Ooooh thanks! The chicken one I bought is 1% fat so sounds like it might also be free? Hmm.. didn't realise there were UK and non-UK ones (first time I've seen any of the packaging today) - will go off to look on Mr T's site to see if there is a picture of the UK ones there to see if that's what I have or not
As I understand it, if the "mug shot" writing is in red it's UK, if it's black it's not.

That's right. I have only re-introduced a squirt of syrup or tsp of brown sugar since getting to target.HelenDaveKids wrote: »Yes, ideally, though was tops more than bottoms, be pleased with 12-14 as a target to start with. I bought a few size 20 items just before Christmas and that was the catalyst for this change.
That's much what happened to me. I was bursting out of 16's and flatly refused to admit I was an 18 so took myself off to SW and the rest, as they say, is history!:D
Had my pub supper and it wasn't good (synwise).:o Was pleased that they advertised 'iffits' on the menu i.e. if it could be done the would. So if I'd wanted a steak with veg and plain new potatoes they could have obliged. Worth knowing.
Have a hug beanie. Weightloss is such an emotional thing.:A0 -
It is two years this weekend since my dad died.
Where does the time go??!!!
Big, big hugs Beanie, it's an emotional time so don't give yourself a hard time about a bit of comfort eating..
Well OH bought home some lovely bread earlier and as I'm stressed baking novelty cakes I dived in, plus I've had cake batter to test...but it's weigh in day so I'll count it as my weigh in treats and get back on it tomorrow!
So menu for tomorrow - green day
B - banana, yogurt
L - spaghetti on toast (heb)
T - pasta bake, bacon (heb) cheese (hea)
S - crisps (4.5) milk in tea (hea)

Sary - hope you get to the bottom of it with the hospital, i get increasingly frustrated with my consultants too. Give them a good kick up the ****
His consultant was actually rather defensive in his attitude and tone when we saw him, as he'd tried to say last month my son was better. I pointed out he's not, he's getting worse, and was rushed by ambulance to A&E a week ago, that's far from better.Just a quick one ill post later properly
Hi to all newbies
-1/2lb today which ill take given my secret snaffles this week and complete binge on sat night of nearly 30 syns in maltesers
Scan done - I have gallstones surprise surprise now a week wait for my dr to get the results for me to make an appointment to then get referred back to the hospitalwhat a long winded process :@
Wow! think even we could have told them that! It's such an odd process nowadays isn't it? Hope you're feeling okay at the mo though, and at least it's now going to start the ball rolling.I have really lost the plot big time.
The chocolate monster has taken up residence & I don't think they are leaving any time soon.
It is two years this weekend since my dad died.
Where does the time go??!!!
Beanie, if ever a time for chocolate was needed, I'd say now was it. Anniversaries really are hard, and I can't say they get any easier tbh, but you learn to deal with them better. Take care, and be kind to yourself. You have all the rest of the year to deal with not eating chocolate.
TOOMUCHWORRY - magic porridge is your 35g portion of HeB porridge, mixed in with a yogurt, such as a mullerlight. Some like to do it the night before, and leave it to have in the morning. The porridge absorbs the moisture, and really thickens up the yogurt to make it very satisfying. I sometimes add a bit of milk to mine too, because it can get a bit thick. Then add in some fruit, and it's a very filling breakfast, and quick and easy to prepare too, or even take with you in a container for brekkie on the go.
Well, I've really not been on plan particularly for several days now. Yesterday involved a Frankie & Benny's and some McD's chicken bites and a mini wrap. Totally got to get a grip.
WI today, and it was +1.5lb gain. I deserved that, and then some! Got a WI on Monday next week though, so only 4 days to pull that back.
Food plan today - has been better thankfully, but that's not hard to do considering...
Plan: Green Day
B - Activia creamy yogurt (2.5), banana, apple, satsuma
L - 2 x slices Allinson whole white, Philadelphia chives light
snack - Muller 0% greek yogurt (0.5)
D - Rustic chips (2), eggs, bacon (4), baked beans, ketchup (1)
Snack - hm small cake (4)
HeB 1&2 - 2 x bread
HeA 1 - milk
HeA 2 - Philadelphia light
Total syns = 14 Just within my syn limit.
I've had loads of work to do this week, and I'm aware that when I'm under a lot of pressure I do tend to be drawn to want to graze and pick more. I've also not been drinking as much fluid as I should do, so must put in more effort.
In good news, OH comes back from his week away tomorrow:T:j (he's not had a fab time apparently) Can't wait to see him again, feels like I've been in some kind of wilderness waiting for him. Will have to ensure I don't break any speed limits in my rush to get to the airport.
Welcome to the newbies, nice to have you join in. This thread moves pretty quickly at the moment, and I'm struggling to keep up to date some days.
I hope those that look at the avatars don't think that's me in mine!!One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Is anyone else having difficulty getting fat free natural fromage frais? There is a Co-op and a Lidl in my nearest town and they've not had any for a while. Nor does Tesco from whom I get my online shop. I did find some in Morrison's, but that's 15 miles away, so not exactly handy!

Evening all.
Back to gym tonight and just did our own thing!! Did 5 miles on the bike, and 2000m on the rowing machine, and then about 30 minutes on the treadmill at a pretty low level. Got a bit sweaty tbh, but just didn't want to have another pathetic crawling across the floor moment so took it steady this time. I will know what I can manage next time though! I have to say, I really enjoyed watching the TV while exercising - another thing that the bloke the other night suggested NOT doing?! He thought it might distract me. Well it did. And I managed to carry on for a lot longer than chugging away being bored, so not really sure why that was considered a bad thing.
Food going well too - lovely salmon tonight with veg. We had some bananas before going tonight so there was less chance of blood sugar dropping to zero.
Have a good day tomorrow folks!!
Night night0 -

Yep! None in our local Mr T so I asked about it as I couldn't even see the shelf-egde pricing for the stuff - appearently they are changing the packaging (or something like that) and there was a muck up meaning that the old stock was stopped but the new wasn't ordered, so they've had a gap in their stock... Not sure about other supermarkets though?April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
Hiya
Beanie, sending you hugs. The review wasn't too bad - I forgot though most of my workmates weren't aware I'm on crutches so a silence descended when I walked through the door and the only one who did speak spoke in quite a pitying tone - not the reaction I wanted really! My manager was quite nice and quite fair though - Im just waiting on the results of my MRI now before they decide what to do next.
I'm off to my Mum's next Saturdaylooking forward to loads of yummy SW friendly food. It will be good to have a break - Im so stressed at the moment, my alopecia has raised its ugly head again and my head looks like a patchwork quilt
Im quite proud of myself for Wednesday - it was a good day!
Brunch: SW carbonara made with HEXA Laughing Cow and ham, cup of coffee (I've synned my milk today but it was measured to the 100 mls you get for 2 syns)
Snack: Bowl of frozen mixed fruit, Mullerlight, sparkling mineral water
Tea: 3x Sainsbury's Butchers Choice Reduced Fat Sausages (7.5 syns) Smash, beans, 1/2 syn Hartley's jelly pot, Mullerlight, banana, 2 x teas
Supper: Tikka MugShot (2 syns) ham
Syns: 12
Body Magic: 4.1 mile walk (this was with three breaks and numerous stops - I haven't been able to move all evening cos my back hurts that much - maybe I should take it a bit easier!!)
Lantanna - I really cant get rid of the dress. I don't think I would get anything much for it and the fact I need a specific kind of formal dress would mean the cost of buying a new one would likely be prohibitive.

It's WI for me this morning after missing last week due to a funeral. I'm expecting a bit of a gain as not really stuck to plan properly this week and have gone over on my syns.
Today will be another EE day:
B - banana after WI
L - will have another banana before going shopping and will then have some LO chilli & rice when I get home
D - SW mac n cheese (frozen when I made it a few weeks ago so just needs reheating.
HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
HEB - not sure but may have some Ryvitas this evening or 2 Alpen Lights
Syns - butter (if I have Ryvitas); gin & slimline tonic (4)
Will pop back later with result of WI.
