made with curried beans (1.5 syns) uncle Ben's golden veg rice (3 syns) 2 apples, Diet Pepsi
T: 2 fried eggs cooked with Frylight, 2 Linda McCartney Italian veggie sausages (1 syn) HEXB Ryvita Cracked Black Pepper, Frappucino made with HEXA milk
S: Steamed mixed veg and Worcester sauce, with a Quorn peppered steak if I'm hungry.
Syns: 5.5
Body magic: 3 mile walk
I like green as it removes the requirements for the 1/3 superfree. Some of you may notice that even when I follow EE I struggle to get 1/3 superfree into every meal. This is down to cost and preparation issuescan't afford to have fruit/veg with every single meal
also I find it difficult to stand and prepare fresh veg etc for each meal but I do eat a lot of free food. I did think of frozen veg but I think that gets a bit samey after a while
ho hum. Wish I weren't so damn fussy
Today's rant is done. Sorry everyone!!

WI yesterday 1/2 lb gain. though I had hoped for a STS I knew that I had really been OTT with the syns. Aw well must make an effort now, DD and DGD came with me last night and
enrolled. DD was a member of another group last year and did very well, lost 3 stone but had to stop going due to other commitments and put a stone back on. DGD is only 14 and has been enrolled as a Free2Go teen. was very impressed with the pack and the encouragement to eat healthy offered.
They will not be going next week as on holiday so I am going to be really really good and surprise them.
I have made myself a 7 day plan and aim to stick to it faithfully.
Day 1
B 2 boiled Eggs, grilled tomato and mushroom,
S Apple and yogurt
L Egg salad ( lettuce, onion,pepper,celery,tomato,cress,
Beetroot, raddish, cucumber.)
S 2 satsumas.
D Cottage Pie. Carrots,cabbage, sweetcorn.
HE 4 Dark Rye ryvita 4 Laughing Cow Triangle.
Large font is because I have copied it from the file I made, I chose to do large as I want to stick them on the fridge and I can read them without having to find my glasses.
Well done to those who have lost, hope to join you next weekSlimming World at target0 -
Evening
Well done on all losses :T and commiserations on gains/STS.
My stomach has just about calmed down now but I think I have oversynned today, however, I'm of the mind at the minute that whatever I can digest is good enough and it might be an idea to go easy on the super free. Managed cheese, mushroom and bacon quiche for tea so if I can cope with this, I'm back on plan tomorrow.
B - Bacon, poached egg, tomatoes and mushrooms
D - SW quiche and salad, pineapple and kiwi chunks
T - SW bolognese sauce or mushy pea curry on a baked potato or pasta or wedges, whatever takes my fancy
HEXA - Half in quiche, half in tea
HEXB - Alpen light, I think
Syns - Options for 2 and maybe a noodle deli box for 1.5
*pray for Top Girl*0
