Hi b.e.g we used to do this too, however we got told it was now syn-able as it abusing the free food rules:(
I think if you are doing this then the official rule is that you have to syn them using the highest syn value for the product I.e. Red day syns for chickpeas I guess..
Oh dear - bang goes that idea thenI don't want to be done for abusing me chickpeas. Still cannot work out why heating them in a pan is free yet heating them in the oven costs you.
Thanks shala anyway.

Blue eyed - pretty sure when you roast them you dry them meaning you would eat more volume therefore more calories worth.
shala_moo - have my own business this was a brand new shop. I must be off my head though have 3 shops to look after now.
Breakfast - all bran golden crunch, greek style muller light, banana
Lunch - pasta left over from last night, baby bell light, banana
tea - chicken, potatos, cauli, carrots, mushy peas, gravy, jelly with yoghurt
Syns - tassimo creamer pod 2, dairy milk 10, jelly 1, greek style muller light 0.2 gravy 4 TOTAL 17.5 (wish I had not had 40gm of easter egg now! feeling poorly and thought I would treat myself then checked the syns. A curly wurly would have been better and taken longer to eat)
Snacks - apples, melon
Going to have another look at the green days and maybe try one or two in the next week. Hubby is excited about the prospect of extra bread.
Just had a look so basically its like EE but without unlimited lean meat? So if I have a full veggie day with no meat/fish I can have the extra hex? (as I will not be using a hex to have meat or fish)0 -

That's the way I do it. I don't eat meat and very little fish so green days suit me perfectly. If you want meat/fish some are HEb in small amounts, and some cheese is included on the HEb list too. Two of each on green days means I can eat a proper cheese sandwich without feeling guilty!0 -
tazzy, that's what I was thinking about Green days. I've not counted any menu as green before so I'm asking if my today's menu would be ok.
Breakfast: hexb1 porridge made with water, little milk, banana
Lunch: hm soup
Dinner: egg mayo (1) & cress hexb2 sandwich, WW raspberry tart yogurt
Snacks: 3 werthers original (3 syns)
Not had much to eat today anyway (I didn't get up until almost noon) and then got distracted and didn't have breakfast until about 2pm) If I don't eat early on, I find I don't seem to get hungry! I had a different dinner in mind for OH and I, but he didn't get home from bowling until too late to be bothered starting to cook. I'm a bad wife.
I have to get back on track after yesterday's debacle, so even if it doesn't work as a green day, there are only 6 syns to add for the sandwich. I'll probably have hexa 2 mini babybel light (allowing for the little milk I had a breakfast time) and some grapes for supper.
So Total Syns: 4 or 10
Syns Bank: probably none after yesterdaySewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

Green, red & yellow pepper

Simmer til soft, blend if you like...
I sprinkle a few crushed chillies in and crush in a couple of garlic cloves. Enough for a week there and it gets the, erm, metabolism going...0 -
sarymclary wrote: »Wizkid do you have the SW books, or are you able to access the online site for the lists of Healthy Extras? Generally speaking, you have to have a high fibre bread to count as a healthy extra, so any wholemeal bread (5 syns or 1 HeB per slice from an 800g loaf or 60g roll). The only white bread on the list is the new Allinson loaf that has wholemeal in it. Any other white bread is too processed, and has too little fibre in it to give you any benefit.
Hold the phone, there is a free WHITE BREAD?
Please give details - packet, quantities etc.
Also I love how another poster presumably slipped up and called you Scarymclary, I'm afraid I'm the kind of irritating person that that will stick for, forever. Sorry ScaryMc0
