Frogga - you had me LOL there! It's a good tonic at this time of the morning on WI day!

I'm expecting a gain this week after a very flexible long weekend which carried on until end of Monday when we went to an all you can eat Chinese and they didn't even have boiled rice so had to have egg fried!

Today is going to be another EE day:

    B - banana - after WI
L - seafood & smoked salmon salad sandwich (HEB)
D - chicken jambalaya - a great one pot meal which I can cook in my thermal cookpot when I get home after WI and shopping and it'll be ready whatever time DH wants to eat

HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day as usual.

No idea what syns will be today but will probably have a fruit split this evening.

    welcome ttc39.

Have a good read through your books and things will become clearer.

    The different symbols mean

S - speed food - this will speed up your weight loss
SS - is super speed - as above but faster
F - good amount of fibre
    FF - even more fibre
H - healthy and full of stuff we need.
    HH - super healthy
    C - high in calcium
CC - even higher in calcium

    Hello and welcome.:)

Every day the plan advises Healthy Extras. HEA tends to be from dairy (cheese or milk) and HEB from fibre (bread, cereal etc). As you've joined you should have a number to let you access the website and there are comprehensive lists on there.

Most consultants now just describe the Extra Easy plan but the Original (Red) and Green are still in the book and still going strong. Green is particularly suitable for vegetarians or people who don't eat much meat. The big advantage of Green and Red over EE is that you can have 2 HEAs and 2 HEBs a day (EE it's just one of each). So 2 HEBs could be two slices of bread for a sandwich lunch. You can change plans but you have to do a complete day of one plan.

One initial that tizzy didn't list is SF (Superfree) which is most vegetables and fruit. You must have one third of SFs in your meals on Extra Easy and I think it's a good idea on the other plans too although not essential.

So, if I was looking at your menu for today:
B: sw caramel and choc light bar
    L: bacon omelette
D: fry light eggs x2 and sw chips.

As you've had no SF veg or fruit it's better to call today a Green day. So you're allowed 2 HEAs (HiFi bar is one, bacon is the other). You're allowed 55g of cooked lean bacon. I think you might be able to have two HiFis but I'm not certain.

You've not listed any HEAs at all. Maybe you have milk in coffee or tea? Or add some cheese to your omelette?

Overall I don't think you've got much food listed at all so you'd probably lose anyway to start with by eating less but that's not what SW is all about.;)

I went to WI this morning and gained 1.5lbs. I'm relatively pleased with that and it's motivated me to get it off ASAP.

    My EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB Shreddies and HEA milk
L: cold beef, beetroot, LO veg fried
D: SW Burger, SW chips/wedges, tomato, mushrooms, fried onions and maybe mange tout
