Mich's recipe for speed looks the same as my super speed one tbf, it certainly works.
I prefer it done in the slow cooker for about 5 hours with the bare minimum of fluid, with red split lentils as standard and added garlic and crushed chillies. I then blend it and portion into 6-8. I have it with some form of protein, usually a steak or salmon fillet or some SW chips usually, unless I have had a big dinner or tea and I'm topping up with this.0 -
That speed soup sounds nice, will give it a try during the next week.
A green day for me today:
Breakfast - 35g porridge oats (HEB), Summer fruits, Mullerlight
Lunch - Cupshotz, Mullerlight, grapes
Dinner - Vegetable Chow Mein, 2 mandarin
Supper - 40g reduced fat cheese (HEA), 2 w/m bread (HEB)
Highlights (2syns) made with milk (HEA)0 -
Well, I've had a visit from an old friend who knew my brother with pizza and a couple of beers and tales of old times - can't remember how to spell reminiscing, I don't think - so I have written today off, I did stick to 2/3 of my plan, which is better than most days lately.
Very quiet, sedate day tomorrow doing Top Boy's Easter family visits, then his half-term homework, so I intend to stick to SS soup, celery and dust.0 -
Hiya
Sorry I've been AWOL. Haven't been too well with my back and have been mainly lying on the sofa with the curtains closed unable to face the worldI had to go for my occupational health appointment today so I had to get dressed and walk around but a bit of a struggle
I had so much body magic planned for this week but my back is utterly borked so not a hope
I'm not weighing in Monday as OH wants to go out for the day so the next time I WI will be after my ball when I will have a stonking gain
Thursday's menu was:
B: HEXB Seductive Salted Caramel HiFi bar
Snack: Cheese Twist (2 syns)
L: Tuna, beans, Uncle Ben's Thai Chilli Rice (2.5 syns) Mullerlight
T: Tesco Healthy living chicken in basil and tomato sauce (1/2 a syn) steamed mixed veg, apple, Mullerlight, Chokomallo (3 syns)
S: 2 Ryvita Cracked Black Pepper (3 syns) 2 HEXA Laughing Cow light blue cheese, MugShot, cuppa tea with HEXA milk
Drinks: Diet Pepsi, NAS cordial
Syns: 11
Friday's menu
B: Mixed frozen fruit, Mullerlight
L: Fish (it is battered so there will be syns but it's Sainsburys Be Good to Yourself so it's low in fat and calories, I'm going to say 8) Smash, beans. Mullerlight
T: I'm going to the rugby so I'm taking my HEXB HiFi, 2 apples, and a fruit pot. Plus a bottle of Diet Coke.
Normally I would take chicken chunks as well but no meat as it's Good Friday.

Happy Easter everyone,
Whatever your doing and whatever is going on with you and yours at the minute I wish you all a peaceful Easter! For those struggling and going through a difficult time - it really is swings and roundabouts isn't it.
So o.5 lb on for me last night
Can't complain as I deserved it and I have lost steadily for ages - still met my challenge so all good.
Time to get back on it properly and chase this black dog away for good.
You''ll see I have changed my target in my signature - think I'd like another stone off which would make me feel happier overall and still keep me feeling comfortable in my new clothes without dropping another size!
I'm right back on it this morning - time to get my mind and body sorted.
Either off to the gym or out for a walk tonight. Going for my first ever run with a friend in the morning, going to ebay my too big clothes and read my book for my book club, clean my house and then go out on Monday for dinner and drinks with my sister.
I hope to goodness this keeps me well and happy and this depression eventually lifts.

Hello - I have been reading this thread for a few weeks. I have been going to a SW class and lost 16 lbs, but have had 3 class leaders in as many months and tbh I just go along to be weighed now. So decided to keep the fee and treat myself and join you friendly bunch if you will have me.
Can I join the new challenge and would like to lose 10 lb (cannot work out how to make it go red) ?
