Hi everyone
Well I went and joined my local class last night. Few pounds heavier than I thought I was  Anyway, even after three years away still recognised a few faces and made to feel very welcome!
So I'm starting with a green day. If I've got anything wrong somebody shout at me!!
B'fast - 2 x toast (hexb) with Philly light chives (hexa)
Lunch - HUGE mixed salad with beetroot, picked onions and gerkins. Squirt of l/f salad cream (2) and Activia rhubarb yog (1/2). Strawberries and apple.
Dinner - Spanish omelette with tinned potatoes, onions, mushrooms, peppers and chives. Raspberries, mango and pineapple.
Other hexa gone on milk for coffee and keeping second hexb and remaining syns for toast or weetabix tonight.
So far, so good!0 -

My husband went to Morrisons today and I asked him to get me some Fromage Frais for a recipe I saw on this thread. The trouble is, I can't find it now and I can't remember what it was for either. I think it could have been for a low syn meringue, or something... Does that ring any bells with anyone?
He brought a great big tub of it but as I've never used Framage Frais before, I have no idea what to use it for. Any suggestions or recipes will be gratefully received.:)0 -
Hi everyone & well done to all you losers!
Just had a quick read to catch up on all your posts - you are all so inspirational!
Mrs Ryan - sorry, but I did have a little chuckle at the split trousers!
I'm back on plan this week, but feeling a little demotivated. Lots of last minute plans and changes to work rota etc have meant I have strayed from my meal plan. Luckily I had a few tins in the cupboard than were only a couple of syns each, but I dont feel I have had anywhere near enough superfree and I have maxed out my syns every day. I have had a nice day off today, been out shopping. Stopped at wagamama for lunch and had ginger chicken udon. I have searched online and found it is about 19 syns!!! I don't understand how what's basically a stir fry can be so high in syns? I know they use fresh noodles and oil, but still....19 syns??? Luckily I didnt finish mine, so will count it as my full syn allowance for the day and have no more syns tonight.0 -
Well I've just blown my diet. Trains majorly delayed so can't get home only food place open was Mcdonalds0

Sea Bee, your cake is amazing! I'm in awe of your achievement. You are clearly capable of doing this professionally, but I know what you mean about taking your time, not to mention the responsibility! Well done. :T
Mrs_Ryan, that's just a blip. All in all it wasn't a great day for you, what with the gain, the troosers and the bee. That's 3 misfortunes, so you're good to go again now.
joedenise, thanks for the info. I thought it might be something like that - it's a clever idea.
Well, did a lot better today, synwise, although I have to confess to having TWO jumbo caramel snackajacks late last night, so another 5 syns there.
Wednesday's Menu
Breakfast: beans on 1 wee hexb toast, WW citrus fruit yogurt, grapes
Lunch: scrambled eggs on 1 wee hexb toast, banana
Snack: choc digestive (3)
Dinner: leftover chilli, baked potato (and NO added extras), Hartley's 10 jelly (0.5)
I know I'm short on sf veg today, but it's end of month and I'm determined not to buy anything else before Sunday! I am making the effort to waste less so I've challenged myself to use whatever's in the house in the last week in the month. I can see it leading to some strange combinations!
Total so far: 3.5 syns
Syns bank: 71.5 (5 days to go = 14 per day)
Hope tomorrow is a bright day for everyone.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Hi all!
Well done to all of the losers, some fab losses there. And welcome to the newbies.
We had some bad news at the weekend, the family cat had to be put to sleep due to bad health, she was 16, so a huge part of the family and it came as such a shock as she was fine one minute, and at the vets the nextUsually I am most definitely an emotional eater, and this news would have tipped me over the edge, but this time I have been 100% on plan and ploughed myself into exercise instead. I am now on day 6 of the 30 Day Shred, and already feeling the results. WI tomorrow, I've heard that during the first week of exercise like this there is most likely to be a gain, but I plan to take some measurements instead as I can already feel a difference in my clothes.
Hope everyone is doing well, there were so many pages to catch up so apologies I haven't mentioned anyone in particular, just hope everyone is on plan and sticking with it.0
