very good food day (porridge, Sw chow mein, chicken salad) but as officially non school night I do tend to use my syns on alcohol.... rum and diet coke as opposed to wine but do need snacks... unlike friday non school nights though, at least spinning makes me feel slightly less naughty. Have come to conclusion that this is a life style change and not a "diet" so forbidding alcohol is not a sustainable approach (reducing to non school night is)

~Feeling good, numerous lovely comments at work re : weight loss. Plus have old size 14s trousers that now fit.

Still long way to go but so much easier than last time (IMO)

Ill be around when I'm back to normal xxx

Nice to see you Mildredd, and sounds like you've been through a very tough time, but here's wishing you a pain free, speedy recovery. We've all been thinking of you, so pleased you have been able to pop your head around the door. Take care.

Tizzy I hope you've now got things resolved at home. Disagreements are never nice, but it can make choosing the right things to eat more difficult. I know I will often respond to emotions by eating very badly, and that then makes me feel doubly worse.

I've not planned today's meals yet, still enjoying my second cuppa laying in bed watching TV. Will update later, have a good day all.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Mildredd - lovely to hear from you. Glad that your op is over and done with (even if it didn't go exactly to plan) Here's to a pain free future :j

Busy day today - been in the kitchen since 7 making the layers of my daughters wedding cake. I've also made a tonne of chocolate ganache and am just about to start on the butter cream. You will be pleased to hear not a morsel has passed my lips.............. yet!! :rotfl:

Plan to get them all prepped and ready for icing after work tomorrow. All the flowers and decorations are made so it will be a case of transporting it to Kent on Wednesday night and then stacking it at the venue early Thursday morning. Fingers crossed all goes to plan. Only a hobby baker - goodness knows how people manage to do this full time! Hubby has taken himself out on his scooter - can't think why! :rotfl:

Today's plan will be EE again

B - grapefruit with ff greek yoghurt, cup of fruit tea
L - Ryvita (HEB) with laughing cow blue cheese triangles, pickles, celery and carrots
D - left over beef casserole from yesterday with brocoli and boiled potatoes

HEA will be milk in coffees

Not planning on any syns as I am sure I will need to taste test the cakes ;)

Have a lovely day everyone :)
