The bread is about 23 syns by my reckoning (assuming milk from HEA). Depending how many pieces you get out of it, it may be no more synful than ordinary bread. So I'd eat it and then decide if it's nice enough to use syns on another time.
Fantastic loss yemma!:T
I lost 0.5lbs. I'm pleased as it puts me right on my target weight. My diary looks like a pretty uneventful week coming up so hopefully I can get that down further before my holiday in a month's time.
beg, if you want to hide your legs why don't you think about a maxi dress? There are loads around in places like Primark, Asda and Matalan I you plan to grow out of them soon.;)
Had a massive lunch as I was hungry after just cereal for breakfast. Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB Shreddies, HEA milk
L: 3 sausages, fried vegchunky chilli, rice, wedges, peas
Syns: 1.5 for sausages0 -
That looks fab Meg, I could eat that right now.
Sorry I have been MIA, I have been busy with life. I have tried to stick to plan as much as possible and another -2lb for me please Shala
It's not going fast enough to my liking but I should just get on with it and not focus so much on the numbers.
I definitely need to be more organised, shop better, was thinking of starting online shopping, Asda has a deal where you pay delivery in advance for 3 months, makes it cheaper. Does anyone here does that and is it useful? Do other supermarkets do that too? I thought I saw somewhere that Tesco do deliveries from £1. I'll need to look into that when I have a moment.
Going to have a read back, lots to catch up on. Have a good day all.
I do the three months and it saves me because my usual times cost £3.50 there are also £1 slots but not at the times I want. Check the site and look at the chart then decide. You have to save money somewhere.:j0 -
Thanks, maman and sarymclary
Have made potato skins for dinner, pancetta and chorizo for the bf, spring onion and ham for me. They look nice!
Has anyone made carbonara with quark? I usually make it with hf creme fraiche but that's pretty high in syns, unfortunately.0 -
I am super-motivated at the moment (lucky me) but my DD is really struggling having lost several stones whilst being pregnant due to being sick every single day from conception to birth (and beyond).
I think, because her body was starved for so many months, every calorie she eats now is hanging on - she isn't even going to the loo regularly, so she's cheesed off.
I have been looking back through all the stuff I gathered during my time as a Consultant and came across these one-liners which I hope might help her and anyone else who is struggling at the mo:_
Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.
Commitment leads to action. Action brings your dream closer.
Ideas without action are worthless.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.
Knowledge is power, but enthusiasm pulls the switch.
A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.
You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
I really hope everyone can find one of these that strikes a chord and makes sticking to plan that little bit easierI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Been without laptop all day - DH finally sorted it.
Had a STS this week which I'm happy with as it means I'm 0.5lb under target weight.
Had an EE day today (but with loads of syns):
B - banana - after WI
L - steak and ale pie (25 syns:eek:) - was late back from shopping so just grabbed one of the pies I'd bought for DH
D - sausages, mash, roasted veg (1.5 syns)
HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
HEB - none yet
Syns: pie - 25; sausages - 1.5; 2 lollies - 6 = 32.5
So have used more than 2 days worth of syns today. Away for weekend again and will probably get through quite a few wine syns!
Will need to keep track and then work with what I have left Mon-Wed next week!
I tried the Mullerlight Capuchino, ice & milk last night - will definitely do it again - once my local Morries & Mr Ts have them in stock again - both had sold out today.

Hi new peeps!
Well done on losses. Lots of life going on for everyone, which is great to see. The motivational quotes are good - I especially like the drowning one.
