Grr my dad is such a saboteur!
I went food shopping with him last night and in to the basket when some lush white ciabatta rolls and two fruit pies (hence my wanting a sliver!) Then we've been down to their local little ASDA today and he's come out with white bagels (because I know how you like them) and iced donuts ('because I fancied one and thought you might want to share them) :(
My mum wants to lose two stone, a fact he well knows, and has been asking me to help set them all off on SW as my brother has a fair chunk he'd be better off losing too (dad wouldn't lose any as he has little to no appetite as it is due to his health) and yet all dad says when I say I'll do some SW friendly lunch plans is 'oh but your mother won't eat that' or 'she won't eat anything else at lunch time so he pushes in a makes her sandwiches...again :( bah

Oh well I have been very virtuous and had a jacket potato, fat free cottage cheese, some baked beans and a salad for lunch and I'm about to try one of these skinny cappuccino mullers :-)

Reading and dashing I'm afraid as I've got an evening hospital appt. :(

Well done everyone recording a loss this week. :T Sorry to hear that some people are struggling. I know its only week 3 for me and I know that their will be times when I will struggle but I know that I shall get plenty of strong support from everyone on here. Last week when I only lost 1lb I must admit I was a bit gutted but told myself I had a week of really healthy eating and that must be good. ;)

Love all the chat and hearing of everyones successes and struggles.

Good luck for your first wi yemma :)

    Hello.

Lantanna, I love your idea of breakfast!

    Anyway this was Wednesday's Menu.

Breakfast: fruit salad, 2 Ryvita Original (3 syns) with Quark and tomatoes
Lunch: 1 Linda McCartney rosemary & red onion sausage on Kingsmill Great White Roll (I'm presuming it's hexb like the bread) spread with mustard. ML orange & dark choc sprinkle yogurt.
The roll was one of those soft types that break up easily when cut/spread. BTW they were £1 for 8 in the coop.
Dinner: leftover campfire stew (2 syns) & green beans
Snacks (so far): Lees teacake (4), cherries (mmmmmmmm delicious), 2 x SF Werthers (1)

Still to have hexa, so will go for 3 mini babybel light with grapes

    Total Syns: 10
    Syns Bank: 79

    Happy munching!

shala~ How easy is the Davina exercise thing?
Mind you I am off Davina at the moment as I bought a Davina mini exercise thing to help build up my quads (which is one of my weak points) & the blooming thing moves when you peddle it.
What a bleeping waste of money

    Evening,

lushlife - at least you recognise the saboteur. Sometimes I struggled to notice when it was happening. Good for you staying on track despite it.

b-e-g - hope your appt. went okay?

lantanna - I can only manage a cup of tea for the first few hours of the day, so I admire you being able to stomach chocolate for breakfast. Did the rest of the day have a choccie theme too?

Today I have learned the vital lesson (yet again!) that labelling can be misleading, and despite saying low sugar/fat/good for you, it's not necessarily low in syns.

Today's plan has been : EE

    B - Danio yogurt (1), apple, banana
    L - Poached eggs, bacon, 2 x wm bread HeB + (4), spread (2). Strawberries, banana WW cream (2)
D - Boiled rice, chicken, Asda chosen by you sweet & sour sauce (6) - thankfully I had a small amount of the sauce, as OH likes a lot on his plate.
    HeA - milk in teas

    Syn total = 15

At least I managed some body magic in the garden today, mowed the lawn and tidied up for a couple of hours. It was so nice to be out in the sunshine at last, after all the rain we've had in the past week.

Baking for the next couple of days for an event this w/end, so will try to get online each evening. Will now sit and plan what we're going to be having for our dinners for those days, so I don't get caught out making snap decisions.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home
