Had a good Day 2 so far. Successful shopping trip and kept to plan - even resisted a Krispy Kreme! But I think that's down to being able to fit in favourites like McD's if you need them - I enjoyed every mouthful knowing I could have it legitimately instead of feeling guilty & thinking Oh I've spoilt my diet now might as well pig out for the rest of the day/week/month!

    Stuffed now though!

Here's hoping Day 3 is good- my danger zone as have a study day so home alone with DD at school & DH at work I'm like most of you who see empty house as licence to eat - either that or get bored & want to go out for lunch which is happening too much & is not good for waistline or pocket! Trying hard to cut it down!

Enjoy what's left of the sunshine x

Hi Mrs_Ryan, what are the syn values for the midweek mini roasties? We have some in the freezer :-)

    Hi LLS :) it's 1.5 per 100g. I literally only have a couple but I count it for 100g anyway :)

Yemma- hello fellow OU'er! Which module you doing? I'm doing AA100 towards English BA.

On the torture implement- I mean exercise bike :D while OH cooks t. Spent all afternoon frantically finishing my NVQ as my tutor leaves on Tuesday and I asked if she could sign it off before then as I was about finished.

    Hope everyone's ok x

Please does anyone know how many syns in a Morrisons Meat free breakfast, cant find it anywhere.I didn't have breakfast this morning so it was a Brunch thing, 740 calories and not really very hungry so think if I have a light dinner it will limit the damage a bit.

Does anyone know if Alpen no added sugar can be used as an HEb? the ones in the book say the Dorset Muesli etc. but I have Alpen in the house. I'll syn it otherwise.
I found a post on Minimins from 2011 saying it used to be an HEb but no longer. Maybe that is still the case, oh well.

Hi everyone! I haven't been online for a few days so have lots to catch up on. I hope you are all doing ok.

I have had a bit of a low week. Been feeling quite down, but I am not really sure why. I am getting a decent amount of sleep each night, but still feel absolutely exhausted and really struggle to get out of bed in the mornings. By the time I get home from work I feel like I could sleep for a week. I saw the doctor a few months ago, before it got this bad, and she told me I am doing too much. But, with work, being a student, and being a mum, I dont really have the option to do any less and I just have to get on with it.

Anyway, this week has consisted of 2 take aways, 1 meal out and lots of crisps and biscuits. Somehow I have only gained +1lb. I don't know how it wasn't much more! I am trying to get back on plan. Have had a huge roast dinner today with loads of super free and have some berries defrosting for when the sweet tooth hits this evening.

No it can't be used as a HEB any more and it's 4.5 for 25g if you syn it.:(

I've had a fairly on plan day but when we were out DH decided he'd have a cream tea (only stopped for a cuppa) and a mouthful of scone with jam and cream came my way. I did enjoy it but why oh why is it so hard to eat healthy when you're out!

Did have a bit of a NSV as I'm convinced the sun brings out the worst in so many people. I saw so many in what must have been last year's (or maybe 10 years ago;)) summer clothes. But they obviously don't fit any more and they're bursting out of them. We are doing so well to get that weight off!:D

You did well do get away with a pound kitty. Be sure to stay on plan before anything else catches up although it is tough with everything you've got on.:)

Evening, glad it's been a good day for us all.

Sunday's menu started out quite well
Breakfast: mackerel in tomato sauce on hexb toast
Lunch: less than half pack of Batchelor's Cheese & Broccoli pasta made with hexa milk from allowance and butter (my share 60ml ss milk, 7g butter 2.5 syns), cherry tomatoes, Shape raspberry yogurt, banana

Then off to football where I had a Scotch pie (because everyone else was having one!)
Then, sadly, we lost so I was forced to comfort eat.
Dinner at DD's: delicious North Indian lamb curry with plain boiled rice, and a plain mini naan (8.5 syns), followed by a delicious lemon tart (just looked this up  20.5 syns , strawberries and single cream (2 syns - don't know why I bothered limiting how much I had when I see those tart syns!)
Snacks so far: Scotch pancake and raspberry jam (1 syn), Jacobs mint club (6 syns)

So, today's total - so far;): 40.5 + Scotch pie + Scotch pancake
Syns Bank: 14.5 - Scotch pie - Scotch pancake (1 day left before WI)

That defeat was a double whammy! I think I'm going to have to be very restrained tomorrow :(
