    Thanks guys.

I always do green as I'm a veggie, however my old consultant told me to try and incorporate as much super free into it too, has anyone else been told this? I mean it makes sense and has worked for me when applied, just wondering if anyone got given this advice?

Yes I was given this advice too and I like them so much, especially for some reason, beansprouts, I put a pack of these in the fridge and like a handful to nibble on while watching telly beats the pack of peanuts I used to have, or the doorstop cheese sarnie,

Talking of sarnies I got the shock of my life yesterday, I didn't have breakfast before going shopping so around lunchtime I felt a bit sick and wobbly. I was in Wilkies and grabbed one of their meal deals, a trio of chicken sandwiches, pack of walkers crinkles and a bottle of juice.

Happily munched by way round the shops and market for fresh fruit and returned home for tea.

Well decided to put my glasses on and see what I had managed to consume calories syns wise. A Staggering 800 calories and 36grms of fat :eek::eek:. was to scared to even start working out syns.

Wont be doing that again and felt very sorry for myself as I nibbled my way through a plain salad for tea to limit the damage a bit.

I do a version of chicken jambalaya which is really tasty, easy one pot meal. What's your recipe denise?

Have a lovely time in France. We used to go regularly for a Saturday/Sunday trip when P&O sailed to Le Havre out of Portsmouth. It's a 5 hour trip but breakfast/drinks/dinner on the boat were all part of it. These days I have more time and tend to go for a few days when I can.

Where are you going to eat? (excuse nosiness:o).

I've had a SW breakfast but I'm off out to lunch (again;)). I'll probably go off plan (again;)) but I've worked out I've got more than 5 weeks before my holiday to lose 4lbs so I think I can risk it.

Lots to answer but here goes:

Chicken jambalaya recipe - I fry off some chopped up chicken breast (or sometimes just use skinned thighs on the bone, depending on what's in the freezer), remove from pan. Then just fry off some chopped up onions, garlic and loads of veg. Sprinkle some chilli powder & cayenne pepper over. I use about 1 Tbs of chilli & 1tsp of cayenne but you just need to add to taste.

Add a tin of chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, some stock and some rice - need to make sure everything is covered, put the chicken back in and give a good stir.

Bring to the boil and simmer for about 10 minutes then put into my thermal cooker for at least an hour but usually leave it for at least 2 hours.

The speedy jambalaya on the SW website isn't bad either and cooks really quickly, I think probably because there aren't any veg which need a long time cooking - it just has onions, garlic, peppers & courgettes in.

Where are we going to eat? Not certain yet but probably the restaurant near Auchan, Calais - think it's called Le Bleriot. They do a good 3 course meal including wine for about £15.

Enjoy your lunch out. I know what you mean about "you can risk it" to lose 4lb in 5 weeks - although it can sometimes be difficult to rein it back in because life gets in the way:rotfl:. I'm half pound under target weight so not too concerned about a meal out in France, plus I'll have Monday to Wednesday to cut back on the syns.

I don't think our consultant has ever said this but it makes sense to eat as much SFs as you can as they provide plenty of bulk to make you feel fuller for longer. Fruit and vegetables are also very healthy so it's important to enjoy as large a selection as you can manage.

    Today's EE day:

    Breakfast - Mullerlight, Banana

Lunch - Scrambled eggs, baked beans, muchrooms, grilled tomato, orange

Tea - Chinese chicken curry (Mayflower Curry Sauce Mix = 4syns), boiled rice, grapes, Cappuccino Mullerlight (very nice:)).:rotfl:

Just wanted to ask how much of the Mayflower Curry sauce Mix do you use to get 4syns, I have 3 boxes of this to use up, I have been avoiding it as thought it would be very high in syns but if a portion would only be 4syns it is worth doing. I really like this sauce it tastes exactly like the take a way curry I have sometimes.

Google tells me on a number of pages that it is 4 syns for 28g made with 100ml water. I like this too and have been known to have my HEXA cheese on this for cheesy chips and curry sauce... just me then :rotfl:

its the weekend, always happy to see it even though I work Saturday and Sunday, strange I know!

So today will be known as double decker gate. Get in the car today and notice something in the drivers side door, (OH is the driver) Bright orange, pull it out 3 double decker wrappers. He bought them when at the shop one night and scoffed the lot. Then came home had a packet of crisps and a curly wurly. I have told him he does not have to do SW but he says he wants to and has been moaning about his trousers not fitting him. Told him I am just going to let him get on with it. I am sticking to SW and will be making SW meals if he wants anything different he can sort himself out.

Breakfast - all bran golden crunch, banana, strawberries, skimmed milk.
Dinner - spag bol (with loads of super free veg in) pasta and muller light greek style
Tea - more spag bol (made loads) pasta and salad
    Pudding strawberries and vanilla quark

Snacks - thai mug shot, apple, banana

    Hea - milk in cuppas
Heb - all bran golden crunch

Syns thai mug shot 0.5, vanilla quark 2.5, Suchard Hot Chocolate tassimo 3, vodka 4 - TOTAL 10
