That's my favourite one or at least the one that best resonates tonight. I had a difficult work phone call and then fell into a wine glass.:o

Well at least you can't drown in a wine glass :D

How do you know the difference between old and new Alpen Lights?

The old ones say "70 calories" on the front of the box - the new ones say "97 calories" (I think it's 97 but not certain); so as long as they say 70 cals they are OK to use as HEB.

    Having a Red day today:

    B - bacon & mushroom sandwich (HEB1)
L - seafood salad with FF French Style salad dressing
D - beef & pepper stew, new potatoes (HEB2); the stew is from the freezer and I'm still trying to clear a bit of space so I can defrost - probably not the best food to be eating with today's forecast, LOL!

Syns will be wine syns while we're away for the weekend!

I probably won't be able to get online while we're away but food will be on plan tomorrow with a SW fry up for breakfast; sausages, mash & beans for lunch and burger & onions in WM bun for dinner.

No doubt Sunday morning will be another fry up for breakfast; no idea but probably a salad of some sort for lunch and I'll do a roast lamb dinner in the evening.

We'll just ignore last night to start with :/ brother got a new job and the parents decided we'd all go out for tea as we don't often have chance...their choice: the local Brewers Fayre and its all you can eat curry buffet :/ I went back for seconds and mum said 'good girl' and when I asked why I was informed by brother that I shouldn't focus so much on counting syns :/ well I did say yesterday was going to be my treat day I suppose.

Back on it all guns blazing today with:
B: oats and natural yogurt (1syn) left to soak overnight with melon and cherries added this morning plus some lemon curd for a tangy treat (2.5syn)
Snack: dad has cut up the rest of my melon and the whole pineapple I bought so yummy fresh fruit
    L: seafood sticks with salad
T: the roast pork we didn't have last night. Syns: little bit of gravy, small Yorkshire pudding maybe a roastie if I do them but looking at the nice weather I might not and may just do syn free veggies

    HeB: oats
HeA: I think this may be milk

Now last nights confessions: not too angry with myself about last night, its rare we go out for a meal and even rarer that I eat Indian/curry (as bf hates it) so I enjoyed it (I had plain boiled rice and no more than 3 tbsp of each of 4 curries (all veg based apart from one that must have been coconut milk/cream) then half a popadom and about half a naan plus 1tbsp mango chutney and 1tbsp raita) also had a dessert (even rarer as usually we say we will get something at home after then are too pogged) and managed to drink just half my white wine and soda! But that's over and done with now and I'm on to damage control mode. Did weigh myself this morning and was surprised to see the scales say the curry cost me a 3lb gain of weight I'd already lost this week! Not formally weighed in for the week yet (that will be tomorrow am) so we will see if it sticks

Hope everyone had better nights and are set up for a good day :-)

:Tmo3, great to have a loss.

lush, pleased that your brother got the job and that you enjoyed the Indian BUT.... I've always had the feeling that your family (and BF's IIRC) are out to sabotage you. Maybe not deliberately but they just don't quite seem to 'get' that you're serious about losing weight. But you proved them wrong before and you will again!:A

Have a lovely weekend denise. Weather forecast is really good.

I've done my meal plan and shopping list, so organised for coming week although a bit stuck for some meals but I'm sure inspiration will come.

    My EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
    L: egg and fried potatoes
D: SW burger, SW chips, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, peas
Syns: squirt of syrup, squirt of HP, wine syns

Looking a bit low on SFs so might call my burger HEB and go Green or snack on fruit (after shopping) and stick to EE.
