Did you make that SeaBee? That is lovely. You have a talent there x

Well done to everyone in the great weight losses x

I went to group tonight and lost another 1.5lb. Interesting group, the scales wouldn't work and the consultant was told by head office that she had to charge us all anyway as we are paying for the image therapy rather than the weigh!! Presumably, that means that if we don't stay in a normal week we don't have to pay!!

The poor consultant was really upset. Someone went and got their bathroom scales and we all got weighed on them. I think there will be a few complaints to SW head office for what they made the consultant say.

Thanks Shala, I will allow myself a few treats over the next few days, but I will try to reign myself in

32b - yes, I made every single petal, lol! Started in January and finished making the roses last week! It's a hobby I enjoy, but I don't think I could handle doing it professionally - I'm too slow for a start! :rotfl:

Evening all! I think you may have started a new challenge, but as I get married on Saturday (eeeeeeek) I think I best not join in this one. I'll be on honeymoon for a couple of weeks anyway.

Good news is that this week I lost 1.5 lb bringing my total to 1st 8.5lb. Very pleased - I think that's in about 16 weeks, so a good average. My aim is always 1lb a week.

Sorry I've not been posting much - just crazy last minute arrangements. My dress is a size 16 (although it has a corset back, so I'm actually really an 18) and I am SO PLEASED that I've made the effort to lose some weight.

Good luck everyone, see you in a few weeks :j

Have a lovely day on Saturday. You've done so well to lose those pounds and I'm sure you'll feel (and look;)) better for it. Be back soon to continue the journey.:)

joedenise, what's a thermal crockpot? (too lazy to google - I'll get distracted!)

It's yet another gadget! It is a fairly large container which is double walled (like a flask), inside it has a cookpot which you brown off your meat, soften onions etc, then add stock and bring to the boil and then simmer for anything between 5-15 minutes, before putting into the large container. It also comes with a smaller cookpot which you can use to cook something to go with your main meal or even a pudding! Both go into the large container and then you just leave to cook using the heat you've put in by simmering - just like a flask.

It's really useful if you travel and want a meal when you get there as it keeps hot for up to about 6 hours but is usually ready to eat in abour an hour or so.

Welcome back Joedenise, we've missed you!

Thanks. To be honest I'm quite glad to be back to eating more healthily again. The first thing I done when I got home was to have some wholemeal bread with my jambalaya as I'd only been eating white while I was away!

Enjoy your wedding and your honeymoon. We'll "see" you when you get back.

Today's going to be a Green day for me:

    B - beans on toast - HEB
L - egg salad with FF salad dressing
D - cauliflower cheese - HEA/HEB for proper cheese sauce

Other HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day.

    Sorry for the long post!

    Denise
