Same from me amber.:) Of course you need to be strong for your mum but that includes healthy too. Try not to eat too much junk it'll just make you feel worse.blue_eyed_girl wrote: »Morning everyone

You're very welcome b.e.g. Just ask if there's anything you're not sure about. My oh my it' a slow process. Does anyone know the secret how to lose more than. 1lb ? I. would dearly love to know!!!
Hopefully you'll lose a little more now that you've got your head around the plan. You could try having more variety in your meals or focus on superspeedy fruits like melon and berries. Are you being careful measuring your cheese/milk/meat for HEB?
I'm finding it a bit hard getting back on plan. My menu yesterday was good but then had some cheese and crackers in the evening.:( Must try harder.
EE menu plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB Shreddies, HEA milk
L: probably a bit of stir frySW burger, SW chips/wedges, peas, fried onions, tomatoes, mushrooms
Syns: squirt of HP sauce with burger
I'm not going to WI today so please put me down for STS on this week's challenge Shala.0 -
Morning everyone
Amber, so sorry to hear about your mum, hope all goes well with surgery next week. It's an awful disease, but it can be beaten! Stay strong.
Welcome B.E.G - we're a friendly bunch and support is always there for those that need it
Wizkid - when you find the answer please share, I get very disheartened when progress is so slow, the trouble is I fall off the wagon when it happens and make it worse for myself, so keep plugging away at it.
Update on yesterday's plan - stuck to it, but didn't have the curly wurly in the end, I had another Shape yoghurt instead (loving the pineapple and coconut ones), but apart from that deviation everything went as planned
Today will be another green day
B - fresh pineapple with Shape 0% yoghurt
L - SW hummus made with chickpeas, roasted red pepper, garlic and lemon juice. I will have this with 2 x ryvita, carrot and celery sticks
D - SW Moussaka made with LO quorn bolognese from yesterday and served with salad
HEA - milk in coffee, cheese in moussaka
HEB - Ryvita for lunch, Ryvita minis as a snack
Other snacks will be SF fruit if I feel the need
Drinks will be fruit tea, water, NAS squash
Not decided on syns - though I am making chocolate fudge cakes today so some of the mixture may fall in my mouth :rotfl:
Have a good day everyone0 -

Basically due to my rock, my mum, aged 49, just discovering she has a tumour in her breast and has to get surgery next week and chemo my world has been ripped to pieces.
Sw went not only out the window, I think it made it space with amount of crap I have eaten
Gonna try pick myself up and stop being selfish as my mum needs me now more than ever.
So yes, there is my not so cheery post, hoping its onwards and upwards from here.
Sorry to hear your news, I hope all goes well & I agree with everyone else, you will just feel worse if you eat junk, you need to be strong for your mum now xxblue_eyed_girl wrote: »Morning everyone

Welcome to the thread, if you need any help just ask, there is usually someone around.
Well Epic fail for me last night, I am not a binger at all, usually quite strict on myself, long story short kids totally stressed me out last night whilst out shopping, hubby nightshift so there was crisps, biscuits, chocolateused 40 syns

Being as syn free as possible the rest of the week so todays menu I think will be a success express one to give me a wee boost
B - Melon, strawbs, alpen light
L - Speed Soup, melon, strawbs, plum, alpen light, muller cheesecake yoghurt (1)
D - Salmon done with paprika, broccoli, cauliflower, sprouts, fruit, hea of milk
2nd HEA & HEB will be weetabix or raspberry shreddie things for supper with a bit of fruit
Have a good day all x:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

I don't know if anyone else finds the same but i love to have something sweet after a meal now I was trying to be good and have fruit but it is just not hitting the spot and yesterday I may have blown 40 syns :eek: yes you read right 40 syns on a chocolate easter egg. I think I am almost at TOTM but still there was actually no excuse. I am raging with myself this morning but am just copping myself on and getting on with eating better. I managed a 2 mile cycle yesterday which was positive as I still can only walk about half a mile since my operation so can't exercise properly.
So after all that blathering on my question is what are your top tips for a chocolately/sweet treat.
I know curly wurly and that are 6 just wondering were there any others people like.SPC #352

Hey everyone, thank you so much for all the lovely wishes. The interview went well I feel, I liked the place and the people too. I know they're interviewing today as well, so I have a 1 in 12ish chance. Will just be down to if my face fitted. I wore a nice dress & jacket plus heels, and felt good
Now away at a friend's until tomorrow evening, so probable lack of posting.

I like to make up a hartleys SF Jelly, pour into large wine glasses (just to make it fancy), mix quark, vanilla mullerlight & sweetener to your liking, I then mix through blueberries, top it on the jelly & decorate with strawberries. I have also mixed both white choc & belgian choc options through quark (I hate quark btw) & its absolutely delicious, white was very sweet but very delicious! All for very low syns, I am sure I have a pic on my phone, will see if I can post it
Or a "cheesecake" melt an alpen bar (old style) in micro for 10 secs, flatten into a circle for a "base" then top with quark mixed with options & strawberries or whatever you fancy, very filling! for 2 syns x:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T
