I lost 1.5lbs this week, which brings me to a total of 7.5lbs since xmas, which is pretty rubbish but i'll carry on. I had lost 9lbs so i won't do any fan fare as i'm only losing what i'd put back on..

    Have a good day xx

Delighted for you shala, you must be doing something right.;)

    Loving the honesty!!:rotfl:

Good for you jellybaby, what a right PITA! I'd keep quiet about your healthy eating plan and just let her watch the pounds slip away.

lush, I know your BF likes 'full fat' mince but are the parents the same?:(

I'm off into the city centre soon to look for some holiday clothes, especially sun dresses. If I'm hungry when I'm out I'll go for a salad from Pret or a JP. Not sure if it's going to be EE or Green depends what I have in town. SFs look a bit low.

    Today's plan:
B: NAS Ribena, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast
    L: JP/Salad
D: chunky beef chilli (tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers) with rice and SW chips/wedges

Haha can't belive people remember my complaints/slight rants about bf maman! Hehe! It's more a case of what's available in the teeny tiny local ASDA with my parents, it's their closest food shop othwise its just a handful of miles to Morrison's or Tesco but their car isn't too well :-( once I learn to drive and have the shiny Micra bf is eyeing up for me life will be easier :-P

GRRRRRRRRRRRRR STS for me this week.

So frustrated! Hubby has been naughty right left and centre with double deckers, chips, garlic bread and all sorts. Not done any exercise and lost 1lb.

I have stayed on plan (other then not have full hea) stayed within syns if worked out over the week, done some exercise every day and not lost an ounce.

If I look at my loss since the start I have lost 12 kilos (how I have the weight configured on my online slimming world) Which I know is good if I take it as a kilo a week for 12 weeks. But when I look at my week by week it goes like this.

    Week 1 - starting week
    Week 2 - 1.8 k loss
    Week 3 - 3.7 k loss
    Week 4 - 1.4 k gain
    Week 5 - 2.9 k loss
    Week 6 - 2 k loss
    Week 7 - 0.3 k gain
    Week 8 - 0.3 k loss
    Week 9 - 2.2 k loss
    Week 10 -0.1 k gain
    Week 11 -2 k loss
    Week 12 STS

So my patter so far has been loss, loss, gain, loss, loss, gain, loss loss, gain, loss STS

A STS is better then a gain but it would be nice to see something coming off every week. So want to have a massive chocolate binge and there are loads of my little boys Easter eggs in the cupboard calling my name but I am sitting here with a glass of water. Feeling like rubbish to sore throat, ears and have a terrible headache. All in all not a good day.

Only 2.2 kilos away from my club 10. Going to drink buckets of water this week and eat lots and lots of S and SS foods. Off to have a look at SS list now.

    I like this :D

It's my first weigh in tonight, bit nervous but I know I've followed the plan so I'm hoping for a decent loss.

    Yesterday was:

    Breakfast: muller light, banana, strawberries
    Lunch: SW quiche, tomatoes, ham
Dinner: bolognese, baked sweet potato, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower. 3 syns for red wine in the bolognese, but used extra lean mince.

HEB peanut hifi, HEA skimmed milk in two lattes, one with 2.5 syns syrup. One more syn for a mini meringue. I almost had a couple of snack a jacks to top up the syns "because I could", but resisted :)

Did ten minutes on the cross trainer this morning. Have to go slow with the exercise, had a back injury last year and there's still some nerve damage going on which affects my leg.

Those who are noticing a pattern to their gains - have you considered it may be a hormonal gain? Not just actual * week?? My week of gain/sts/small loss is actually mid cycle? It could be that ?
Or if your an older lady it could be solely down to hormones changing and settling down?
    Just a thought xxx

Good advice Mildredd, i read somewhere a long time ago that it was better to track your overall weight loss over the month as we have so many variable in our daily/weekly cycles...

Yemma - good luck for your first weigh in.. x

tazzy - you lost a lot the week before so i wouldn't worry too much about this week.. have you much more to lose? By my reckoning you've already lost a good couple of stone ( i don't get metric sorry :D) so well done :T

Did my Davina dvd again this morning, weirdly i've noticed that my trousers don't seem as tight around my thighs after this week, so hopefully it's toning them up a bit :jif i can get a figure like hers then i'll be well chuffed! :D

Having an internal battle with myself. I know over the 12 weeks my loss is good but not happy when I have a week I do not lose.

I have another 7 stone to lose to get myself to a healthy BMI so a long long way to go.

next time you're in a supermarket have a look at 12 bags of sugar. That is what you've lost in 12 weeks. That should give you the incentive to keep going.

I've been with SW for 18 months now and although I'm at target I only lost on average 1lb per week. Sitting in group listening to all the 2 and 3 lb losers every week was pretty difficult to get my head round but you need to look at the long term goals and and long term progress.

    Hi All

I have just caught up with the thread, I havn’t managed to get on, work went crazy on Thursday then I have kids clubs etc at night, just been a busy weekend!
I completed my 2nd 13 mile charity walk on Sunday, got caught in a torrential downpour 10 minutes from the end but it was a great day!
Sorry to hear those who are struggling just now. I agree with Maman, plan as best you can, I have given a few people a copy of the excel meal planner I use, it takes a bit of time to set up but I can now plan my 4 weeks worth of shopping/meals in less than an hour. It does take a wee while longer to batch cook them though.

If you would like a copy then PM me with your email.

I think what keeps me motivated is facing the scales on a Monday in class & having a gain. Since I started in January I had a gain the 2nd week in & after that either lost or STS. I too have 15 syns, never heard of only 10 if you have less than a stone to lose. I tend to do the same as Maman & drink most of my syns. :T

Shala, can you put me down for a 1.5lb loss this week please.

    EE Menu for me today:-
    B – Fresh Fruit Salad
L – Dyno Rod Soup, Fruit salad, FF Greek Yoghurt
D – Sticky ginger beef & noodle stir fry, side of veg

    Drinks so far – 3 x coffees, 1 green tea. 1.2l water

Syns – 1.5 for milk in coffee.

    Welcome back Consultant
