    well done jeanie :)

tried SW Jambalaya for tea - quite pleasant. Recipe for 4 so halved everything as it was for 2 and there was tons of it. As we have had our meal a lot later than usual I put it on smaller plates and saved some for tomorrow's lunch.

Might need a couple of squares of choccie to celebrate as hospital visit went well.

  • I've decided I'm going to try to avoid pasta as much as possible this week. The main reason is that I eat it too often and when I do I eat huge portions. I know it's free food but I thought it might give me a kick start to trying new foods, as I will have to think more about what I am having. Also, as I always do Green and rarely drink tea, I usually cover my pasta in 2 lots of HEA cheese and if I'm not having pasta I may be more inclined to mix it up with milk etc.

Today has been a Green Day

B - SW pancake, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, mullerlight.

L - Riso Gallo Mushroom risotto, with added leeks, onions, mushrooms, peppers, peas, sweetcorn and 1oz parmesan (HEA1).

    S - 2x70cal Alpenlight (HEB1)

D - Quorn chilli (superfrees included) and rice.

Syns - Tiny drop of white wine at a meeting tonight. Bet it wasn't even 3 syns worth!

So, I avoided pasta but overdosed on rice :rotfl:. I also have a HEA and a HEB left but don't want anything else so I will forgo them.

Tazzy, well done for avoiding the pity party. Love that you had "All BARN" for breakfast :p.

Well done janie on the loss. Not shabby at all
Went out for dunner with friend. Was being virtuous and ordered the special 'grilled chicken rice and salad' hmm chicken was basted, rice fried and salad had dressing. I did of course wolf down the lot with a medium glass of red, and had already had 3 syns during the day. But havent done my normal 'well i might as well finish those biscuits since i've blown it anyway'. Next time i'll stick to the spag bol!

I'm afraid I didn't, about 5 syns worth slipped into my mouth.:(

My back was playing up and I needed comforting. That's my excuse anyway.

Change of plan to day and had liver an onions with mash, peas, carrots and cabbage and syns in gravy. This was because I know I had more SFs for this than if I'd gone for the chilli. Plenty of LO veg for tomorrow.

Day 3 on plan mostly done.
Bar the cornflakes but they don't count anyway ;)

Trying to find a dress for a wedding :/
Anyone bored and fancy helping me find something that is
A- a dress (I normally am a trousers sort of girl)
B- can be worn with flats or a very low heeled sandally thing - I can't so big heels
C- suitable for wearing around a 2 year old with sticky hands and juices - ie no a lovely cream or pastel :/
D- not a clingy type dress - my stomachs still swollen from surgery and won't be toned by the wedding so I need something that looks flattering
E - says to people hahah look at me I used to be a size 22 now I'm a 12-14 (very childish I know but my entire life I've been the fat one and have people there that haven't seen me since I started sw)

Wow Mildredd - whatever you wear you're sure to look stunning.

I am an apple shape - carry it all round the tum and Trin and Sus are pretty good at suggesting dress shapes to flatter.

Not sure how tall you are or if you want mid or maxi but M N S Per Una have two that may suit? - though one is black and cream so maybe not with your toddler. I don't know how to do links but look for PU lagoon crinkle midi - lovely blues crinkle fabric so won't cling and fitted under bust line. Also not break the bank and could be used after the wedding. The other is Floral and Contrast print midi dress - similar style but not crinkle fabric. Other than that a friend used to wear those dresses that are pretty straight but have ruffles around and they detract from tums - she always looked stunning. Ruffles aren't me but may be you?

Whatever you choose have alovely day and enjoy the many many compliments that are sure to come your way.
