Evening all. Late posting today as it's been a bit manic!
Well done on the job Sary!! and hugs for everyone else that needs them.
Update on yesterday's plan:
Didn't make the hummus for lunch as it took longer than planned to shop for cake ingredients and to get them in the oven, so made do with 2 ryvita, 2 laughing cow blue triangles, some pickles, carrot and celery for lunch. As predicted, 2 spoons of cake mix fell in my mouth so didn't have any other syns.
Today I was going to try again to make the hummus for lunch, but we had an appointment that went on longer than planned so it was rush back home in time for friends who were visiting. Knocked up batches of fruit and cheese scones, but didn't have any with everyone else. However, they didn't leave until gone 3 so I ended up succumbing to a cheese scone with butter for lunch after they had gone. Dinner was left over quorn moussaka with a jacket potato. No syns today as trying to limit the damage from my lunch.
Back at work next week and not out this weekend, so hopefully things will settle down, though I have a wedding on Thursday and will be away until Sunday, so goodness only knows what will happen!!0 -

Top Girl, I'm sure the crustless quiche IS in the May mag. I think it's just a wee bit lunch in the sample menu, not a main recipe.

You're my new favourite GT, I'll find it when I'm home, I think I might have seen it on the korma page, thinking on.
My reasoning is a colleague, skeptical of SW, bought a crustless quiche from a supermarket this week, which was RANK. I said SW do one, he said it would be rubbish.
So I'm perfecting SW quiche. Then rubbing it in his face. Not literally, alas I don't work in a circus...0 -
WELL DONE SARY:j
Lots of great losses being posted, well done.
Hidden my scales this week as I keep hopping on them, fingers crossed for Tuesday. Aiming for 2 long walks this weekend and some R&R.0 -
Does anyone have the recipe for free crustless quiches please? If memory serves, they have courgette, red onion and mushrooms in? Thought it was in this month's magazine, but can't see it. Quantities and temps and times please...
Best I can offer is tortillas/frittatas (or as mildredd and I make them they often come out as a sort of hash as we don't use enough eggs to set it properly;)) I fry some sliced potato (canned works well) with onions, peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and anything else to hand on the hob and then when it's all softened and browned I pour in a mixture of a couple (or more if you want) of seasoned beaten eggs with a splash of milk. Cook this as you would an omelette and then brown under the grill with some HEA cheese sprinkled on if you have any. Delicious hot or cold IMO.
I'm still suffering from Easter weekend blow out.Wore skinny jeans out tonight and was conscious of thunder thighs and muffin top. I think it's only obvious to me and fortunately spurs me on to stay on plan as much as I can.

Well I am back after a fabulous time in Amsterdam, fatter and exhausted, I don't know how much I have put I as resisting the scales until I go to class on Tuesday, know I have put on as had to undo the button on my jeans on the plane back as very uncomfortable.
Bonus though too tired to go shopping and not feeling like eating much,
I really did my bit to eat for England and my DGD discovered syrup pancakes and insisting on sharing bless her .
Will be very very good now until Tuesday.Slimming World at target0 -

Good luck for Tuesday Annie - hope you get a good result. I had hoped to manage a couple of walks this week but it just hasn't happened, its either been a lack of time or lack of inclination. I'm also suffering from a painful heel which doesn't help matters.
If it's not too late can I join in with the challenge please (no problem if I am too late). I think I will go for a 20lb loss (this will take me under the 20st mark.. Go to class on Monday for first weigh in so will report back then.
Having roast dinner tonight - using some syns on Aunt Bessie Yorkshire Pudd
Hope you all have a good weekend.
