WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW THANK YOUUUUUUUU :j

I made this tonight to take to work tomorrow and it is delicious. I used 80g lighter mature cheddar so that 1/4 is 1/2 my HEXA as that will be plenty for work with a big salad. Ended up eating an impromptu piece tonight as it smelled so good :D

    On point again today:

B - Trimmed bacon, poached egg, tomatoes, mushrooms, 1 x toast
D - Ham and egg salad, apple, banana, pineapple and kiwi, Alpen light bar
T - A piece of quiche, a small helping of SW korma

HEXA - 1/2 milk, 1/2 cheese on quiche
    HEXB - 1/2 toast, 1/2 Alpen light
    Syns - Options 2

Body magic - 30 minute run

    Tomorrow looks like this

    B - Mushroom omelette

D - SW quiche and salad made from lettuce, tomato, cucumber, peppers, gherkins, pickled onions and beetroot, then pineapple and kiwi chunks, apple, banana

T - SW chicken korma with vegetable rice and wholemeal pitta

HEXA - 1/2 milk, 1/2 cheese on quiche
    HEXB - Pitta
    Syns - Options 2

Body magic - 20 minute walk

Determined to be super free for as much of the week as possible

Any experts who can see if/where I am going wrong, tell me please :o

My husband went to Morrisons today and I asked him to get me some Fromage Frais for a recipe I saw on this thread. The trouble is, I can't find it now and I can't remember what it was for either. I think it could have been for a low syn meringue, or something... Does that ring any bells with anyone?

He brought a great big tub of it but as I've never used Framage Frais before, I have no idea what to use it for. Any suggestions or recipes will be gratefully received.:)

Not sure if either of these would help you use it up, but I found them on the SW website:

    http://group.slimmingworld.com/recipes/creamy-chicken-pasta.aspx

    http://group.slimmingworld.com/recipes/creamy-chicken-korma.aspx

If you're not signed up to the online site, I will copy and paste them here, or I can send them to you via PM, just let me know.

Well I've just blown my diet. Trains majorly delayed so can't get home only food place open was Mcdonalds

As disastrous as it seems, McD's isn't actually the worst fast food you can have. You can even make some choices within plan: 3 x chicken selects is 13.5 syns, a 9 box of chicken nuggets is 13.5 syns, a 6 box is 9 syns. I choose a 3 piece chicken select, with a 99p garden salad, and coffee, and that's within the daily syn allowance. If you've already had syns, the grilled chicken salad is only 1 syn, so you could have a grilled chicken salad 1 syn, apple pie 12.5 syns, and a tea, coffee or diet drink and have 1.5 syns still left for the day! It's just resisting the fries, or the burgers/wraps you have to master.

A tough week for you Beanie, take care of yourself lovely lady x

Thank you LordDuke I took your sound advice, and went into the meeting with a positive attitude, and it seems to have worked!

Becks, I'm really sad to hear about your cat's passing. As tough as it is on the family, it's far better when they do leave us quickly, rather than a drawn out inevitability. I lost my lovely cat a year ago, and had to have her put to sleep. She was 14, and had been absolutely fine until she had a problem with one of her ears. Turned out to be cancer, which we had operated on and the vet expected that to be the end of it. It grew back almost immediately she'd recovered from the op, and just got worse. She had another op, and they realised it wasn't going to get better. She was fine in herself, so we let her just enjoy what time she had left, then one day I came home, and she just looked suddenly different, just in the space of an afternoon. I knew then we were going to have to say goodbye to her, and a few days later we did. It's heartbreaking, but at least we can do that final act of love and kindness for them. They are like a member of the family. My boys even refer to our remaining cat as their sister, so that's how important pets can be. Thinking of you all xx

Blimey MrsR, it's really not been your day has it? I'd have an early night and get it out the way if I were you. Hope the bee sting isn't too sore.

A mini beef pastie fell into my mouth this afternoon :/ Just as well I'd got some syns in hand today, so at only 5.5 syns my total is still only 13.5.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

In class last night a few of us decided to try a mini scan bran challenge, I've also decided to mix up my HEB a bit as my losses have slowed down. Anyone got any good suggestions for scan bran? Today I mixed 3 with frozen mixed berries and yogurt ( left in fridge overnight) it was pretty good tbh. I then mixed the remaining 2 into my speed soup tonight and again not too bad.

Shala I think I forgot to post my WI from Sunday, it was 1.5lb off

I have been so busy with work and home life, haven't had time to read or post. Going to do a catch up today. I am still on plan but struggling a bit. I need to get my head in the right place with it, and just get on with it. I keep sabotaging myself.

Off to take DH to work then a bit of shopping, housework etc and then a catch up on here with a cup of tea..... Have a good day all
  • Annie, have you tried the chocolate scan bran cake?
