Hi everyone
Well I posted here a few months ago saying I was going to join you all and I have done absolutely hee haw, nadda, nothing. Work trousers getting tighter forced me to weigh myself this morning and I've put on even more weight:eek:
I intended to do the plan myself as I'd been to SW years ago and due to ill parents, work, kids etc I couldn't make it along to class. Well I promise here and now that come Tuesday night I will be in class, fully signed up and on plan. I'm clearing all appointments and visits on Tuesdays for the foreseeable future, this is going to be my time.
I've been reading back and everyone is doing great and so inspirational, especially those with lots on at the moment and still thinking about SW and staying on track.
I'll let you know how I get on on Tuesday but have bought the new magazine in the meantime so away for a browse.
Take care x0 -
Morning everyone
Amber and gbatey thinking of you both and your mums
Sary congratulations on the new job
Unfortunately I have not had a good start to the challenge after succumbing to an emotional binge, so I have a gain of +1.5lbs
Have drawn my line and am back on track. Good luck to everyone for the coming week.

It's a grim, wet day here so CBA to venture out and do any proper shopping. I'll go either tomorrow or Sunday morning so in between I'm doing my best. Although I've been more or less back on plan since Tuesday I'm still feeling fat after Easter break. It's probably all the meals and drinks catching up with me.:(
So scratch EE menu for today:
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: JP with cottage cheese and beetrootsausage, mash, onions, carrots, peas
Syns: gravy, scrape of spread, 1 syn for sausages
May or may not have wine syns. I'm going to a show but feeling really yuk (head full of catarrh after a cold) so may pass on interval drinks.
Menu is a bit low on SFs so could be Green but the sausage syn value jumps to 4.:(
I'll just keep plodding.;)0 -
Thanks for the lovely warm welcome. Things are starting to click into place. Did SW 18 years ago and the EE plan is so different. I think it will be better once I can clear my head of the old red and green. Did big food shop at Mr. S's this morning (had smug smile on my face at how healthy my trolley looked).
Only biccies were rich tea fingers. Will get the little branded food book on Monday night as I used to find this helpful. I also used to use the large food directory but that was before we had access to stuff online. Do you find this book helpful? Anyone use any phone apps?
I always seem to struggle with fat free yoghurts and desserts made with artifical sweetener. Will probably use syns on odd biscuit or bit of chocolate to get my sugar kick.
Can I ask about the weight loss challenge. When does it start (take it I missed the start) and how long does it run for?
Would love to have time to read the whole thread but that is just not going to happen so I will try to keep up with everyone from here.
Have a good weekend everyone
