BEG - let us know how the icecream goes, I saw that and thought i'd try it at the weekend.. think it was meg who posted it, thanks x
Update on my attempt at trying to make the ice cream shala - when [STRIKE]'testing[/STRIKE]' stirring it during freezing it seemed quite pleasant but when we tried it last night it was so solid DH put it in microwave to try and soften it and it seemed quite icyI think it would have been better if we'd had it when it was semi-frozen. It might have been better with an ice cream maker. Don't think I will make it again - would probably just buy some ice cream and syn it. Thanks for the chart.
Evening all!
Back from my honeymoon 6lb gain in just 2 weeks. How come it's that easy?!
Anyway - I'm raring to get back to routine now after all the excitement of a wonderful wedding. My dress looked lovely on the day, so I'm very pleased that I made the effort. I don't want it all to go to waste!!
Welcome back mrslady. I bet that gain won't hang around too long
Have a lovely day everyone

Welcome back mrslady and welcome ammonite. Some great losses there.
Was going to have a Red day today but have so much veggie jambalaya left over I'm having some for lunch so going with another EE day! My jambalaya recipe was supposed to be for 4 servings: DH and I had for dinner last night, we've both got some for lunch today and I've put another good 2 portions in the freezer for another time!
B - bacon, egg & mushrooms
L - LO veggie jambalaya but have chopped up a bit of bacon and stirred through this morning to give it a bit of a meaty flavour! (there was only one rasher left in the pack when I done my breakfast so didn't want to put back into fridge!)
D - Salmon & veg traybake.
We've got a taster morning tomorrow at Group so am off to make some SW brownies - if I can find my recipe!

Hi everyone
Just had a few very BLAH days! Stayed pretty much on track but just felt very down. Went to class last night and STS but as it's 'star' week not too bothered.
Gave myself a good talking to last night. I keep forgetting there's some things in life I have no say or control over so just need to go with the flow!
Anyways today food looks like this - not sure whether to go EE or red
Breakfast - wholemeal roll (hexb) and burnt bacon
Lunch - (meeting friend for lunch) baked potato with chilli and salad. Diet coke. Have pineapple and strawberries in with me for snacking.
Dinner - chicken fajitas (without the wrap) with loads onions, peppers, mushrooms, and some lurking at the back of the fridge cauliflower and green beans.
Hexa milk for coffee. Syns - 4 for Discovery mix (sharing packet).
Have a good day, off to catch up with everyone x0 -

:rotfl:that's a new idea for breakfast!
I think I'd go EE to be on the safe side as you might have a huge potato at lunchtime if you're eating out. Enjoy meeting up with your friend.
mim, any reason for only having one Weetabix?
My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast
L: lentil and veg soupcold gammon, jersey Royals, asparagus, tomatoes and mushrooms
I got some YS pork mince in Sainsbury's yesterday (10% but I'm ignoring that) so going to make some burgers today.0 -
Great losses annie and please let me.
Top girl hope you are feeling better.
Welcome ammonite sure there will be ways for you to stay on plan. Are you going to class or doing it on your own?
So following my STS last week this week I have a loss of 4.2lb and have hit my club 10!
I varied my healthy extras, drank more water and had a couple of green days. Also got back in the routine of doing some exercise. Due to running my own business, working another job part time and having a 16 month old son I am only managing about 10-20 minutes a day. I keep saying I will get up earlier to try and do some more in the morning but it has not happened yet.
Not sure if I am going to do a green or EE day today. So not decided what to do for tea.
Breakfast 2 x weetabix, skimmed milk, water melon
Lunch - super speed soup, banana, apple, muller light.0 -
I found my brownie recipe and they are now in the oven - just hope they turn out OK. Will have to have a taste - for quality control purposes, of course! Not sure how many syns they'll be yet as it depends how many pieces I manage to cut them into. Last time I made them they worked out at 1.5 syns for 2 pieces.
Have got them out of the oven and they've cooled so now cut into pieces and they work out at just under 0.5 syns each so think I must have cut into smaller pieces this time, LOL! They are lovely and bitter just like they should be but think I may have cooked them slightly too long as not as moist as last time.
tazzyb - I wouldn't worry about not getting more than 15-20 mins exercise a day as you can still lose without the exercise. I certainly got to target with very little exercise and certainly nothing regular! My exercise seemed to be in blocks - such as when the garden needing digging over or the potatoes needed digging up, LOL! With a toddler I would think you are getting far more than 15-20 minutes exercise a day - I know I certainly did when my kids were little (a very long time ago now!).

Cheers Denise, reassuring to know that the little I am managing will help. Losing all the weight from my arms, boobs and legs. I am now pretty much at the weight I was before I got pregnant but the jeans I could wear then are still to small for me due to my belly. Its funny where you lose it from first. Most of my fat is belly and back and not a scrap has gone from there yet.0 -
Morning everyone
Well done on some great losses!
Day off today so I'm lounging, really. Textbook to finish later and then weigh in.
Yesterday:
Melon, strawberries, muller light
Couscous with veg, tomatoes, banana, satsuma
Dinner was braising steak chilli, one of our favourites. 3 syns for chorizo. I had some veg on the side because I didn't want to sully the meaty goodness
HEA cheeeeeese on the chilli, HEB peanut hifi. Just the 3 syns. I'm actually not going over 10 most days, need to try harder
Dinner tonight us loaded potato skins, requested by the bf0 -
Some brilliant losses there ladies... and mrslady i hope you enjoyed every bit of that gain
tazzy - club 10.. brilliant achievement :T well done... and what a brilliant loss to achieve it with!
Woke up this morning with a headache bordering on a migaine, so took loads of drugs to try and dull the pain. It's still there but duller, so i've just got to get through the day at work, then i'm off work till next Tuesday :j:j
Sister is coming up too, so disaster zone where eating is concerned i'm afraidshe always has to have "proper" fish and chips and proper pork scratchings :rotfl:because they don't do them the same where she lives.
I can avoid the pork scratchngs (especially the hairy ones_pale_) but i will partake in the chips if she has them, we usually share a portion anyway so better than i would normally have...
Anyway have a brilliant day, hope you all manage to stay onplan xxMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0
