Mildredd I don't know your story but it sounds as though you've been through the mill. Wishing you all the best for a quick recovery.

SeaBee Glad the wedding went well and you enjoyed your weekend. Well done on having a loss too.

ilovetea I'm no spring chicken and don't exercise either. Hopefully, as I lose weight I'll be in less pain and then be able to increase my mobility. I tend to lose only 1lb a week but have lost a little more during the last 2 weeks when I stuck to the Red plan.

I've decided to do the Extra Easy Plan this week as apart from the odd day, I haven't tried it before as I wasn't sure I understood the plan properly. I'd appreciate it if anyone could give my menu for today the once over and let me know if I've got it wrong.

Brunch - Scrambled eggs, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms.

    Snack - 2 mandarins, grapes.

Tea - Mince and chunky vegetable sauce (tomatoes, onions, courgettes, peppers, mushrooms), pasta, Eton mess (3 syns)

Supper - 3 Babybel Light (HEA), 2 Alpen Light (HEB), Hilights (2 syns)

    Good loss dd!

You did really well too MrsR, back on track after your blow out at the sponsors' dinner.

That sinus op sounds dreadful Topgirl. Fortunately I've just got irritating catarrh at the moment, especially in the morning, but I've had it since Easter and getting really fed up with it.

Today didn't work out as well as planned. Food was OK but as I had my 'Sunday' roast today and it was a holiday I had wine syns. Better day tomorrow.;)

The proportions of SF to free food look fine for EE jeanie. I understand why you had a brunch today as it's been a holiday but if you did that every day I'd be saying maybe not enough food especially as you didn't have any carbs with your tea. If I had mince with tomato/vegetable sauce I'd always have pasta or potatoes.

Thanks maman. Brunch was a one off because I had a lie in and was late getting up. I do normally have a bit of breakfast and then lunch later.

I did have pasta with my tea, I just forgot to enter it but have amended my post now. Well spotted!:)

Back from my weekend away and finally caught up with all the washing - last load out on the line as I type!

I think I can call up to until this morning "a write off" - have probably had a week's syns if not more; was having about 20-30 a day and then last night went to a Chinese all you can eat buffet for DGS 16th birthday!

I'm not felling hungry this morning so haven't had any breakfast.

Will probably have a ham salad sandwich for lunch (HEB + 1 syn for LTL mayo instead of spread).

Tonight's dinner will be coq au vin with boiled potatoes (1.5 syns) - recipe from SW World of Flavours book.

Mildredd - glad you are beginning to feel better after all the problems you've been having. Don't be jealous of the motorhome - it costs a fortune to keep on the road, costs fortune when we go away (we eat out far too often) but even so I have to say I love it too and wouldn't be without it!

Ilovetea - I'm also another older lady who doesn't do exercise and has got to target but only losing 0.5 to 1lb a week so did take a bit of time.

Just off shopping now as need some more fruit and veg - I always seem to be buying fruit and veg, we get through so much now. My DH never used to eat veg but now he loves it, especially roasted!

    Morning all

Well the holiday weekend went far too quickly and I was really good and stayed on track. Only blip was a slice of black pudding on my plate on Sunday morning. I ate it, despite not liking or having it for at least ten years!! Tasted not too bad as grilled but not something I'll miss in future. Anyone any idea how many syns in this? I've counted 6 at the moment.

First weigh in tonight so trying to have a light day!

Breakfast - wholemeal roll (hexb) with bacon and tomatoes

Lunch - tuna with huge salad, strawberries and two satsumas, Muller light

Dinner - (after weight in!) Salmon, potatoes, cabbage. Plums, mango and pineapple for dessert

Away to catch up with you all over the weekend x
