    My day today will be....

    B. Museli A/B. Blueberries, raspberries
Snack. 2 fibre crackers, Jacobs . 4. Syns butter 3 Syns

    L. Big bowl of veg and lentil soup. Banana
Snack Walker's lite crisps 5 Syns

    D. Chicken fillet, potatoes, mixed veg. Fruit.

    A milk B cereal
    12 Syns
    Water NAS Vimto

Not one ounce this week. That's 2 week of staying the same. I despair !!!!

It's hugely frustrating but I think you may still be making some mistakes with the plan. Apologies if you're not as it could just be the detail missing from your menu.

Are you sure it's a muesli that's allowed as a HEX? Do you weigh out the quantity?

The fact that you don't like much veg isn't helping either especially as peas aren't SF so don't count on EE. I think that SFs are the answer to SW whichever plan you're on but you'd be far better doing Green to be on the safe side as SW don't insist on the one third on Green.

I often have tomatoes and mushrooms with main courses (burgers, fish, gammon). I put them in the oven for about 15 mins when I'm doing my SW chips/wedges. As the weather seems to be picking up, why not try having lettuce, tomatoes and beetroot with your meals rather than the mixed veg which I think contains peas and sweetcorn? Some people have soup before a meal to fill them up/cheer up a cold meal. That might be worth a try.

I looked on line and the only white bread seems to be the gluten free ones.

Can I ask if you are all young fit things or old codgers like me?
Just wondering as I think lack of exercise is holding the weight loss up a bit.

I'm certainly no young thing;) and living proof (through sheer idleness on my part) that it can be done without exercise. I got to target with an average loss of 1.5lbs a week by a very scenic route. It can be done!

I'd suggest that you need to post your meal plans to help you get confident. Some of us post them as a way of keeping a food diary or to help organise ourselves. If you post yours we'll gladly give advice if any tweaking needed.:)

30 minutes body magic done in the shape of a run which almost finished me off after a four day exercise break.

I'd recommend the couch to 5k podcast plan for anyone wanting to start exercising, I've gone from having pneumonia in Jan to being able to run for half an hour, three times a week, without stopping.

I'm a single parent who works and it is a struggle to find the time sometimes I will admit, some 'weeks' have taken me ten days to complete, but I've got there in the end. Not driving means I usually manage at least 15-20 minutes body magic most days just commuting and going shopping but the runs do seem to boost me.

Wiz, Maman, regarding swapping to red/green instead of EE - this in no means encourages people not to eat healthy veg/fruit and is more to encourage Wiz that it can be done... but i lost 3 stone the first time i did SW on red/green days and i don't think i ate that many vegetables or much fruit.. i just didn't like either.

So Wiz it can be done but you do need to weigh your food more as your portions of meat (on green days) or carbs (on red days) are very specific and smaller than you'd imagine!

I know you're experimenting with cutting out bread products this week, so hopefully you'll have a happy result and well done for sticking to it when many may have given up x Good luck x

    shala -2lbs please.

I had a fall in the street on Thursday which left me grazed and bruised and then to top it all, I developed a stinking cold.:( I didn't feel up to standing preparing and cooking food (I can only stand for short periods at a time anyway due to arthritis) so the SW plan more or less went out of the window. Apart from a couple of meals cooked by my husband (not healthy), I've mostly lived on cereal, sandwiches and fruit for the past few days. I know I had a lot more bread than I should have but it was wholemeal and I did try to keep it under control. Still, I expected a gain, or at best a STS when I got weighed this morning so was pleased to see a 2lb loss.:jI'm just hoping all that bread doesn't catch up with me next week...:rotfl:

Anyway, as of today, I'm back on plan so fingers crossed. Good luck for this week everybody.:)

Hi Maman, thanks for checking. The museli is 30 grams asda salt and sugar free. But, if it's not allowed I won't have It again, I don't have it that often. The mixed veg does have peas and sweet corn, but there are green beans and carrots. Can I have homemade wholemeal bread,
I will try and eat tomatoes and mushrooms .when my chips or potatoes are cooking.

Great losses coming in this morning - well done everyone :T. Hugs to all the people who are struggling for whatever reason. Stick with it and with the help and support that is here - I am sure you will get there.

Another proper golden older ilovetea. At the moment I haven't given body magic much attention but I am trying to be more active around the house, walking to Mum's sometimes (only 5 mins :o) and then of course we have the grass cutting (at home and Mums). I am hoping that once the numbers start reducing hopefully the activities will start increasing (fingers crossed).

    Todays EE plan (maybe) ;)

    B - grapefruit

L - salmon with vegetable rice (loads of veggies), strawberries with sweetened ff yoghurt

D - Jacket potato sardines in tomato sauce with large salad (Salad Cream 1 syn)

Saving HEXa and HEXb for a cheese sarnie when I get back from wi and also intend to attack my easter egg (half egg = 13 syns)

Catch up with you all later.
