Hi everyone
Not a bad day today. I still have my 'delicate' moments but not feeling as bad today. We've been to the Designer Outlet village today. I bought two lovely Superdry t-shirts.. One medium and one large.. From the ladies range :j before I used to squeeze into the XXL in the men's range :j I was too shy to try them on in the shop (plus it was really busy and being on crutches I was just getting in everyone's way) so I bought them and prayed they would fit. I tried them on in the loos and both looked fine- in fact I'm wearing one now :j I also bought some lovely cropped Adidas bottoms for the summer, some lovely camis from M&S outlet, and a water bottle and an armband to keep my phone in when I go walking.
Hi Mildredd- hope you're feeling better. Basically it's doctor (or rather spinal consultant) 's orders with the BM. He tells me I have to keep moving even though some days it's near impossible
Been to group tonight- 2lbs loss. Not too bad considering the enormous overindulgence I had last Tuesdayand the fact the only BM I've done this week is hobbling round the shops!
Today's menu plan:
B: 2 Ryvita Cracked Black pepper (3 syns) with pease pudding and lean bacon; cup of coffee with HEXA milk
L: MugShot and coffee with a little HEXA
Snack at group: HEXB Seductive Salted Caramel HiFi, bottle of Sprite Zero
T: White fish, mushy peas and 100g of Tesco Reduced Fat straight cut oven chips (4 syns), cherry Mullerlight and exactly 25g of Milkybar mini eggs (6.5) NAS Ribena
S: Cheese twist (2 syns) apple, NAS Ribena
Syns: 15.5 (slightly over I know- oops)
Hope everyone's ok x*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Good evening - it's a pity the weekend is coming to an end
tazzyb, thanks for the reassurance re green menu; meant I "saved" 6 syns (definitely need after Saturday, lol)
frogga, you had me laughing out loud with your scary/hairy mclary. Don't you be hopping off under a bush now.
TopGirl, ilovetea, jeaniej52, well done on losses (If I've missed anyone, I'm sorry).
ilovetea, I'm an ancient person too, and lazy - my hobbies are all sedentary!
jeaniej52, hope you've recovered from your fall.
Mildredd, well done you. I hope you're regaining your strength. It's good to have you back.
SeaBee, we all knew the cake would be a hit, well done. Wow you're a powerhouse, flitting seamlessly on to a house move.
dincanada, are you ok?
I've been quite good again today :A (well, so far, anyway)
Breakfast: hexb 30g All Bran, ML raspberry & dark choc sprinkle yogurt, banana
Lunch: baked potato with Heinz 5 Beanz, mixed salad, an orange
Snack: jumbo caramel snackajack (2.5 syns)
Dinner: SW chips, hexa 30g cheese, 50g ham & chive omelette, lettuce followed by strawberries and 0% natural Greek yogurt.
I think that may be another Green Day, but it doesn't matter if it's not as I have plenty of syns left today (although I really need to save them to recover from Saturday!).
I'm planning to have last of the hm veg soup for supper.
Total: 2.5 syns
Hope I've done enough to have at least sts WI tomorrow.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Thank you for your congratulations.
I'm okay thanks Mildredd, not sure it's sunk in yet, funeral is a week tomorrow, but that's a massive hurdle due to estranged and unpredictable family members, dreading it.0 -
Shala- how was jury service? I hated the case I was on and even now 2 and a bit years on find my self wondering if I voted correctly on a couple of points (was a majority verdict anyway so my vote wasn't a deciding one but I do wonder)
Loved it thanks, wish I could work there but it's a bit far to travel every day. We had two cases, both unanimous votes only, but I think we all knew they were bad un's in the dock.
It was a great experience and although we did a lot of waiting around I really enjoyed seeing the process and also seeing how it all worked.
Back at work today, back to routine.. I was quite busy so not much time to think about eating but I've felt all bloated and uncomfortable all day too
Tomorrow we have chip butties for lunch so i'll use my syns on a few chips... might take my scales in to weigh the chips :rotfl:
Green day
B - banana, yogurt
L - chip butty (heb & 10-15)
T - pasta, gammon (heb) passata, cheese (hea)
S - apple, milk (hea)Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

Glad to hear it. I am convinced they keep things nice and regular, and have one either daily, or every other day. I also am inclined to think they work fairly swiftly too, but in a 'normal' effect way.Hold the phone, there is a free WHITE BREAD?
Please give details - packet, quantities etc.
Also I love how another poster presumably slipped up and called you Scarymclary, I'm afraid I'm the kind of irritating person that that will stick for, forever. Sorry ScaryMc
The high fibre white bread is made by Allinson. It's lovely too. I've only managed to track it down in Asda so far, but I don't have massive supermarkets in my town, so if you have larger ones near you, you may be more lucky. I get them in my online delivery. It's an 800g loaf, and you can have 1 slice for a HeB.
Here's the loaf : http://www.allinsonbread.com/high-fibre-white.htmlI thought it was Scary Mclary? From Donaldson's Dairy? No? Oh, no that was Hairy Mclary? Ooooo tmi, perhaps someone had a date with a ladyshave and changed names. None of my business
My username frequently gets mistaken for being Scary, and I just accept that. It was a nickname a guy I knew from NZ gave me, as my name is Sarah (so that's where the Sary comes from). The Hairy Maclary books are written by a NZ author. Call me what you like, I tend to answer to most things! As for the ladyshave... ooer missus!
Mildredd - hope you're feeling less sore soon. DS is now job hunting, but the upside of him not being in work is that he has now had a couple of days free of vomiting - the first in over 7 months! We're seeing it as a good sign, and maybe it was worth losing the job for after all. Silver linings and all that... BTW he's tried a multitude of anti sickness meds, none of which worked so far.
Seabee - so glad the wedding went well, and the cake was a hit, but fitting in a housemove with your daughter too - that is a busy weekend.
Can't remember who it was that was struggling with sinus problems. I feel your pain! Struggling with mine too, as that's where this ruddy cold has decided to settle, along with a chesty phlegm cough.. Lovely!:D
Re. the body magic question. I'm in my late 40's, and don't do the exercise I feel I should. Our consultant has often said that SW plan should work regardless of how mobile you are. It can help with reaching target, if you've lost a fair bit, and the loss slows down. I guess you'd feel more energetic if you've lost a lot already anyway. I try to keep moving when I can, although I'm lucky to not have mobility issues. I stick to a bit of walking, pottering in the garden, or doing the housework. I keep intending to go regularly to an aquafit class, but not managed it yet.
Well we turned up for WI tonight, only to find the class wasn't on! No sign pinned to the door last week to advise the time of WI was changing, so rather annoyed at that, and nothing mentioned when we were paying or weighing last week. The ladies would know that we don't tend to stop each week, so that is a pain. My sister is going to go tomorrow evening, but I'm at a meeting. Now I have to figure out when else I can get to class, as the next on is Weds. am, but I'm meant to be 24 miles away at my hairdressers an hour after class starts... I'd be cutting it very fine trying to do the two, plus the SW class is a busy one, usually with a long queue. May try to get there extra early, and be one of the first through the door, so I can get on the road again. Our consultant is a lady of 'rather mature' years, who doesn't do anything online, so we don't have a facebook group, or any support in that respect, which is frustrating.
I don't want to miss out on WI, but it's tricky fitting it in, and most other meetings are all morning ones, which I can't do as I'll be working or out.
Food plan today : Red/Original day
B - Danio yogurt (1), banana
L - Bacon sandwich (HeB 1 & 2)
D - Bacon, poached eggs, 2 slices wm bread (10), beans (4)
HeA - milk
Total syns = 15
Spent the day doing some pottering about with housework and ironing, washing floors, etc. That's the extent of my BM today. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Thanks pleaseletmebe lucky - justy off to put lotion on my hands and run them up and down my neck. Have also been pulling faces in the mirror!!! Why is it my weight always goes off my feet and face first?!
2nd week Weigh in tomorrow - fingers crossed.xJuly 16 £95/£200

I pass five different supermarkets on my commute, I am STALKING this bread. Although I can't have white bread without butter or cheese, which may prove problematic.
You can be Scary McClary when I am off plan, I need a good telling off at times.
I sympathise wholly re. sinus pains, I suffer/suffered for years. I had THAT sinus op where they widen the passage for you though and Christ, I'd give birth 40 times before I would go through that again, and I had a 48 hour labour  but it has eased things slightly as I have bad hayfever and dust allergies...0 -
