ahhh ok , thanks Tazzyb. i do need to sit and read through properly.. i managed to scan quick and do a tesco shop last week getting a few of what they said were the store cupboard basics.. i have my 2nd meeting toniight but i am going to make a real effort to meal plan for the week ahead tonight..

have had a sw caramel and choc light bar (3 syns) today for brekkie and will have bacon omlette at lunch and tonight im planning on fry light eggs x2 and sw chips.

my meeting isnt until 7.30 but last week went on to after 9pm !

i wont be too disappointed if i havent lost any as ive not really given it a fair chance this first week.. i knew it was gonna be a bad one but i didnt want to Not join last week. otherwise i may have left it another month LOL

Can I suggest you sit through the New Members talk again tonight? You may find it helps you to understand the plans a bit better. My consultant is happy for anyone to sit in on the new members talk whenever they want to and it can be quite useful as a reminder of what you are supposed to be doing, as you can get a bit complacent when you've been doing it a while.

Just back from WI and shopping and amazingly I've lost 0.5lb - absolutely no idea how as I certainly didn't expect it after the long bank holiday weekend - in fact I was probably only on plan for 2 days out of the last week!

Need to try and rein it back a bit this week as I don't want it catching up with me next week!

    Hi all

I'm having a rubbish day. Not food wise, just having a wee bit of bother with unwanted, misplaced attention from a friend. Didn't sleep well at all and really busy at work, all I want to do is lie down and pull the duvet over.

    Anyhow, another EE day -

Breakfast - 2 banana weetabix with milk (hexa and b)

Lunch - loads of orzo pasta salad, 2 satsumas, strawberries and Muller Light.

Dinner - using up salmon, potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower and sweetcorn.

Off to catch up with you all x

Just had a quick read through the last few days worth of posts and there have been some brilliant losses.

:hello: to newbies. Good luck to you all.

Hoping that the gp is happy tomorrow that the antibiotics are doing their job otherwise he was talking of me going to hospital to get them iv.

    Today so far

B - grapefruit and 2 kiwi (hope they work their magic)

L - jacket potato with prawns, extra light mayo and tom puree, cherry tomatoes and large green salad.

    Later planning to have

D - Cottage pie with brocolli, cabbage carrots swede. Fruit salad with sweetened ff yoghurt.

S - 2 weetabix (HeB) with ss milk (Hea)

    BGTY mayo 0.5 syns
    LTL salad cream 1 syn
    gravy 2 syns
    brown sauce 1 syn

Optional malteaser bunny 3 syns - chocolate finger 1 syn

Re the malteaser bunnies - we received a couple of packs of these for easter and didn't get a chance to eat them before starting SW. So we are rationing them out for a nightly treat. Before SW we would have opened the bag and shared them out with batting an eyelid

    Take care everyone

No, they're not there but Brie & Ham crepes are 16.5:eek: They're probably less than that but might have oil so still highish I would think.

I thought it was one third superfree Maman?

You're absolutely right topgirl, probably a Freudian slip as I'm obsessed with SFs! :rotfl: I think alongside planning it's probably the most important element of SW.

beg, I do hope the antibiotics work for you. One tip I'd pass on is that if you make cottage pie (or any other mash) with swede or swede & carrot rather than potato then it ups the superfree. Ideal if you want to do a bit of Success Express.

Well done on having a loss denise. Like you I have to really rein myself in this coming week. Its probably psychological but I'm feeling thinner already now I now I only gained 1.5lbs, making me just half a pound above target. I have two meals out planned for the coming week but around those I'm going to be positively angelic.;)

Phew, I know you're a bit of a guru so I was panicked then :D

It's 2/3 on Success Express isn't it? Or 1/2 or something?

I agree it's hugely important for the water/fibre, certainly helps me when I'm heavy on them.

Revised menu today as I've * week and felt a bit glum just now.

B - Bacon, egg, 1/2 a tin of plum tomatoes
    D - SW quiche
Snack - Trimmed pork chop sandwich in great white bread with 2.5 syns [I think, 10g at 54 cals?] of lurpak lighter, it was so good with a cup of sweetened tea :D followed by 1/4 of a pineapple and 2 kiwis for my SFs :D
T - Mushy pea curry and SW chips, maybe some fruit after.
Snack - Mackerel pate with carrot sticks and celery

    HEXA - milk/cheese
    HEXB - WHITE BREAD

Syns - Butter 2.5, options 2, so first banked syns of the week hopefully :D Might have a bbq beef deli noodle box at 1.5 later if I'm still feeling bleurgh and greedy.

Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing ok.

I think I have had a red day today, but was wondering if somebody could please check my menu as I have not done red before.

B: alpen light (no time for anything else as I was on a course) HEB1
    L: wholemeal roll HEB2 & ham
D: spinach stuffed chicken wrapped in bacon, tiny amount of smash (2), broccoli, baby corn, extra light mayo (1)

    HEA is milk I drinks.

    Does that sound right?

    Evening all.

Frogga - :rotfl: you made me laugh too :rotfl:

I can't remember who suggested apple & mango squash with diet lemonade, but whoever it was, thank you very much. I had some tonight and it was delicious!

Hope all goes well tommorrow, b-e-g.

Feeling a bit bloated myself today, don't know why :( No doubt it'll sort itself out.

    Thursday's Menu

Breakfast: ML rasp yogurt with dark choc sprinkles mmmmm and a banana, 1 of my hexb toast with jam (1 syn)
Lunch: Ainsley harriott spice sensations couscous (2 syns), with total 0% fat Greek yogurt and pomegranate and rocket, iceberg lettuce, chives and tomatoes
Dinner: grilled salmon, noodles and stir fried veg (0.5 syns), followed by ML vanilla yogurt & kiwi
Snacks: Alpen Light 70 cherry bakewell (3 syns)
Supper: I have 1 hexb slice of bread and all my hexa allowance, so it'll probably be toast and 30g cheese and some grapes
    Total: 6.5 syns
    Bank Balance: 82 syns

    Good luck all.
