If not too late could i join with a target 12. WI tomorrow. Have just had the layered oats (on webpage) for breakfast. Used lidl frozen fruits of the forest - slightly tart so added sachet of sweetener. Lish :P

Morning, I've added you.. :D good luck!

Helen, great loss again... :T:T amazing! Glad you are getting lots of compliments..

Mildredd, glad to see you back.. :j:j hope your recovery goes speedily.. Xxx

Seabee, hope the wedding cake goes ok! We'll need a photo of it Wednesday I think just to check;) :rotfl:

    EE day for me today

B - none, lazyitis got me and I was in bed :o
    L - ham, cheese 0.5a, roll b, crisps 4
T - chicken, sweet potato, salad, corn, pickles
S - satsumas, muller light, milk in tea 0.5a

Still got 11 syns if the munchy monster gets me...

I'm on jury duty tomorrow again, so not sure what my eating will be like.. The canteen there doesn't exactly have healthy options and the chips smell like they've been cooked in 6 week old oil _pale_ so at least that puts me off.

I've bought some belvita to eat, I know they're high in syns but hopefully it'll stop me snaffling on nasty sandwiches/pasties..

    Have a good day.. X

  • morning all,

sorry for what I assume is a really stupid question! but am gonna ask it anyways

Theres a recipe in this months good food mag that I am gonna make which serves 6 and uses a cheese topping. Now I am only making it for myself so will have 5 leftover portions tonight.

Am i right in thinking that the cheese on top I can use as hexa (its mozzerlla and parmeson) for each portion I eat. Rather then synning the cheese?

Shala - when I did jury service they said the credit on the jurors canteen card would be paid to us at the end? So I never went the canteen gross! I walked into the town n got a nice lunch which I was later reimbursed for?? Double check as people were bringing packed lunches and saying they'd rather have the £5 or whatever is it each day at the end? Xxx

Same here, we get over a fiver each day. I haven't been there a full day yet, but we've never been sure of what's been going on so I've not eaten anything substantial as we haven't known whether we had time to eat or not and we weren't allowed out :(

The two half days I've done I've literally eaten an Alpen bar and a banana  I was starving by the time I got home so picked up a sandwich (mass syns) both times..

This is hopefully my last week so if I can struggle through, I'll try and get back on track next week..

Cake isn't good for syns.. I think it'll range between 4-6 syns per 28g! Which is probably a few crumbs worth :(

It's the butter and sugar I'm afraid... Oh and the flour.. It's only the eggs that are free :rotfl:

Yes, you're right you can count the cheese as HEA. It's hard to advise specifically without seeing the recipe but 30g of Parmesan or 45g of 'normal' Mozzarella counts as a HEA on EE so you'd need to work out how many of those divided into the amount of cheese in the recipe and syn any extra. If it was a Green recipe (meat free) you could have two lots of cheese HEXs in a day.

Still feeling fat:o but I have two meals out and a weekend away coming up so I'm just doing my best in between.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, 2 fried eggs
L: some sort of leftovers from fridge
D: roast beef, roast potatoes and parsnips, red cabbage, cauli, broccoli, carrots
Syns: squirt of HP sauce, gravy and wine syns.
